Dave and his crew were extremely professional, helpful and kind. He kept me posted along the way and negotiated with insurance to make sure everything was covered and done the right way. In an industry with many bad actors, they are the best. I’d hire again in a heartbeat.

Great Company, great service. I called Dave Zier, owner of Preferred Roofing and Restoration, to evaluate my roof. Dave responded promptly and he came out to look at the roof as promised. After examining the roof, Dave identified some repairs that were needed and promptly returned with his crew to perform the work at a fair and responsible cost. He treats and respects his employees very well, and in turn they are very loyal to him. I will definitely call Dave back for any future roofing repair that may be needed.

Excellent company for roofing, The crew was very professional and arrived early in the morning to begin work. The crew covered everything around the house that needed protection and cleaned the yard when finished of all debris. Dave, the owner stopped by several times during the day to check on progress and to determine if there were any problems. I highly recommend Preferred Roofing.

Dave called us back within hours, and he came by to look at the roof the following day. After examining the roof, Dave let us know that our roof was still in good condition and he projected that the roof should be good for several more years. Dave was extremely responsive. I called him in the middle of a project I was doing with a problem that needed to be addressed expeditiously. Dave came out within 2 hours to evaluate the problem, worked with me on a cost-effective and top-quality solution. He had workers out the very next day. He worked us into his extremely busy schedule to bail me out of a mess. I'd recommend this company to anyone!

I am very pleased with my new roof and my interactions with Preferred Roofing. This was the first time I have purchased a new roof. Their quote was the most detailed of the quotes I obtained. The communication with Dave was easy; he quickly responded to all my questions. The roofing crew finished in one day, were very polite, and did their best to minimize the mess and debris. And no surprise charges! The final bill was for the same amount as the quote.

Perfect! They arrived at 7:30 am promptly, covered all landscaping to protect my plant material and worked hard all day to complete the job by sunset. Cleaned up so well that it was hardly noticeable that anyone was working in my yard! Very thorough and meticulous.....like me! Would absolutely refer Dave and use him again! ❤️

We had three companies, including Preferred come out to give us quotes on roof replacement. Dave came out himself, did an inspection, met with our insurance adjuster, and helped us through the insurance process for a seamless roof and gutter replacement! He always answered our calls or texts in an appropriate amount of time. He was very helpful explaining what would work best for our situation. We never felt pressured (unlike the other companies we had quotes from), and Dave and his crew did a beautiful job on our house. They were quick, efficient and professional. We are so happy we went with Dave and Preferred Roofing and we will recommend them to anyone who asks!

Dave Zier was extremely easy to work with as we had a number of issues to resolve with replacing a shake roof with asphalt. Although his quote was not the lowest, we are very pleased with our choice. Communications throughout the process were great, work was completed as agreed to.

Wonderful! Have a large steep multi-dimensional roof. We had sheathing that needed replacing from rott. They did a very thorough job on the flashing, especially around the chimney. Ice and water guards, drip edges were all properly and expertly installed. The gutters were cleaned and they installed everything over a 4 day period in about 20mph winds! The communication was excellent! The weather this spring and the storm damage from this winter made things challenging. However, preffered was up to the task! They were prompt, thorough, and did a great job with clean up (despite the winds!) The owner is very down to earth and knowledgeable and gave us some great examples of other homes near by to look at and help with color selection. I would highly recommend them and feel confident about the installation and longevity of our new roof.

It went extremely well. Began on time and finished on time. I am a very satisfied customer.

Contact with Dave the owner was made on about 4/4/2019. He gave me an estimate with no high pressure at all. I called him back 3 or 4 days later to schedule the work. He called me back and said it would be 7 to 14 days. On 4/25 shingles were delivered and roof was to be put on 4/26. Just after shingles were delivered it started raining. Dave called and ask if it was okay to do it on Sunday. I said that was fine. How many roofers can you get to work on a Sunday. I liked the personality of the owner Dave. He explained his crew had been with him 8 yrs. He explained everything he was going to do and why. I would use him again. They even covered all the bushes in the yard to keep them from getting damaged. They also ran a magnetic device around the yard to pick up nails.

Dave and his crew were on time and completed the work quickly and well. They cleaned up the mess too. Dave followed up on the success of fixing the leak.

My sister hired this company to come out and replace her roof. They were fair with the price and did quality work. I will recommend this company to everyone.

Dave was great - we found him on Angie's list and called because of his outstanding reviews. We prefer small local companies bc we usually deal directly with the owner throughout the process and that was the case w Dave at Preferred Roofing. He took my call, came out and inspected our roof. Dave was honest in letting us know that our roof looked good and the small leak was due to 4 small holes left behind when we had an old satellite removed. The holes did not get filled when it was removed! Dave filled in the holes and tightened some lose nails for our gutters. We've had some strong rain since and no more leaking! When we do need a new roof, we will be calling Preferred Roofing!

I left a rating on October 23rd that was not complementary. Dave reached out to immediately find a solution to my problem. His actions and prompt attention to correct any issues with regards to timeliness or commitment to customer service has completely changed my view of the company. Dave indicated his integrity and reputation are very important to him. Based on my experience i believe he demonstrated the importance of those values with his work on my project. I would recommend Preferred as a company and Dave as owner for future work, they will be at the top of my list for future needs.
