The owner has great communication with you throughout the process and his crew is fast and efficient and they even cleaned everything up including all the nails so you don’t have to worry about getting flat tires or stepping in one. Dave , the owner, was very hands-on with this job. He showed up a couple hours into the work and when the job ran long, Dave made sure to check in and make sure everything was on track. Preferred roofing- Dave Zier. Let me first start off by saying how wonderful Dave and his crew did. They were very thorough, I knew little to nothing about roofing or siding. Dave sat down with me and went over everything. Dave’s crew was very meticulous about guarding my garden next to my house. He also made sure that everything was in a clean, professional manner and all the trash and nails were picked up. I highly recommend preferred roofing if I ever need a roof again I will definitely be calling Dave.

Excellent! Referred by a neighbor. Dave the owner was involved from the beginning, joining the insurance adjuster for inspection; negotiating with insurance company throughout, and providing great communication during the process.

The old roof had more layers on it than it should have, so it had to be removed. After it was removed, the decking underneath it had holes and looked like Marion County roads. They replaced the decking that needed it and installed the new roof, gutters and gutter covers. They covered the bushes around the house and cleaned up very well as they went. I am very satisfied with the quality of work that was done. My neighbors on both sides were as well and are planning on contacting him when they're ready for a new roof also.

Dave responded promptly to the request for estimate. He looked at the condition of the roof and we discussed options. He got the estimate to me when he said he would and kept in contact for scheduling. The crew was amazing! They started work at 6:30 on Friday and worked hard until 8 that night, then started at 7 Saturday and worked until it was finished. The house had many layers of shingles and the decking had obvious patches and holes big enough for feet to go through. Dave sent photos as they worked. They replaced the decking that was needed and I now have a solidly built roof. The gutters and gutter filters look nice, function well and will keep me from having to be on a ladder cleaning 4 times a year. Very professional from start to finish.
