The electrician arrived on time. The electrician came ready to replace the ceiling fan and light but I thought he was giving me a quote. The discussed the issue with the office and rectified the situation with a very fair quote.. He replaced the fan and light with no problems. He cleaned up after he was done. There were no hidden costs and everything has worked correctly since installation. Very nice serviceman.. I would definitely recommend the company for future use.

Called previous week for an estimate. Appointment was set between 8 to 9am on June 5th. Called me at 11:45am to tell me "they" were almost done at a job in 20 minutes and would be over. I responded with the insight that I was expecting him between 8/9am and the response was that well he had 9:45am in his calendar as justification for not showing up and not calling until 11:45am. I guessed that to mean it was not that late. I waited an additional 75 minutes. Never showed up or called. Tremendous waste of time. I finally left my house for work at 1pm. I was not impressed in any way. I am rather surprised their rating is high given this experience.

Jason and his crew did a great job on two occasions working for us. The quoting process was easy and the quote was delivered in a timely manner. They completed their work, were friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up upon completing the work, and came in on budget. We will recommend them to our friends/family in the area.

I emailed Jason a video of what we wanted and he got me a quote over immediately which was great. he has always been very responsive on previous questions I have had. They gave me a couple of options we decided not to pursue the entire package at the time with other home projects we had going on. 2 workers came over in the morning to install we walked through the job together. I thought we were on the same page. When they left I inspected the 4 lower outlets were installed...they looked great. The electrictian left and the other guy they kept referring to as the digger (I guess he was in training), was coming back to smooth over the landscaping. I realized I forgot to look at the outlet under the stairs so I went to look and it wasn't there. I called the company immediately to ask...they called the electrician to find out where he put it....he had installed it under our deck 1 story up and 15 feet away from where I had asked him to. It was a big misunderstanding and I don't think there was anything vicious about it but holy moly I certainly wished I had hired a court reporter to document the conversation. It was like pulling teeth to try and explain. They wanted to charge me to have the electrician come back out and move it. They weren't happy that I let the electrician leave but I was so magnetized by the other 4 outlets I simply forgot to check. I called the owner and sent a thorough email to explain the situation and referred them back to the original video I sent. he said he would get back with me. 2 weeks later no response. I sent a 3rd and final email and the owners wife responded. Said she was sorry for the lack in response but the flu had ripped through their office and they were a bit behind. Trying to be understanding I signed up for 3-5 time slot the next day. I left work early to be there and got a call from Jason (Owner) at 3:15 pm. He left me a message saying he didn't know what to do with my job and that this had never happened before blah blah....seriously I felt like I needed an attorney as they were treating me like some crazy person who just has companies out and tells them to install things one place and then simply change their mind. My family and I do not have time for that kind of nonsense and we certainly have a great respect for small business owners. If it were my error I would have totally paid the extra money to have them move it but I didn't feel it was my fault. I thought it was really rude to change his mind 15 min into my time slot and leave me a message explaining why I was wrong. I called back...no answer...Jason called me back the next day and said he would get someone out there. Their office lady called me I told her I was available Monday, tues, or wed...we picked wed 2-4....they showed up tues instead....I put it right into my calendar and confirmed our timeslot over the phone before we got off.... The electrician looked at me like I was crazy when I said our appointment was the next day. what ever...honestly I don't get it...this company has great reviews....I really can't explain it...everyone has an off day but truly this was my experience. I can't tell you how frusturating the "but you told our electrician" conversation was...I am not lying so please just fix it. they did great work but I can't afford a hassle like this again. I really wanted to give them an F but they did come fix it....finally over 2 weeks later.

The guys arrived on time and completed the work within the estimated time; It took several installs of the ceiling fan as the first one did not work correctly. They removed it and installed another one at no additional charges. Install the solar powered attic fan about two weeks later. Great work at a great price. Will use Rickel Electric, LLC again...

He was prompt and effiecient as always and very polite. I have had Rickle out to do work several times now and they have always been very good. I trust them and will continue to use them.

