Description of Work: Two parts were bad due to overheating from a clogged dryer vent. Fixed parts, cleaned up and recommended another Angie's List company to clean out the vent. Advised that damage would occur again if the vent was left clogged. Very professional and friendly. Thanks!

Description of Work: John Mathew showed up in less than two hours. Although he found that repair was not necessary on my washing machine he explained why it wasn't spinning. I was very pleased with the fact he came the same day, he didn't make unnecessary repairs and made helpful suggestions. The service was outstanding.

Description of Work: John told me he would be here between 1 and 3pm. He said he would call when he was on the way and did just that. In fact he came earlier than 1pm but called and that was A-OK with me! John took the top off the dryer and investigated the cause of the problem. He found that it was none of the wiring in there. He then found the door switch was faulty and how he could tell, then reported that to me. He told me all the prices of everything up front and was efficient. John also gave me some advice about troubleshooting potential problems in the future, such as vent line blockage or partial blockage.

Description of Work: Did a good job. Came out the day I called (dryer has stopped working). Helped define the problem - I had to clean out the ductwork. He came back the next morning and replaced the high temp fuse. Works fine now. Will call him if I have future work on appliances.
