Never were we hostile, unprofessional, nor have a rigid attitude. We showed up to (Member Name Removed) home in middle Dec, 2016, quoted a sofa and chair, she said she would get back to us, she called Jan 28, 2017, she had another upholsterer do her chair and she did not like it. We told her because someone else do the chair we no longer have the original pattern of the chair to make it the original way it was but we could modify iy to the best of our ability, but it would not be the same, and she was fine with that. We delivered chair 3 weeks later, she did not like it. We explained again, we did not get the chair in original condition so we could not put back in original style as again the other upholster did not do the chair the same as original way so we had nothing to go by. We took the chair back and said we would redo with the changes she told us. We then called to say we had ordered more fabric, and we were in the process of finishing the changes she requested and she left us a message stating she wanted different fabric. We told her no on the different fabric, that we were just fixing changes that she told us when we delivered as to what was original when she gave to other upholsterer. We will not accept giving back $400 as that was the cost of the fabric. We are willing to give her the chair and we can submit pictures of the professional job they are now getting for FREE! We did not contract the complaint and he was not even there when we met with (Member Name Removed) and gave estimate and talked about the condition of the chair and what we would be able to do without seeing and stripping the original fabric of the chair.
