The electrician, Tom if I remember correctly, fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. Rickel is a small company and what I especially like, apart from being satisfied with their work more than once, is that they simply come out to look at the problem, no discussion about refundable or non-refundable costs just to come to your home. Consistent with being a small company, a minor criticism is that it wasn't so easy to get in touch with them but it worked out well in the end. Overall, will definitely use again.

Doing some minor renovations on the house and needed some switches and plugs moved or installed new as well as adding 220 plugs in the garage. The original estimate was done via email without seeing the actual property, so we requested an on-site better estimate. This took a bit longer than expected to schedule. Once Jason Rickel provided the estimate and locked in a date, he and another guy showed up on time and completed the work in a day. There was a slight issue with the agreed upon location of some new plugs but he soon returned to take care of it.

Jason has a knowledgable and punctual team. The project was completed quickly and easily. I've now used Rickel Electric twice and would highly recommend them for either residential or commercial services.

After several years of working with Jason and his crew I am compelled to make report of the outstanding work Rickel Electric does. This company y doesn’t waste their money on flashy commercials or fancy bright colored trucks/vans with her name plastered all over in gaudy brihht lettters. Instead you get a low overhead firm that passes that value on in the form of great pricing. All of the A ratings in this Angie review are deserved. My only regret is they eventually become too busy or successfuland & loose what makes them unique, customer focus and value! I doubt it. Rickel is my only electrical contractor. G

Communication was fair: it took several days just to get a quote, then several more days to get a date set up. However, Justin arrived on time and got to work right away. I had an outlet with a ground wire but only a 2-prong plug; I wanted the 2-prong plug changed to a 3-prong which I provided. He finished quickly and asked if I had other jobs to be done. The $125 I paid is Rickel's standard service call charge.

I called him immediately. I'd say he came the next day, but I don't have the date in front of me. It was more than a garage door, it was a line that had been damaged by a fiber optics company that's coming into our neighbor. So, Jason found the problem and repaired it for me. It controlled my garage door and outside lights. It was a wiring issue. I thought the price was a little bit high. I have used them several times.

Jason Rickel immediately responded to my request for an estimate to do the work. We scheduled a date, he pulled the permit and signed the electric vehicle paperwork for IPL and it went perfectly. He arrived on-time, worked efficiently, had a good rapport with IPL, which had to shut off the electric while he put in a box for a second meter and moved the existing meter and master shut-off. Overall he was excellent!!!
