He did it...and wired in an extra existing wall switch in addition to a 3 way across the room...an amazing feat..We |did have a problem thereafter with bathroom lights, which he resolved in short order for no more $.

Description of Work: I had used this service provider previously, so I was in hopes that the problem I was experiencing would not reoccur. However, they reinstalled a new rheostat switch, but the problem still existed with the spark and the disconnect to our U Verse TV connection.

Description of Work: First time I've been disappointed with an Angie's List contractor. I was given a window of time for arrival and they came maybe 20 minutes after the end time--no call to give me an ETA, and no apologies. They were wearing nothing that identified them-not even t-shirts with the company logo. There were two electricians just to change out three hall ceiling lights (exchanging old models for updated ones.) Still it took a long time (not sure, maybe 1.5 hours or so? since one of them seemed to be still training.) Cost seemed high. When finished, I went upstairs and saw that the square-shaped flush mount light was crooked. Went outside to catch the guy, and he said the bracket to attach it to was crooked and he'd tried but he'd try again if I really wanted. It was strongly implied that he'd rather I didn't. I said I did. He brought his ladder and stuff back in and this time was able to get it perfectly straight. I shouldn't have had to ask. When finished, he not only didn't come have me check, he simply left and the other guy spoke to me about it. I wasn't given an invoice, so I asked where it was and was told they'd email it. Ok, but how about explain that? Also, it didn't come for a couple of days, so I had to call to ask for it. Unprofessional from start to finish. |

Description of Work: Spec'd, sourced and installed 12 recessed lights and dimmer switches in my kitchen and front room. Outstanding work with a 'get it done' attitude. I would not hesitate to use Rickel Electric again.

Description of Work: Everything was fantastic. We had Rickel install lighting fixtures and hide the TV and other cables behind the wall above our fireplace. Never a problem. Always satisfied with their communication and quality of work.

Description of Work: I purchased a "Big Deal" of four pot lights for $399. The company was very helpful in arranging a time for installation. I had to cancel at the last minute and reschedule. The electricians were on time, very pleasant, and completed the work as quickly as possible. My house had some odd wiring that made the job more difficult than anticipated. I had them install the lights on two separate switches. I did pay an another $65 for that additional service. They cleaned up carefully afterwards. The lights look wonderful, and I am very happy with the entire process.

Description of Work: Checked the routing for the ceiling light and other outlets in the kitchen. Determined that the problem was the bulbs not the wiring. He worked quickly to eliminate possible sources of the problem.
