As a result of a home inspecition, I needed some electrical work done. After searching on Angie's list, I called Rickel electric and they were able come out the next day. Jeremy came out and replaced a regualr outlet with a GFCI outlet in the mini-barn and was able to test the GFCI outlet which goes to the basement and the exterior house outlets in less than an hour.

After repairing the florescent ceiling light, i asked if he would repair my track light n fix the hutch light . He left to go to the store to get supplies and a 2 man crew came to finish the work. The men were great and completed the work in short time. The bill came to a little over $200.00. i couldn't believe the price ...... they were so reasonable. This will be my electrical company for any electrical issues.

Jason Rickel's service man removed an existing bathroom exhaust fan and installed a new larger exhaust fan that also has a heater and lights. The existing hole in the ceiling had to be enlarged and a separate circuit had to be installed to handle the heating element. The service man went to install larger duct work in the attic on the day of the installation but he said the quality of the duct work was poor so he came back later (at no additional charge) and installed better quality duct work. We have used Rickel Electric several times for electrical projects and have been pleased with their work.

Inspection was very thorough, inside and out. Other than taking too long on response time when scheduling the initial appointment I have no complaints. We've received an estimate for work to be done and we knew we'd need some. The estimate seems reasonable and I am confident in the company. I'll report again after we hire the work done.

They have done a great job every time, the work was well priced and we are very happy.

everyone was very professional and prompt - they provided a great service at the last minute. their help was very much appreciated and i'll no doubt use them again.

I called on Monday for an appointment. They were able to schedule me the next day which i appreciated because the faulty switch was a definite hazard. The Repairman showed up after a minor delay (he called to let us know). The work was done quickly and professionally.

Still deciding. We have no doubt that if he does the work, he will do a great job.

They provided me with a detailed estimates of work needed.

We needed a cable jack installed on a particular living room wall. I had received three prior estimates from the cable company, an AV company and another electrician. The responses to this request ranged from " it can't be done" to very complicated solutions that would involve complicated wiring and extensive drywall repair costing over $1000. Thankfully I found Rickel Electric. Jason came out for an estimate and immediately thought of a simple, relatively inexpensive solution that nobody else had thought of. A week later Jeremy came out and installed our cable jack. We're very happy happy with Rickel Electric and won't hesitate to use them in the future.

VERY impressed by Jason. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Only took him about 40-45 min. to complete the work. The best thing was the price. We figured having another electrician do the work would have cost us a lot more. Having the Angie's List coupon saved us $14. We will definitely be using him again!!!!!

.Electrician showed up on time and reset tripped circuit. Recommended installation (and did) install updated outlet cover that more clearly indicates power interruption. Didn't get receipt at time of visit but one was made available on line a few days later.

They were excellent. As a matter of fact, I even think I may have called even the owner, Jason. I was really very impressed with him. They were wonderful. I didn't think that we spent more than the big deal purchased. My husband and I both were impressed with them. They just did an outstanding job. They were just so neat and respectful. They have respect for my property. I was just very pleased. It was a father and son who worked for him. They were timely and they called before they came. There was a mix-up at first. I think something happened with the office with a couple of people who were running the office. Once I called and talked to the owner, there were no more problems. Things like that can happen. There were some things going around at that time. I would use them again in the future.

These guys were great! the quoting phase was awesome, Jason got back to me in a timely fashion... the job itself has been tricky but definitely NOT because of these guys. His team showed up on time and assessed the job and got to work. Things didn't go as planned though. Because of them, I found out I had termite damage above the fireplace... these guys were amazing for doing the right thing and showing me what they found and how they found it!! I just moved in to my new house about a week or so prior to this... so I was disappointed but beyond thankful that they went above and beyond showing me what they found. One of them was kind enough to speak with my father and explain the situation to him and we all agreed the correct course of action would be to hold off completing the installation for this portion of the job until I can get it checked out. They were even nice enough to help me move my TV stand into the living room and set up the tv and hook up my cable for me! The other portion that involved the master bedroom was a complete success! they did such a great job!! it's amazing! Best choice I've made in hiring these guys!! I will DEFINITELY be calling them to finish the job!! These guys were great!

