The work was performed in a day, and was ready on time when I went to pick it up. I actually showed up after they were already closed, but they allowed me to come in and pick up and pay anyway which was really nice. I have washed the jeans 3 or 4 times since then, and the hems show no signs of coming apart, so it is good quality. Overall, I am very happy.

Another companys staff referred me to Carmel Alterations for sizing. Went immediately to Carmel Alterations. I mentioned I was an Angies List member but nothing was said about any discounts. Told the cost would be $45.00. $20 for the top and $25 for the skirt.

I was very impressed with the work done on the corduroy pants - they fit perfectly after being altered (before I brought them in, they fit in the hips but there was a huge gap at the waist) and I could barely tell where the work had been done, i.e. it looked like it was straight off the rack. This is impressive because it only took her about 2 seconds to make the chalk marks on the pants when I tried them on at the first visit. The other repair (torn hem) was also done nicely. They were prompt and courteous and I would use them again.

Just perfect as usual. I always take my alterations to Carmel Alteration. They are busy so give them some time to complete the work. Very nice people.

Had no problems and they were easy to work with. I had to go in for one fitting to make sure everything was OK before making the final alterations, but they told me that from the beginning. The dress was ready on time for both the fitting and final pick up, even during prom season! They were easy to work with, and I've already referred a co-worker.
