They showed up on time and completed their work very quickly. The team was able to get all the stains out of the carpet except for 1 stubborn pet stain. They did try to upsell their services upon arrival, attempting to get me to spend an extra $56 to have the carpet "deoderized and disinfected." They warned me the carpet would be wet, but the carpet was soaked when the finished. I had to keep the kids contained in the dry areas the entire night.

They were very responsive and punctual. The price was average. The quality of work was good.

Overall it went very well. There were a couple of things that they couldn’t get like shoe polish or something that was very hard. They got the pet stains out. They were quick and friendly. They did inform me how long it will take to dry. I would use them again in future.

My carpet people recommended Stanley Steemer to me. Things went pretty well but they did not move the furniture like they said they were going to.

I am supposed to call them when I want them to come out and I forget to call them. I'm don't like the agreement because it doesn't work for me; it's hard to get the carpets done every three months with our schedule. I pay a set amount for the shampooing every time and I pay extra to have the protectant put on it. I am very happy with the prices and punctuality. If they say they are going to be here, they are here. I don't have anything negative to say except that I don't like the plan that I chose.

Appeared fine until carpet dried. Now looks like carpet had never been cleaned. Unable to remove dirt and stains. Will never use this company again. Sent an email expressing my displeasure but never received a response.

I've been real pleased with them. They do a fantastic job. A different team comes each time. They always show up when they say they will. They are polite and clean. They are just great and stay out of the way of my dog.

We have a plan were they come out every so often. They do a great job. They are prompt and professional. They are very careful with your things and go the extra mile.

I felt that the service was not that impressive. I feel that it didn't take long and I wasn't sold on the price. Overall, they did a fair job but I will not use their service again.

I selected the areas I wanted cleaned and set the date all on line. It listed the price on line also. It was then all cleaned for the quoted price!!

They were very professional. They cleaned the carpets well. I did think they were a little expensive from what we’ve had done before. I will probably be going back to our old company because they did just as well and weren’t as expensive.

They came, they cleaned. Not much of my large furniture could be moved to be cleaned undernearth and behind because I find it very difficult if not impossible to lift the furniture later to remove the blocks. Thus,they basically clean in the middle of the floor which makes me really upset when I am not offered the senior discount. And because I did not get them through Angie's List, I didn't get that discount either.

Arrived on time, and did a good job on cleaning carpet throughout home. Did a good job cleaning 4 rooms, but weren't able to thoroughly clean tough dirt in hallway (though, in fairness, am uncertain if anyone could).

They cleaning was average. What made the experience horrible was the constant attempt to up-sell. The young man was obviously trained in upselling. Nothing is included in their services but basic cleaning. Everything else costs extra. After unsuccessfully trying to up sell me, when I went outside to do yardwork, the young man started agressively trying to up-sell services to her, so much so that he made her uncomfortable.

I've used Stanley Steemer many times and I am always impressed by how easy it is to schedule service and how prompt they are and also they do a really good job of getting carpets clean. I noticed with this last service that their service technicians are getting very pushy and using negative coersion to try and sell-up. They kept telling me how horrible I have been about taking care of my carpets and how they wouldn't look good for long unless I bought their protectant. They also tried to sell me several service plans even though I told them several times I wasn't interested. The most disappointing part of the last visit was that they knocked a large speaker over and it made a hole in the wall and cracked the speaker case. The technicians did not tell me about this before they left and tried to hide it by placing the speaker very close to the wall to hide the hole. I found it a couple of days later while we were taking the furniture off the risers they use and putting everything back in place. I will likely look for another service provider next time I need my carpets cleaned because of this experience.

They always work very hard. They are only service I have used to have the carpets cleaned.

I would rate the overall job as average or below average in some areas. The quality and customer service of Stanley Steemer used to be much higher but I will not use them in the future. (I called Langenwalter to redo parts of the carpet and that company did a great job!)

If I have additional work done when they come out that is not provided for in my annual agreement I will get a 20% discount because I have the one year clean guarantee agreement.

The lady on the phone took my information and quoted a price. Surprisingly, they were available to come almost immediately. I was told to move everything except the large furniture. They would handle that. To my surprise, the guys informed us when they arrived that they could not move any electronics. We were disappointed, but understood it was not their decision, so we asked that they do everything but that. To our surprise, there were many areas of the house where they did not even move beds or dressers to clean underneath! After the electronics misunderstanding, I called Stanley Steemer to let them know that someone needs to make that very clear during the phone call. The lady on the phone just repeated their policy and said someone would call me Monday (our cleaning was on a Friday). NO ONE EVER called to follow up or apologize. I feel that my carpets were only partially cleaned and what is terrible is that it is very inconvenient to move all of your decor/small items (especially with four kids and a dog in the house). Stanley Steemer did not provide what I was told I was paying for.

They had a better price than many places I called. They were very fast and professional and honored the price I was told over the phone although they claimed it was not correct and I was given a discount I should not have been promised. I was pleased with the results and speed of the work.

They were on time. They were out the same night that it happened. They were very responsive. They came out until the job was all done, they were great and I would recommend.

Very professional. Explained to us everything they were doing and asked us to show them any trouble spots. It looks beautiful and the trouble spots are gone!

The service people were ok to work with, but they told me I didn't have to move any big furniture, but they didn't move any of it either. I felt that by not moving the furniture, they didn't get certain areas of the carpet cleaned. I also don't think they did a great job on the stain removal.

They arrived right on time and did the work in a timely, professional way. They even went ahead and included a small hallway that was attached to one of the rooms. They went through the house 1st and soaked the spots or stains with a stain remover, then proceeded to steam clean the carpets. Our carpets were in pretty bad shape, but they actually did a great job with them. The guys were very courteous and conscientious. We will definitely have them back out again.
