Mathew Appliance Repair

Called after 6 pm on a Friday, Mathew called back first thing Saturday and set up a time to come out on Monday. Mathew was very friendly and very responsive on such short notice. Mathew came out and replaced two belts and balanced the washer. Parts were around $50 and labor was $75. He also gave us a $10 Angie's List discount. Very quick and very effective. Would call again with confidence.

My refrigerator/freezer stopped working. I was out of town and did not realize it for a couple of days. By the time I did, all my food was room temperature. I found Matthew in Angie's List and hired them because they agreed to come in a few hours. The man was great. He was polite, professional and explained everything to me. He got the refrigerator working temporarily until he could come back on Monday with the right part. I felt his charge was very reasonable for two trips and parts. I would defintely use them again.

Unbelievably positive experience. Called and left a message just barely after 6:00 AM, knowing that no one would answer. John called back within 20 minutes and had set up to come out and do the repair. My wife could not compliment John enough on his manners, professionalism, and even his personality. Well done!

I had opened up washer, and decided it was to much work. Called Mathew Appliance repair. On the phone he mentioned that he would charge "for putting it back together, so they could test." I told them I would put it back together. Person arrived. Took the washing machine apart (with a lot of noise, and plastic pieces being broken off.) Then put it back together. Tested, found that a plastic tube broke off into bin, removed tube, said that a new tube would need to be ordered, probably the whole shield. Took two plastic hooks and proceeded to tell me I dented several parts and he would "have to be replace" as well. I let him go. Then went to sears hardware got a tube repair kit, fixed the tube, put the washer together. It has been running for two weeks. I asked Mathew Appliance to return the pieces he took (two plastic pieces from the back of console) but so far they have not been returned. Originally quoted $45, price went to 75 for no reason. Overall they were very condescending.

Mr. Matthew was prompt, able to find the problem within minutes of his arrival and repaired my refrigerator within an appropriate timeframe.

John went out of his way to fit us in his schedule at the last minute and did a great job. Also gave us good advise on purchasing the new washer and what to look for when we went shopping for it. Went above and beyond. Very good.

John (owner) actually came to fix our washer first, did that, and while in our kitchen, noticed the panel was dimming on double-oven. We're new to the house and were just trying to figure out what was wrong with it. He said he could order the part, and offered a suggestion on the locking mechanism. He called the next day to see if it worked. Very polite, friendly, reasonably priced.

I felt so comfortable with this guy that we left the front door of our house open and went to work. He let himself in....did the work, called on his cell as he was leaving and locking the door. The work was excellent and they are prompt and honest. Who can ask for more?!
