I highly recommend these guys!!! Dave’s crew did a remarkable job. The original roof leaked, and come to fine out they didn’t even put in ice and water shield or drip edges!!! The new roof looks great, the price was right, no trash in the yard, and they did a great job of picking up nails. I even had some rotted out wood they replaced. Next time I need a roof, I know who I’m calling.

I quoted 4 roofing companies and Dave was the only contractor that walked me through the entire process and explained all the materials he would use for my project. Exceptional company. The work was done promptly by Dave himself for no charge. They have done several repairs for me and have always responded quickly to my calls and have arrived when scheduled. They pay attention to details and the repairs have been done well. Overall, I have had great experiences working with them and will definitely use them in the future.

Great from start to finish. Dave was quick to come out and perform estimates while I was working with my insurance company to finish claim work, and was very communicative throughout the entire process. Dave's crew worked very quickly to first replace our roof while we waited for replacement siding to come in, and due to covid supply delays we had a stretch to wait in between the work. Throughout that time Dave ensured we were updated on the status of everything. I was never passed over to different people and worked with him the entire time. He stands by his work and does a great job, and came out quickly to resolve some of the small issues that arose after work was completed. I have since recommended his company to my in-laws to have their roof replaced as well and would wholly recommend Preferred to others.

Our communication with owner Dave Zier regarding this project was timely, informative, and thorough. He exhibited concern for our home and plantings and took measures to protect both. He was also on site frequently, checking progress and trouble shooting as needed throughout the day. The crew arrived on time and were remarkably efficient in completing the work quickly and professionally. They were friendly and as quiet as roofers can be, even washing our eight skylights before leaving!! The results look great!

Dave Zier and Preferred Roofing did an excellent job of replacing our roof after it was damaged in a hail storm. (We dreaded the process because we recently installed new landscaping around the house.) He and his crew took great care of the landscaping, installed new hail-resistant shingles, mediated with the insurance company and was on site each day to supervise. We are very happy with the results.

Very well! Dave communicated constantly with us prior to and during the job. Dave’s Crew is the best! They showed up early and worked until early evening to finish in one day. They cleaned up so well you’d never know they had been here. Dave was onsite many times throughout the day to check on progress and upon completion, walked around the entire house with us to inspect it and make sure we were satisfied. We needed some screens repaired and Dave coordinated their repair. We also had a damaged piece of trim that Dave repaired. In order to repair it, he needed to color match the paint so off to the paint store he went. In addition, since he had the paint handy, Dave touched up our mailbox post! Definitely over and above. We had a concern about a gutter and rain water drainage after the roof replacement. Dave was here in less than 24 hours to look at it and eventually had the gutter adjusted for us. Excellent follow up. Highly recommend Preferred Roofing.

The owner was very courteous professional and informative! He responded very quickly to my request and was able to inspect my roof within 24 hours. Although I don’t need a roof at this time I will definitely make him my first choice if I should ever need a new roof!! I’ve seen his roofing job in my neighborhood and am quite impressed!

Dave replaced the roof a couple years ago. A large tree limb fell on the house and put holes in the roof. Dave came out the next day and fixed the roof. This is the reason I'm a loyal customer to preferred roofing. His crew is the best and they care about their customers. Thanks Dave!
