Jay did a great job. He's always prompt and professional, and kept the work area clean. He could answer all our questions. He's very focused, and put in a lot of time without unnecessary breaks, phone calls etc. He had great suggestions for problem areas, and we are delighted with the results.

He is very professional, did excellent work, and his prices are very reasonable.

He is great. He stays busy. He is honest and trustworthy. He will never give you one price and charge you something else. At times, he's charged less than the estimate. He is very thorough and always does the job right. His last name decribes him perfectly, "Fairman". The price shown is for the attic floor and included materials.

He did a good job. He came twice. The first time was 3 months ago to do some mechanical repairs and I spent about $300. The second time was about 2 months ago to do the plastering and I spent about $100. He is very knowledgeable. He has varied expertise in handling most of the jobs. He does most things; electrical, carpentry and mechanical. He does everything other than roofing. His prices are reasonable. He always shows up on time. He leaves things better than when he arrived.

Things went very well and I am satisfied. They did a good job and coordinated well with the painter. I would highly recommend.

I first contacted Jay in December because rod in closet was looking like it was going to break. He remembered he had done work here before and came out within a day or two to replace rod in our closet. He said he would call me about the other small repairs in Jan. Because he was pretty busy. We did not hook up again until April. He is worth waiting for. He came back several times to check plaster and do sanding. I did not have to pay him until he was done with everything.

Excellence is Jay's middle name. I have used him many times and I have never been disappointed. This man can fix anything or will tell you it's time to replace it if he thinks it's in your best interest. The best part is that he cleans up after himself. It sometimes takes him awhile to return your call and appointments may be several weeks away, but it is easy to see why he is so busy. He is well worth the wait. He charges by the hour and doesn't take phone calls from other customers while he is on my nickle. I appreciate that!

Jay showed up on time and did the work in a timely fashion. Jay is a very pleasant individual that takes pride in his work and is quite versatile. Jay spent about 6 hours at our house doing various jobs, it is nice to have just one person come and take care of all your "honey-do" lists.

The price above is per hour. He was punctual, and worked very fast. I wish he would have asked me if I wanted to clean the glass before he put it all back together because I would have cleaned it then. I will use him again.

Jay Fairman is very prompt and responsive to our requests. He immediately called us back and set up time, at our convenience, to inspect the situation. He then researched various options (eg wood, steel, aluminum) to replace our deteriorating ladder to our attic along with his estimate of how much it would cost to replace the ladder. He will perform the work in the future.

It took a little bit of time to hear back from Jay, however, we ended up with the right person for the job. Jay is busy because he is good. We explained what we wanted in the kitchen and he provided a written estimate within a reasonable time frame. We were not in a hurry for the job to be completed and had to wait about 6 weeks before his schedule would permit. He completed the job on-time, worked many hours a day, always left the workspace clean when he left each day and did a quality job.

Mr. Fairman returned my initial phone call, we went over the details, he gave me a quote over the phone. I returned his call a few days later and we scheduled a date for the install approx 1 week out. He arrived on time and had purchased the disposal for me, which we had previously discussed. He did a great job and was very tidy. I will definitely call him again for my projects.

We recently did an $80,000 kitchen remodel, and hiring Jay Fairman was the second best decision we made in the project. (The best decision was hiring the kitchen designer who recommended Jay and others.) Jay is listed as a handyman, but he really was more like the general contractor for our project. He did much of the tear out and general electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work himself, and worked with the cabinet builder, tile guy, painter, etc., to give us a great finished product. His judgment and attention to detail are excellent, and he s a super guy who is a pleasure to work with. I recommend him without reservation.

He was very friendly when he was there working for me. He was very professional about the job. He had showed up on time to do the work. He had cleaned up everything when he was done.

Jay was very polite and personable. He was very prompt in returning my phone call and arriving at my home to complete the work. He really did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Handyman. He performed the work quickly, charged exactly what we had agreed on, cleaned up the work area very nicely and was a true pleasure to talk with.

As with each door, he measured, and fit the door to the frame, by cutting, and prepared by sanding and clear sealing the door(s). He installed all hardware, and bought supplies that were needed, (weatherstripping, new lock part) to insure a proper fit. As with the other doors he hung a year ago, he did excellent work, and was very pleasant and easy to work with. I would recommend him highly for any type of handyman work, and will definitely use him again in the future.

He was very professional and courteous. He came when he said he would. He fixed the gate even though it wasn't part of the scheduled work to be done.

I left two voice mails for him to return my call. I never heard back from him.

Jay went in and fixed the pipe and was very professional. He did an outstanding job and I will definitely use him in the future for other repairs. I don't recall the exact cost but it was $100 or less.
