Excellent service. Called on Monday and spoke with Jason. He had one of his workman out that afternoon to replace the photoelectric cell for my outside lights. I didn't have to be home for the electrician to do the work. The bill was email to me and I could pay online. It was wonderful not having to be home to have a workman complete the job.

Very knowledgable and helpful. Adjusted scope of service and fee once we realized the initial project could not be completed.

Technician, Jeremy, obviously knew what he was doing. The job only took 15 to 20 minutes tops. He answered all my questions in the process. In fact, I called him on the phone two times to ask follow up questions. He was very patient and courteous in his answers. I would be very comfortable using this company again.

I appreciated that the owner emailed me the day before the appointment to confirm it. The techs quickly changed out four ceiling fixtures. They also diagnosed an issue we're having with another fixture. They were patient in answering my questions. We are happy with the service.

It was great! I used the SnapFix app and forgot that he was coming. But he knocked it out in like 20 minutes. I'm so happy to be able to see my shoes again!

It has been a while since they came out to do the work, but I do not recall there being any troubles with scheduling. Everything seemed to turned out all right.

I requested 4 estimates and Jason Rickel was the first to respond and was the lowest cost and did excellent work. He quoted the work the day after I left a message. He explained the difference and advantage of dropping a new line and meter and confirmed the quote after speaking with IPL. He showed up to perform the work 3 days later and worked with IPL to ensure that the order was in place to drop the new lines. It works great. They were very neat and clean and put all waste into my trash cans. One other vendor never returned my call. Another gave me a phone estimate of $800-$1200 and the third, Mr. Electric, initially refused to provide a quote without charging me $69. Eventually they came out to provide an estimate and their estimate was over $3000. They then offered an Angie's List discount to get it to around $2400, still almost 4 times as much as Mr. Rickel. I highly recommend Rickel Electric. I would definitely use Rickel Electric again.

Went well, received a written quote for the work requested, spoke with Stacy in the office several times to clarify things, scheduled the work, arrived on time. The jobs were completed efficiently. Only downside: Response time to phone calls and inquiries was not always the best; overall customer communication could be improved.

They were very helpful. I had bought an $89 inspection deal and I needed a dining room light taken down and a new one put up. I also had two outside lights that weren't working but fortunately had simple fixes. They did a good job, were very informative, and are coming back to do more work for me.

excellent. the man who did the work did a great job. it was a challenging project to find a way to install the 4 security lights - one on each side of the home, and install a switch that worked for all 4. the installer came up with an elegant way to get it done as expediently, and cleanly as possible including fishing line thru front porch soffit from side wall without having to poke any extra holes anywhere. it looks good. he knew what he was doing, and came across as a clean-cut professional. in addition he came out when he said he would, the work was done quickly, and jason squeezed me in quickly because i was in a time crunch. i had one small problem i noticed after workman left. he didn't have a triple cover switch plate and i told him no problem, i'd get one. when i put plate on i noticed that that the electric box for the switch was installed slightly on an angle causing the cover plate not to fit on quite right. i contacted jason who had the situation fixed in the next day or two no problem. i've used jason now several times and each time he has had good people come out and do a good job and jason has been a pleasure to work with. he is responsive and conscientious.

They were right on time and cleaned up any mess. I was very pleased with the service and price. They even advised me with the best placement of the lights. This was done on a cathedral ceiling so it wasn't easy. We will definitely use them again.

The work was done quickly, effectively, and he was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help me out with my kitchen renovation. I got more than I bargained for (I always do when I use them). I will continue using Rickel as long as I need electrical work completed.

Scheduling was good they were out within a week of me purchasing the deal. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. They also swapped out an electrical outlet behind my refrigerator because the current outlet didn’t work with my new refrigerator.

I was not comfortable with the level of expertise or professionalism that they were showing and that caused me to look for another electrician. I have been without power for several hours and they were the first company who has somebody available to come to my home so I did appreciate that but the person who came didn't even have a flashlight. He was using the light on his cellphone to see my panel box and he said that the panel box would have to be replaced which was obvious because it had burned. I just didn't feel comfortable with that level of expertise. He referred that to someone else within his company and I just thought they would be there the same day but they were not. A bit before 5, I called to find the status. They told me that they would come the following day which was a Saturday and that they had purchased a huge panel breaker to replace the box that I had. I wasn't necessarily sure why he would use the equipment for a panel box, they couldn't explain to me why that was the best option. I found another company and I much more comfortable with their responses and so I called before their Saturday appointment to cancel.

Electrician arrived promptly, determined problem was in furnace itself, called in another repairman, problem was solved after finding correct parts. Very flexible, very fast.

we scheduled the big deal for 4 recessed lights. Jason came out at a scheduled time and installed them without any difficulty. He even had suggestions for 3 additional lights to help brighten up the space. He did a great job and we have no complaints. The dimmer switch runs a little warm because of the amount of watts on that particular line but Jason assured me everything is fine. He cleaned up well and there is virtually no drywall damage other than a small drill hole in the ceiling that im going to patch and repaint anyways.

Overall liked the service except some add ons I believe were overpriced. No damage to the ceiling was made and Jason answered all of my queries before I gave them the job. The electrician was punctual, and didn't rush on things. Electrician recommended correct placements of lights according to our needs but still gave us the final say.
