Excellent same day service. He gave good instructions on proper use of the washer so it won't have future problems.

John was very nice and professional and worked me into his schedule quickly. I would call him again in the future.

Mid-afternoon, I called John in a panic since my washer quit in the mid-wash cycle. He said he could be at my home before 5:00 p.m. that day. I believe John answers all of his calls himself. He answered my call and answered a couple of calls while he was at my home. Answering his calls didn't keep him from continuing to work. I had previously reviewed his Angie's List record and I was going to call him to repair my ice maker. He seemed to be the closest repair person available so I hoped he could come the same day. He removed his work shoes before entering my home. He asked for a towel to wipe up water that drained from the washing machine pump. He worked very quickly and efficiently. He showed me the broken agitator part and explained why it broke. He pointed out where the washer pump was leaking. He explained why the defrost drain froze and explained his "fix" that should prevent future problems. I believe he completed all work in a little over an hour.

It was simple. My ice maker was not working. I called him. We set an appointment. He came and did exactly what I asked for, when I asked for it, for a reasonable price.

Serviceman showed up on time, asked a few questions and discovered a nylon sock was trapped in the pump. Had one in truck and we were back in business in about 1/2 hour. Very expensive sock but great service at a reasonable price.

Based on Angie's List ratings and close proximity, I contacted Matthew Appliance repair and now have a company I'll rely on for all future appliance work! The President, John, was in the area when I called at 4:20 pm. He was at my place by 5:05 pm (since heavy snow was expected the next day!). By 5:45 pm he had everything repaired. John is a true professional and is extremely courteous and polite. He wiped down the cabinets before leaving and cleaned up the very insignificant dust that was left behind. I couldn't ask for better service!

John called me back right away and was at my house in two days. He gave me a true estimate and performed the work at the time arranged. Can't ask for more that that! And, I have ice!

I phoned Mr. Matthew and he arrived within a few hours. He was very pleasant and quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem. He had the required parts and tools with him. He explained everything he was doing in terms that I could understand and gave me pointers on how to efficiently use the machine. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

My washing machine quit agitating and wouldn't spin during a wash load. I called and Mr. Mathew tried to schedule for the next day. Due to work restrictions, I scheduled for the following day and he arrived just as expected. He was very helpful with tips on how to avoid (or at least delay) a recurrence of the problem. He was professional, efficient, and neat with his work. I would use again.

I called Mr. Mathew after 5 pm on a Thursday night. He was at our house at 8:30 am the next morning. He very quickly found what was wrong (a broken lid switch), replaced it after telling me how much the part would cost, and told me what we need to do to prevent breaking the new one. He was neatly groomed, uniformed, and able to communicate information easily. Later I found out he intended on taking the day off for personal reasons but came anyway so we wouldn't have to go the weekend without a washing machine. Needless to say, we are very pleased.

He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck, replaced it, and I was back in business. He also offered suggestions regarding general maintenance of my equipment and safety suggestions.

We had problems with the ice maker on our refrigerator shortly after buying the appliance, but the manufacturer claimed there was not a problem. Mathew Appliance Repair identified and made the repair for a very reasonable price and in a very professional manner. They did great work!

They came out very promptly and were very professional, they did a good job! They also offered some explanations on why things were happening, which I appreciated.

I emailed John on a Sunday, he responded at 8:30 am the following morning and set up an appointment time for that afternoon. He arrived on time. John is a very personable individual, explains what is necessary and advises the cost of the service. He is very efficient and had both washer and dryer up and running in less than an hour.

I left my keys and went to work. I got call at work after he had watched the oven for an hour. The store bought thermometers I had inside apparently were off more than the actual temperature of the oven. He re-calibrated. He was very conscience of doing the least expensive approach first. For my dishwasher, he explained the amount of soap I was using was probably causing my problems. He explained what to do to get rid of excess build up and how to do run the dishwasher to perform the best.

Mr. Matthew came by the same day I called and had the freezer repaired within half an hour. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing.

I was quite surprised that he was here the next day. He was very pleasant to have around.

Found the vendor on Angie's List. Called and he came within the hour. He showed me what was wrong with my old unit. He made a short trip for a new unit he came back and replaced it. From time of call till he was done was around 1 hour. Thanks, Angie's List.

Mr. Mathews said the problem was either the belt or the motor. It was my decision to replace the belt. The replacement belt was not the manufacturers specified part which may be the reason it isn't spinning again after only a few washings or it could be the motor. That was a chance I personally took. He was respectful, clean, neat, and removed his shoes at the door. I was a bit taken back by the price considering the work done and the amount of time spent, but had nothing to compare it to. He also reattached my dryer vent that had come undone.

Mr. Mathew arrived in the time block he stated he would. I called him in the morning, spoke directly with him, he stated he could come out same day and he did. Very polite and pleasant to speak with. He was extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming with the potential causes of the problem. He diagnosed it and had the parts he needed to complete repair. Very reasonable repair cost. Was efficient and clean.

He was very professional and I called him that evening and he returned my call promptly the next morning and came over to fix my icemaker. He was quick, nice and the icemaker is working great!

He is a VERY nice man and had wonderful advice. THEY ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
