+ -1 moreMy original light had been hit by a lawnmower and was laying on the ground. I called Jay who said his schedule is full but he could get to me in a few weeks. Unbeknownst to me, Jay came out and installed a temporary light until he could return to do the work. What a super person. This was above and beyond. When Jay was able to complete the work, he did a great job. I have a very high opinion of him. I would use Eagle Handyman Service again and recommend his service.
Description of Work: He repaired and replaced the dawn to dust overnight light.

Description of Work: 1945 home with over 30 year old stainless steel sinks & countertops, kitchen sink faucet needed to be replaced-- turned out currently available kitchen faucets way too large for holes in counter, could have been an expensive long project but Jay Fairman as always came through and figured it out and put in the effort to make it work. Best Handyman EVER, always goes the extra mile & is a total professional.

He calls back after we leave a message for him as soon as he can. Although he is very busy, he makes sure that even small jobs are done well and that all customers are important. We have used Jay for various jobs over the last 20 years and he has done excellent work everytime.
Description of Work: He installed a new lamppost in the front yard and two new outdoor lights by the front door.

Description of Work: Jay replaced a fan, and balanced another one, and has done other handyman type stuff for us. Very pleasant personality, quick, professional, timely and clear on what to do. i plan to get a bigger list together for the next visit. We used Jay over a year ago as well for similar stuff. Great work both times. Time and cost both very reasonable and he shows up when he says he will. * I see the negative review from someone where they took a tone incorrectly on the phone. Think it's a bit harsh to grade so low from a phone call from him simply stating it was something he didn't do and that is the basis of the grade. Fortunately, Jay has plenty of wonderful reviews to offset that one.

Well, I called him back and left another message saying that was fine, but I had other work as well, and he's never returned the call. Seems to me if he's that unhappy about being asked to do a small painting job, he should say he doesn't do that on his listing......
Description of Work: I called to see if he could do some handy services around my house, starting specifically with the removal of carpet glue on my concrete porch, then possibly painting it. In addition, I had several other small jobs.

Description of Work: Jay installed french doors for us to our office in an existing opening. The doors needed to be cut to fit and Jay performed all of the finishing work (minus painting) to frame in the doors.

+ -1 moreJay took out the old door, which included removing the molding and the storm door. He replaced the front door with a new door, made sure it was balanced and hung correctly. Installed both locks and then replaced the existing storm door. He put back the surrounding molding. He worked quickly and professionally. He was neat and careful of the work area. We are very pleased with his work.

+ -1 moreIt all went well. The one screen panel had been pulled away from the wood by a grandchild. Jay got new screen material that matched and replaced the one panel. The sump pump was old so we wanted it replaced. Jay gave suggestions on kind and model to get that would be most effective and best price. He installed the new sump pumps. He came back later at no extra charge to make sure they piping was sealed and all ran well. Jay is very professional, honest and a pleasure to work with. We have used him for many projects around the house for over 15 years and he has done an excellent job every time.
Description of Work: Replaced existing sump pump with a new primary pump and battery backup pump. Replaced one screen panel on porch.

Description of Work: After I had my bathroom painted, Jay came and installed towel bar, toilet paper holder, mirror and new light fixture. Also had to a repair to the drywall and smoth out other places. In order to complete this, he had to return 3 times. Did a great job as Jay always does.
