Connecting to the internet was sporadic. The ISP said everything looked good on their end. Computer Troubleshooters cleaned up my machine and could not find anything. Finally, the ISP sent somebody to take a look and found that the problem was their modem.

Initial repairs replaced a failing hard drive. This repair updated a failing Windows Mail client which was locking up. It's much better now although I cannot forward most images from email I receive.

OK I really messed up my laptop by deleting all my files BY ACCIDENT == i was beside myself .. he was calm & stayed til 6:45 until i was ready to roll .. even followed up with an email the next morning asking if i was still good to go......ANYWAY THEY WENT ABOVE & BEYOND .. I am the worst when it comes to "pressing the wrong keys & crashing laptops" thankfully they are close to my office =]

We had an issue with our computer that looked like a potential virus but in the end was related to a file referencing problem. Experience was great, everyone professional and trustworthy. They let me know each step of the process and given options on any issues as to how I would like to proceed - totally up to me. The problem I was experiencing was a wireless mouse that had gone "bad", Justin advised me to try it out on another PC to verify - I took it to work and sure enough I had the same problems. Thankfully I did not have any viruses as I had originally thought. Decided to get the tuneup and now my PC seems to run faster. I was without my PC for only a few days which was terrific. I liked that I had the option to drop off the PC or have an in house service call. He talked me through the options, and twice explained that not using his services would be a significantly lower cost by having me contact the company directly. I understood, but simply didn't want the hassle of calling a toll free number and going through voice menu options. He kept me up to date with the repair, and I am back on-line, and getting my work done.

His prices are competitive. His service guys are great to work with. I usually have to drop off my computers for him to do the work and it takes about 4-5 days to get it back. The computer runs great after wards and he stands by his work.

They called and told me that it crashed couple times and told me it was due some other programs. I told them I could handle it myself. Which told me that they are really good people. Willing to do whatever you need but if you do not want it no problem and no pressure. I would recommend them to anyone who asked. Anyone I know who needs help with their computer I will tell them where to go! These guys are good!

very well, my pc suddenly would not turn on; i dropped the CPU at their office, they called me back within an hour to let me know the problem and sent me an email to authorize the work; they contacted me a bit later to advise the replacement power supply would not fit so did i want them to use one that would which could cost a bit more, and i said yes; they requested if i would like a pc tune up as well, and I authorized that so they did some clean up and removed some programs from start up that didn't need to be there to improve speed. The next day they called to let me know it was all done. I am very happy now because i was afraid it was dead, and I appreciate their keeping me informed at every step and the quick service. The 2 gentlemen who assisted me were very professional and polite. My PC turns on now!

The technician was very personable and helpful. He diagnosed the issues and fixed them to my full satisfaction. It required approximately a half-hour of a visit to my house. He ensured that all my wireless devices were working properly and made recommendations to follow-up on security software.

Job was done promptly and as requested. When boot-up seemed slower that previous status they kept unit overnight and performed additional tests and tune-ups. When notified the following day for pick up the laptop performed as desired. The laptop has continued to function as desired since the repair. Their work was fine. That was a bit of a misunderstanding. I thought I was getting a coupon for a visit to their shop but it actually was for a home visit, they come to our house. It was fine, I mean, they discounted the amount I spent on it. So it was no big deal but there was a misunderstanding.

My computer began crashing 6/10/2013. Attempts to restore it to a previous date were unsuccessful. Using Angies List to locate this service I took my computer to Computer Troubleshooters of Carmel. I was promptly greeted and a service ticket was filled out and I described the symptoms as well as I could. I received a phone call that same afternoon reporting the results of diagnostics. A failing hard drive was confirmed and a plan of action to restore the computer was set. An excellent replacement hard drive of the same capacity was installed, programs and files copied from the failing drive were transferred to the new drive. A recent Internet Explorer 10 installation was also found to be buggy and that program deleted and replaced with another browser. It has taken two visits to iron out the computer thus far. I have confirmed the results of their troubleshooting and recovery and I am confident these people know what they're doing. My past experience as a field engineering manager dealing with Unix computers in a programming capacity allows me to filter "happy talk" from accurate information and I found their troubleshooting techniques, logic, and results to be equal to my expectations. I highly recommend them.

OMG, he actually FIXED IT!! I was having a networking issue for the past several weeks that was preventing me from logging into my company's application on our server. Not one, but TWO other "computer geeks" tried and failed to solve the problem (and still charged me for their time). Feras of Computer Troubleshooters predicted it would take an hour to fix my issue, going above my $59 "30 minutes of repair" deal by another $65 (he charges $130/hour) and was spot on. Within one hour, he fixed my issue, and I'm back to work. Priceless! Do not hesitate to hire this company.

I took our home computer tower into them on a Saturday. Justin was working. He had an answer to me within a couple of hours. We needed a new graphic video card. If we had the work done by them, the cost would have been over $200. Justin recommened that I check Best Buy for better prices. I was able to find the part for half the cost and did the installation myself. I am very impressed with Justin and this company. They truly were there to help me not to force a sale. Sadly, that isn't very common these days. This builds trust and customer loyalty. There was even a coupon for free diagonstics through Angie's List so we paid nothing. I will not hesitiate to return to them with further issues - I will recommend them to anyone I know experiencing computer issues.

Our family laptop was extremely slow and freezing up every 3 minutes. I stopped by CTC, explained the issues, and left the laptop with them for an in-shop diagnostic. They called me approximately 3 hours later and told me that my hard drive was shot. They then emailed me a full itemized proposal for repairs/parts, etc. I called them and talked through different options. They explained things very well so that it was easy to understand and make an informed (no pressure) decision. They replaced my hard drive and reinstalled windows, as well as started my back-up from my on-line provider. I picked up my computer the next afternoon. 24 hour turn-around!! Great service. Would recommend to friends/family, and will use again should need arise.

I had taken my laptop back to Apple to see why it was not turning on. I was told the ram in it was bad and since my computer was old, they did not carry the parts any longer. They also told me they would not be able to retrieve data I had on my computer. Apple recommended I purchase a new one. I passed on that idea and went home and searched on Angie's List for someone that did computer repair. I found Computer Troubleshooters and called. Justin answered my call and suggested I drop off my laptop. I dropped it off that evening and Justin told me that by 4pm he would call me back to let me know what issues my computer was having. Justin called as promised. Justin stated that my computer needed a new memory card and one with twice as much memory would be $62.00. I asked where he was ordering the card from and he said Apple. ( Wow, that was amazing since Apple said they did not have parts for my old laptop.) I picked my laptop the very next afternoon and it is running faster and better, plus I have all my data still on my computer. Thank you Justin!
