Indianapolis Soft Water Service

The experience was painless. When I called, Ben asked me several questions so that he could then recommend which water softeners we should consider. We chose one and it was installed on a date that was convenient for us. The installation went smoothly. I felt comfortable asking Ben questions about the water softener and different salts. Our water is great now and it is so nice to not have water spots on the dishes or on the sinks and faucets and to have soft hair that isn't misbehaving! I did not price-shop because I have worked with this company before and knew that their work is good. It's a large chunk of money to shell out, but the quality product and service are worth it.

I had the water outside of my home turned off and when I came home I had the water turned back on and water was coming out of the water softener. It seems as if my water softener wasn't properly plumbed to begin with. So they sent a guy out to re-plumb the water softener properly and didn't charge me for it. This is a good company and they seem to stand behind their work.

They took the old and installed the new. Added the salt. Wonderful experience. All the people are wonderful. Out to please you.

No significant problems encountered, they cleaned up well, even volunteered to carry several bags of salt I had in garage down to the basement for future use.

Noblesville Soft Water comes every other month, they tell me their scheduled date a year in advance, they have our garage door code and proof. It's magic. There is salt in the softener for about $12-$15 a month, more than I would have had to pay for it myself. We don't even have to be at home. Both my husband and I have problems with our shoulders, so it was difficult for us to do it, anyway. Once, a few years ago, the delivery guy couldn't get our garage code to work because he kept putting the wrong code. So, they had to come the next day with our salt. And they didn't charge us for that delivery.

Excellent. Had to alter some of the plumbing to make the appropriate connections available. Was quite a tight fit to reach the connections but they got the job done. Water conditioner has made an extremely noticeable improvement in the quality of the water and the dishes now sparkle right out of the dishwasher.

Went pretty well. Adam was our technician and it took a while, but the plumber was there at the same time so I was hoping that would be beneficial. System leaked afterward, so Tracy came out and fixed it right away. We had asked for Tracy to be our installer from the beginning because in our experience she can always be counted on to perform the work correctly. If you don't get Tracy, she's probably going to end up coming out to "fix" someone else's work anyway. Do yourself a favor and just try to schedule with her so it can be done right the first time. A major reason we went with this company again in our new home is because we have had excellent experiences with Tracy.

After comparing prices from several Companies on Angie's List, I contacted Indy Soft Water Service, and their prices were generally the same. They installed a new soft water system in our newly-constructed home. Based on great service they had provided at our former home, I selected them to install a new water softener system. The tech. arrived on time, was courteous, and completed the installation in a timely fashion. They honored an Angie's List coupon, saving me $150! Two weeks later, I received a hand-written 'Thank You' card for our business! Very nice touch. I highly recommend this Company.

Overall, I am pleased with the equipment that I purchased. I love having the soft water and the reverse osmosis (RO) drinking water is very convenient. We had some problems as they installed the water softener system. There was a part that was leaking water at first, and it wasn't until I questioned it that the installer noticed it and realized that it was broken. Additionally, the RO system leaked badly the first night. It turned out that we have a very new type of plumbing in our home (not copper pipes) and the installer had never worked with that before for an RO system. They ended up using the wrong type of valve. They did come out and fix it the next day, but only came out after I insisted--which took some prompting on my end. Other than that, the experience was a smooth one. I have a feeling that the main tech was in training and that these problems aren't typical.

Right on time and very professional. Excellent work. The installer is a real asset to the company.

After the install, I found that I didn't have much water pressure. Apparently the tech didn't open the water main all of the way so they opened it, checked everything and suggested I clean the faucet aerators because they had lime build up. The next morning, the toilets were not working well so I called and they came right out. They cleaned everything and explained the softener didn't regenerate (cycle through) as it should have the night before. They apologized that we were having so many problems and offered to come out Monday to verify the problem was fixed. The gentleman who sold the softener came out with the tech and tried getting the old unit working. The salesman was dressed very nicely, yet he was on his hands and knees trying to clear the hose to the toilet and the water sprayed out on his clothes. They finally decided to replace the whole unit. It was unfortunate that there were so many problems, but they went above and beyond and even gave me 100 lbs of salt. Great service.

I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY WERE EASY TO WORK WITH AND FOLLOWED UP WELL. THERE WERE SOME INSTALLATION PROBLEMS (NOT THEIR FAULT) BECAUSE OF THE DRAIN AND THEY MADE SURE THAT WAS PROPERLY INSTALLED (THEY HAD TO MAKE A FEW TRIPS WHILE A PLUMBER FIXED THE ISSUES). APPROXIMATE COST INCLUDES MATERIALS.

