We are in an all electric home built in 1961 that has baseboard heaters. 3 of the heaters were out. I called Jason on 12/8/10 and he was here by 7:00 A.M. on 12/9/10. We are very pleased with his service. Jason found the problem quickly, repaired it and was gone within 1/2 hour. He also will be doing some light and switch replacement for us after I find the lights. My husband & I are in our 70's, and unable to do many of the things needed in this almost 50 year old home. We appreciate so much those who are able to come to our rescue! (and a whole lot warmer thanks to Jason:)

Jason is the only guy I will trust to do my electrical work. He is the best! Not only does he charge a fair rate, he performs the job in a highly professional manner. He cleans up after the job is completed. Last year, Jason installed all my yard lights and did a fantastic job. He also installed additional outlets in my garage. He is honest and I would trust him in the house alone if I needed to step out. That means a lot! I cannot imagine anyone else doing my electrical.

Very good experiece. Although arriving a day early, Jeremy was prompt and detailed in hanging the lighting fixtures. The repairs to the exhaust fan and light unit were speedy. Price was phenomenal! Will definitely use Rickel's again and again!

Jason was very professional. He returned phone calls promptly. His estimate was detailed and more professional than the other quotes we had solicited. He was prompt, efficient, thorough, responsible, and reliable. In addition to all that, he was friendly and cleaned up after his work. A situation arose that puts Jason above his peers. I'd asked him to repair a piece of siding on my mother's house. Even after, what we thought was adequate communication, the wrong piece of siding was repaired. Jason was extremely sorry about the mix-up and made the correct repair at his cost. I had no doubt that he would make good on the mistake. Jason is a man of integrity who takes pride in his work. He can be trusted to do what he says he will do in a professional and timely manner. When we have more electrical work or home repairs, I would not hesitate to call him again.

Jason Rickel returned my call promptly and arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and thoughtful. He quoted me "time and materials" and the cost seemed fair to me. His work was excellent. I would recommend him highly.

Estimate was the most reasonable of 3 that were gathered. Time to complete work was estimated (and completed) in one full day where other companies needed a day and a half or multiple workers. Jason showed up on time and worked methodically (he started with areas that would need to be patched so that there was time for drying/sanding). Answered all of my questions during the process. Was very helpful with selecting the placement of the lights in the kitchen. I would deffinately recommend and rehire!

Rickel repaired the porch light so I didn't need to buy and install a new one.

The estimate was complete, accurate and executed. Jason was responsive and flexible to my schedule and delivered on the promise. I have no reservation in calling him in the future for any work to be performed.

The new fixtures look and work great. The patched areas of the ceiling look great, too. We haven't painted the ceiling yet -- that wasn't part of what we hired Jason to do -- but the patches are nearly invisible. Nice guy, good professional work, good prices. We'll definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

We had decided to bury our electic service to no longer have overhead lines this year. We got 3 estimates from electricians before deciding on Jason Rickel. He was the most reasonable and was very professional. We were very pleased with his service.

Jason returned my call within a few hours and provided a quote that was over $100 cheaper than other "A-list" companies. He originally stated he could do the job a week later, but was able to squeeze me in just 2 days later because I needed the work done quickly. He and arrived right in the middle of the 2-hour window he gave me and finished the work quickly. Since his prices were so reasonable we asked for quotes on other electrical projects around our home. We will definitely hire him again!

Great! He came, checked the attic, found the wires and fixed them. He even uncovered some dead birds that we did not know were there.

The firm quoted a reasonable estimate for the work to be performed. They showed up exactly as they said they would (what a pleasant surprise!), did the work contracted for in an efficient manner, gave us no surprises, and charged failry for the work actually performed. We consider Jason and Rickle Home Improvement our favorite electrical contractor and handyman, and recommend them witout reservation!!

Jason did not show up during agreed time window. Only after calling him to inquire what's going on, did he offer to come the next day instead. Since I did not want to waste another day sitting around waiting for him, I declined the offer. In summary, totally unacceptable and unprofessional conduct.

Believe everything you've read in the reviews here, as it's how we chose Rickel's. Jason was great. He was very professional on the phone, in showing up on time to generate a quote, and in offering to do the work right away when he determined it wouldn't take more than an hour to do it all. Price was very, very reasonable, and we won't hesitate to use him again for all electrical work in the future.

Everytime I've worked with him, he's been great. His prices are very reasonable, he's punctual, and he does an outstanding job. You don't get ripped off and he goes above and beyond all the time.
