John is always reliable and very knowledgeable. He repaired my refrigerator when it had problems. Now he is repairing my dryer. He works very efficiently and is reasonable in repair cost. John is my first choice to call for repairs.

Mathew showed up on time, but the service provided was subpar to say the least. Before getting into the details, I just feel like he couldn’t have cared less about getting me a solution, and when I tried to ask for advice on what to do, he didn’t try to help me. I went in understanding there was a service fee and then $1 a minute — but Mathew did little more than unscrew the back of my fridge, look in it, and tell me everything looked fine and normal and that “anyone would have a hard time figuring out an intermittent sound”. He adjusted the level on the front of the fridge and it still was making rattle noises. I asked him what we could do, was there anything that could be done? He told me that all the screws are tight and that’s just the paneling making noise, and then he more or less shrugged and said (loosely quoting) ‘I don’t think there is a problem, the fridge is working fine.’ Then he charged me $68.50 for adjusting the levels on my fridge. The frustrating part is that after he left I opened the back of my fridge and found a metal pan, that was sitting loosely, and I secured it, and now the rattle is gone. Maybe I had a one off bad experience, but I would not recommend based on this experience.

Diagnosed the problem on the first visit, made an appointment to complete the work, showed up on time and fixed it right the first time. Very professional.

I told this man when I called him that my icemaker was clogged up and that we had cleaned it out several times but it is still clogging up. He told me over the phone that it was probably not clogged up but that the ice maker was not working and he ordered an ice maker. However, when he got here he said that nothing was wrong and it was just clogged up and said the icemaker was working correctly and he saw nothing wrong with it and to just try using only the cube setting for 2 weeks. He charged us $68.50 to do nothing and left after telling my husband that our wires must have gotten crossed about the issue. He wrote "dispenser clogged up" on the receipt as I had originally told him. I will never call him again.

He did an excellent, thorough job. We will definitely hire him again if we have future appliance repair needs.

Great. Called Mathew Appliance. John called back within the hour. Came the next morning and found that the drain line was clogged. Cleaned the drain line and all was fixed. No further condensation or collection of water inside the refrigerator! Mathew Appliance was time, quick, professional, respectful of property, very skilled, friendly. I am beyond pleased with the service Mathew Appliance provides as well as their quick response. (I might add that this refrigerator is 37 years old)

Mathew Appliance Repair called me in advance to schedule. Arrived on time. Had all the parts with him. Fixed all the issues with my washing machine within 30 minutes. Professional and informative about my Whirlpool Top Load Washing Machine.

He came out, diagnosed the problem, then researched what was needed and purchased the part. He immediately installed it as soon as the part was delivered.

Quick and less expensive than I expected. Much better alternative than buying a new freezer!

Repair went perfectly. I only wish we had discovered this fix (to a known design flaw) earlier. John replaced the clogged drain grommet with the P-trap kit that Whirlpool now sells to fix the issue of the drain pan in the defroster at rear of freezer. He also thawed and removed all ice from the defroster. We've had Sears (it's a Kenmore unit) repair people out 3x to look at the problem. NONE of them ever told us this kit had been produced that would fix the problem. We went from chipping a sheet of ice out of the floor of the freezer once a week to having absolutely no ice forming. He was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. Would absolutely hire him again.

I've hired Mathew Appliance repair twice and have been pleased both times.

John has reliably serviced our appliances for probably 10 years, must recently by replacing the latch mechanism on our washing machine. He's reliable, knowledgeable, fairly priced and communicates well. Whenever we have an issue, we just call John and he takes care of it. Highly recommend.

Great. Called and left a non-emergency voice mail around 6pm the night it happened. Got a return call the next morning at 7:45am and he was at my home by 9:30am to fix the problem. After removing the back panel, he found it was just a piece of paper (recipe) caught in the fan. (the paper had fallen off a magnet on the fridge). I was back in business by 10:00am. (This was a GE Refrigerator purchased 7-31-79) John is very knowledgeable on all types of appliances, even the OLD ones. Very courteous, neat and respectful of property. Great response time and broad repair abilities.

They were able to come out the same day I called to repair my broken dryer. He was prompt, polite and knowledgeable.

Great. He was able to put in a temporary fix until the new part came in the following week. The temporary fix allowed to do the laundry just as normal. When the new part came in, it was installed and the washer is operating like new. Responsive, knowledgeable, respectful of property, on time, friendly.

Great - as luck would have it, there was an opening for the morning that I called. He came out, tightened the paddle leg and checked the others. Also he adjusted the felt seal on the dryer that was coming loose. I couldn't be happier! Great to have more options for appliance repair in Carmel. Very responsive, knowledgeable, respectful of property, quick and neat.