WE NEVER HAD EXPERIENCES WITH WATER SOFTENERS. WE CALLED ISWS AND ASKED FOR SOMEONE TO COME CHECK OUR WATER SOFTENER IF IT IS WORKING AND TEACH US HOW IT WORKS AS THE CONTAINER WAS EMPTY. THE GUY WE SPOKE TO ON THE PHONE (THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS) WAS VERY HELPFUL, KIND AND PATIENT. HE CONTACTED US VIA E-MAIL WITH MORE INFORMATION ON THE WATER SOFTENER. WE MET TRACY WHO CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND DID HER JOB WELL. SHE WAS PATIENT, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE TOOK HER TIME TO EXPLAIN EACH PARTS OF THE DEVICE, THEIR PURPOSES AND HOW THE WHOLE THING WORK. SHE MADE SUGGESTIONS ON WHICH SALTS WE SHOULD USE. WE FELT BETTER KNOWING WHAT TO DO WITH OUR WATER SOFTENER, THANKS TO TRACY. WE HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. GOOD, QUALITY SERVICE.

THE SERVICE FOLKS CAME RIGHT OUT WHEN WE CALLED. IT TOOK A FEW TRIPS TO ASSESS THE PROBLEM ACCURATELY. WE SEEMED TO HAVE AIR IN THE LINES WHEN THE SOFTENER RAN AND THE TIMING OF THE CYCLE VARIED. EVENTUALLY, A WOMAN CAME TO FIX IT AND SHE GOT IT RIGHT AWAY! THEY ONLY CHARGED US FOR THE INITIAL VISIT - THEY COVERED COSTS FOR PARTS AND LABOR.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND LAID BACK.

VERY GOOD COMPANY. NO SALES PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. PERSON WHO INSTALLS SYSTEM ALSO DOES THE ''SALES'' PITCH (WHICH WAS VERY LOW KEY). SYSTEM WORKS GREAT. INSTALLED WITHIN ONE DAY OF CALLING FOR ESTIMATE. ALSO GAVE 12 MONTHS SAME AS CASH. BRAVO!!!!

THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN, LORI, WAS WONDERFUL. SHE WORKED VERY HARD TO RESOLVE OUR PROBLEM, AND WAS IN CONSTANT CONTACT UNTIL IT WAS RESOLVED. LORI WAS PUNCTUAL, RESPONSIVE, FRIENDLY, AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PROBLEM WAS A REAL HEAD-SCRATCHER FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED. AFTER MUCH TROUBLESHOOTING, AND SEVERAL CALLS, THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WHILE IT DID TAKE SEVERAL CALLS, CONSIDERING THE CIRCUMSTANCES, I THINK THEY DID A GREAT JOB! THEY WERE WILLING TO WORK AROUND OUR BUSY SCHEDULE, BROUGHT IN A CERTIFIED PLUMBER TO INSPECT THE SYSTEM FOR PROBLEMS, AND FINALLY, ONCE THE REAL CULPRIT WAS IDENTIFIED AND ELIMINATED, QUICKLY RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. GREAT!

THE OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE DESCRIBING THE PROBABLE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM, AND OFFERING GOOD SUGGESTIONS TO RUN THE SOFTENER TO GET GOOD PERFORMANCE AND SAVE SALT.

THEY HAVE REASONABLE PRICES AND THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO ADJUST MY DELIVERY SCHEDULE TO MEET MY VACATION NEEDS, ETC.

THE DELIVERY MAN, WILSON, ARRIVED ON TIME. HE WAS CLEAN, POLITE, FRIENDLY & TALKATIVE. INITIALLY, HIS 6FT PLUS HT & BEARD COULD BE INTIMIDATING. BUT, HE'S A SINCERE, HARD-WORKING, WONDERFUL "COUNTRY" MAN.

THEY CALLED TO RESCHEDULE OUR ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT, BECAUSE THEY HAD ORDERED PARTS FOR OUR SOFTENER BASED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM I HAD GIVEN THEM AND THE PARTS WERE NOT IN ON THE DAY OF THE APPT. THEY WERE PROMPT FOR THE RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT AND REPLACED THE ROTOR AND SEALS ON THE SOFTENER. WE HAD TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPT. WITH THEM TO HAVE THEM CLEAN OUT THE TANK, SINCE IT REQUIRED EXTENSIVE WORK. THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP PROMPTLY FOR THAT APPT. AS WELL AND DID A SUPER JOB CLEANING THE SALT OUT OF THE TANK. THE JOB HE DID WAS WELL-WORTH THE PER-HOUR RATE CHARGED FOR THIS TASK. OUR HOUSE NOW HAS WONDERFUL SOFTENED WATER AND SPOTLESS DISHES! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WILL USE THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, ETC. THEY HONORED THEIR DISCOUNT FOR ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS.
