I called to schedule the above work and they came out the following week. The work was done quickly and efficiently.I am very pleased with the results.

I needed to change the breaker box that was completely rusted. Jeremy did an excellent job to change those boxes, all the fuses and even add some plugs for future use He did label all the circuit for easy maintenance and diagnostic for future.. He also did fix some three way switches that wired improperly I'll recommend them to anyone with any job size.

All I can say is WOW! These guys came and did a heck of a job. The recess lighting job was great really brightened up the room. They also helped up with another light dimmer light. They went above and beyond .Use these guys.

Jason gave us estimates to either correct problems in our electrical panel or replace it. We ended up deciding to correct the problem by fixing some grounds and replacing an improper amp circuit breaker. Jason was kind enough to come out on a Saturday to do the work so we could use our heat pump again. We were very pleased with his service and will be using him again soon for another project.

Two men were on-sight for 6-7 hours and completed all the updates/fixes that I wanted to have done at this time. They were busy the entire time they were on site and they clearly communicated what needed to be done and offered alternative solutions to problems to be fixed and clearly described what they thought was the best way to address issues. I will definitely use Rickel Electic again.

They came early in the morning and had everything done within 2-3 hours. They cleaned up after themselves as well. We are very pleased and satisfied with their work and professionalism. We would use them again!

Timely, straight forward pricing and work. Also gave fair quotes for many other potential electrical items. Helpful to fix soffit through a sub-contractor he uses frequently.

He contacted me within 24 hours of the quote request & provided an estimate for both jobs. We scheduled the first job & it was completed on time & the guys cleaned up after themselves. They also looked at some other electrical projects, and provided an estimate for that work as well. He also made some suggestions on where to buy the exterior light fixtures, and the type of lights to purchase. We scheduled the exterior work a few weeks later. Once again, he showed up on time & completed the job to our satisfaction. Would definitely call them again for future jobs.

It went great. They arrived on time, were very friendly, and were in and out in less than an hour and the job was done right the first time. This is the second time I have used Rickel electric to install a bathroom light, so I knew what to expect.

Jason stopped by, disagreed with the assessment and advised me of a couple things including a possible code violation for how much clearance existed for the panel. Jason was down to earth and helpful - he'll be the first who gets my business next time I have an electrical maintenance issue. Thanks Jason!

I purchased a big deal for $99 for the installation of a recessed light with dimmer switch. They contacted me promptly to schedule the appointment and were on time. I requested just the wiring to be done, as I had my own light fixture I wanted to install instead of the recessed lighting. They installed in my specified location, which was nice because I certainly could not have installed in that location myself. They did a quick review of my electric panel, but I did not receive any sort of report on it. I would hire them again.

I was lucky enough to get the owner, Jason Rickel. He's an outstanding workman. He's very attentive to quality, very meticulous, & just very friendly. I'm very happy with the work. I've lived in this house for 20 years & I've always needed another outlet in the bathroom and it fabulous to have it finally.

We've had no problems with the work that was done. They made a suggestion to make our ceiling fan/light fixture last longer instead of replacing the whole thing.

Technician arrived at scheduled time to address several outlets that had lost power along with a couple of light fixtures. After a brief discussion, he identified an outlet that had a loose wire and this addressed one of the issues. Further checkout determined some outlets still did not work so the technician kept searching and found one of the GFI outlets was intermittently causing issues. After replacing that, everything worked perfectly. I would recommend and use this company for work in the future!

There was no power to half my condo, including the furnace. Condo maintenance folks found no issues within the walls of the unit, then a friend came over, started turning on random things, and got power to come on dimly to the non-functioning areas. I called Rickel, then discovered the key to getting all the power on was to turn on the stove. Rickel's staff used that information to (a) find the source of the problem and (b) answer all my questions about how electricity can flow back from the functioning line through the dead one via the oven. Sadly, we had to rely on the power company to actually fix the problem.

Jason called to let me know when he would arrive. Once he arrived, he got right to work and was finished installing the surge protection within 15-20 minutes. He is very courteous and I really appreciated the call about his arrival time.

Took down the old ceiling fan and put up a new one.

I called for a quote that was very reasonable. I accepted the quote by email and scheduled them to come in a week. The day of they did not arrive as expected. When I called to see if there was a problem they said I had not been added to the calendar. They offered to come later in the day. They did a good job and it was done as requested. They apologized for coming late.

They did great work. Very responsive and reasonable cost.

I had a bathroom light that wasn't working. Jason called to let me know he was running a bit late, checking to see if that was a problem. It wasn't. Once he arrived, he quickly determined the problem as a light switch that needed to be replaced. That was accomplished quickly.

He was very professional, on time and courteous. We decided on a date to install the light and he along with his crew were there on time. Our home is about 30 yrs old so there were a few unexpected hiccoughs and technical problems during the installation process. Jasen and his crew did a respectable job of keeping the house clean. We had expected the job to be done in 3 hrs but due to these unexpected problems, it lasted almost an entire day (about 6-7 hrs). He did not overcharge for anything. At the last minute, we decided to go for LED instead of CFL recessed lights. Jasen was OK with such a last minute change and ran up to Menards to get the new bulbs. We ended up paying more for the bulbs (but that was our decision and not a problem with his estimate). He even fixed a faulty light dimmer switch (for an extra fee) on the same day even though it was not part of his scheduled work. Here is where my problem comes in though. The service was great but the LED dimmer switch (luteron) he installed does not seem to do the trick. If I had only one LED bulb (it would dimm all the way through) but with 6 LED bulbs (they dim maybe by 15% tops). If I bring my dimmer down any further, the lights started flickering. I'm thinking this is a problem with the power rating of the switch or something. A month later, all the lights would start flickering ramdomly (even on full power) and it would feel like there is a ghost in the house. It gets distracting (esp since it happens daily). I've made 2 calls to his office and his receptionist/secretary said Jasen would call me back. It's been 2 months now and no one has called me back. Horrible customer service after the installation is complete. I decided not to use his services for the other projects in my house and found another very reliable local electrical service on angieslist. I'm still waiting to hear back from Jasen about resolution of this issue. I need that flickering light issue to be resolved.

Roger who works for Rickel electrical was excellent. He was on time, very friendly, competent and worked continuously . Roger even took the time to add an addition dimmer that I wanted that was not on work order. Thanks roger. Would definitely recommend and will use again.