We had several quotes. They came in as the cheapest and promised to do the work without punching a bunch of holes in our ceiling. They did great! Showed up early and worked hard until the job was done. Had to reposition the lights from initial plan due to hitting ceiling joists, but made sure we were happy with the new placement. Everything looks great! Would definitely use again and recommend!

Everything went as planned. Very easy company to work with and gave accurate estimate. I had 4 or 5 different estimates and Rickel Electric was excellent with their pricing. Work was performed quickly and they arrived when scheduled. We had one fan/light combo installed in each of our 2 upstairs bathrooms and 1 in our half bath on the ground floor. One other electrical company stated they couldnt even do the downstairs bathroom venting but Rickel got it done quickly and correctly. We will definitely use this company in the future. Highly recommended!

He was here for 10 minutes. He said he would send a receipt by e mail.. Hope everyone has a computer. He first said my bill was $125.00 and then he changed it to $90.00 cause I said something about the price. No call ahead before coming like Dial One does. used our ladder cause it was taller. Nice Guy. Our fan does work.

They were very prompt and courteous. Very reasonably priced. They worked well with me to fit my schedule in. They were very professional.

I contacted Rickel the same day I purchased the inspection discount on Angie's List. The company scheduler worked with me to act promptly on my request despite short staffing at the company this week.Jason was scheduled between 12PM-2PM but was delayed by earlier jobs; he contacted me before his time window expierd and reset his arrival to 3PM. Jason did arrive at the rebooked time and promptly went to work identifying the cause of the flickereing lights that we had noticed in several rooms of the condo. He checked the main circuit board and the outside meter box. He identified several of the original circuit breakers that were starting to run hot. He was able to replace these during the visit for very reasonable cost. He also offered to do a courtesy followup if our problem recurs any time soon. We were quite impressed with his acumen and focus in getting our problems resolved on a busy day for him.

Jeremy arrived exactly on time with all materials needed to complete the jobs. He was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done to complete his work. All work was completed in a very timely fashion and he was very good about cleaning up the work areas. I felt the price charged was outstanding for all the work that was completed. I will be calling them back again for my future electrical needs.

It went really well. He had an opening the afternoon I called. He showed up on time and within about 90 minutes everything was fixed. He could have tricked me into needing new light fixtures, but they were all inexpensive fixes which he completed. Very professional and nice.

Rickel Electric (Jason Rickel) came out to do an estimate and to make suggestions for improving our kitchen lighting. He had good ideas and provided a formal quotation very promptly. When we scheduled the work, he installed the new lighting in a few hours and left everything neat and clean. When we were not satisfied because the individual LED lights made a glare on the shiny granite countertops, Jason found light diffusers to put over the LED strips. He made a separate trip to try out and install the diffusers. There is still some glare from the LEDs, but the situation is much improved. I would recommend Bickel Electric for any home electrical work you might have. He is based in Carmel but covers the Indianapolis metropolitan are.

There was a risk of needing to reschedule due to other jobs running behind. Jason did his best to accomplish at least the most important tasks on the day scheduled, including bringing in another employee during the afternoon. The lower priority tasks have been rescheduled and that's much better than having to reschedule the whole project. I understand that it can be difficult to estimate the exact time required to complete a project (with quality), whether it's mine or another customer's. Jason is VERY conscientious, professional, and committed to customer satisfaction. I'm confident that the remaining tasts will be completed at the next visit, and based on that will certainly use Rickel for any future wiring needs.

.We had been unable to get another contact to call us back about installing a new TV over the fireplace. We searched Angie's List and found that our neighbor, Jason Rickel does this work. We called and were able to schedule within a week. We had wanted the work done prior to Christmas. He drilled through the brick and ran our existing cable up from the basement and fed it through the wall to the main level. He installed an additional wall outlet and placed all the technical equipment on the shelving we had for the components. We have had him do some electrical work a few years ago and would defininitely hire him again.

Overall the service was great and their response time was incredible.

Both times they were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. 2nd time we were gouged. Ended up costing us 3x more than what was quoted. If they send two people, you will pay for both / hour, not by the job!

It was a more complicated job than originally thought and required several return trips over a period of time. They stuck with the job and were professional and pleasant throughout. They cleaned up each step of the way as best they could (attic insulation was involved at one point).