There was some confusion on when the electrician would be arriving I'm sure some of it was my fault but still confusing. Once Jeremy arrived he was very professional, got right to work, and made sure things were right in the panel.

The guy they sent was very polite, very flexible, very willing to do what we needed. He was prompt. The negative was, in my mind, that they sent one guy to do a two-guy job. I ended up helping with certain things, he had a very tall ladder and he was trying not to scratch my hardwood floors, so I helped him.

They were very professional, and helped me achieve what I wanted to accomplish as far as my lighting goes, and they were priced reasonably.

Overall, it went very well. Another quote I received was outrageously high. They were on time and did a good job. When there was a mistake or an adjustment needed, they came back and fixed it no problem.

He was a very good technician. He did say, however, that he would come back to fix another outlet but never did.

I will use him again in the future. He showed up when he said he was going to show up; in fact I think a few minutes early. I felt like he was trying to help me conserve costs that he didn’t 4.32 anything, and he came with very cost effective options for me.

OMG - I so highly regard Mr. Rickle! I have used his company many times and I know I gave a report, but I don't see that report for some reason. I want anyone that considers Mr. Rickle to know that he is an EXCEPTIONAL worker and always on time and does PERFECT WORK!!! He is actually my most favorite person to hire - because he has very high integrity and is so kind. Whenever I have an electric need - I look forward to seeing Mr. Rickle - he is pure joy. Let me tell you, this man works rapidly and gets the job done beautifully and perfectly. He does not in any way take advantage of people he works for; I believe he treats his customers the way he would want to be treated - EXCEPTIONAL!!! His personality is one of a very caring and kind person that one can always trust. This is a very rare kind person to come by in these days. He is just a sweetheart of a man. He knows his stuff too and that is why moves quickly - bamboo - zip zap done beautifully and perfectly and kindly. I most highly recommend Mr. Rickle and trust me you will never ever find a man with this sincere integrity. I feel very blessed to find an honest man to help with electric things I do. He just smiles at me when comes over - he really never knows what to expect from me - I don't even ask for an estimate because I trust. him. He is a young man and his skills are above and beyond any other person I have EVER hired. I wish he was my son and I know his parents must be so very proud of the man they raised. I know I would be. I have this too: to be as talented as he is with his profession - he not one bit arrogant!!! He is very humble and special. I found him on Angie's when he very first started his business and what a true treasure. I highly recommend Mr. Rickle, but please people don't all of his time - I need him a lot it seems. I love lighting and he knows it!!! He also rewired my entire sewing room one time; he installed lots of chandeliers for me - I actually believe he completely re done my whole lighting systems throughout my home. I know he has now I think about each room. He also gives good tips on how to make special project even better!!! This man is just plain old gifted and you would never know that from his unique kindness and humble character!!

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service. There were a couple of minor issues so he gave me an estimate on a number of things to do, but I have not done any of them yet. My impression was that they used the deal to encourage me to buy other services from them. They gave me a big long list of things I could do that cost a lot of money. He did what he said he was going to do and came out when he said he would.

Initially we were not sure about going with this company because they did a quick quote after a brief look at what we wanted. Turns out that's all they needed. They were affordable, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept us in the loop the whole time and even taught my husband a few things he can maintain on his own. The amount of work that needed to be done was substantial but they were the only company that gave us affordable and safe options that did not include ripping out entire walls, having two or three days of work or rewiring most of the house. Both Jason and Jeremy(hope I got his name right) were great to work with. My husband even took video because of how efficient they were. We will definitely use Rickel in the future.

They charged me to much and very bad communication.

On first visit, installation went well, but later, after one of the tenants did not pay their electric bill and had power shut off, I found out that an entire circuit in one side of the duplex was being shared, including electric for outlets and refrigerator. I contacted Rickel and they corrected the work to just share the well pump electricity, but the C rating for professionalism was because of their lack of response to emails asking for a status report on the corrective work.
