Jennifer was very prompt and professional. She gave us great options for the different needs we had in all the rooms.They did a great job meeting our "move in" schedule. The installers did a wonderful job and cleaned their messes right away. They even came back a couple weeks later to adjust a couple shelves at no charge. The quality of their product is one of the best! We would definitely use California Closets again!!!

We were remodeling our master bedroom/bath closet area. Erin designed the closet and adjacent hallway space based upon a discussion of our needs. She was very responsive to my questions about modifying the space a bit. The installation process was very smooth. The installer did not have quite all of the trim pieces to complete the job that day, but we set up a time for him to return the following week. We are very pleased with the results and the increased utility of our space. The product is expensive, but is of high quality. Everyone that I came in contact with throughout the process was very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Upon moving to Carmel, my family was looking for a way to make our basement more of a 1 bedroom apartment, without having complete walls built. Upon first call to Erin at California Closets, she had plenty of ideas and was more than willing to show us some designs and the one that finally caught our eye! She was more than willing to take the time to walk through things, send us multiple modifications and allow us to be the ones that truely customized the final product. The installation by Brandon was 2nd to none!! From the moment he arrived with the team to the second he left, he made sure that what we had decided on was what he installed and it was in the exact location we desired. As always, when we realized some additional changes in location of items we wanted, Brandon was more than willing to accomodate us in making those changes. This experience is like none other in regards to working with an organization and after having them complete this one project, we signed on for a second the same day! Erin and Brandon make California Closets what they are with how they deal with their customers! Now I have to figure out another project to keep them busy and coming back and...at least I can say I'll have a high quality job completed with professionalism. What a great duo to have been your first impression of an Indianapolis business!

The designer came to our house to get a feel for what we needed/wanted and take measurements. Then she sat down at her laptop and produced the initial designs on the spot, which only took some minor tweaking. She had samples of the materials with her so I could see finishes and colors. They called to schedule the work at a time that was inconvenient. They immediately worked with us to find mutually satisfactory dates for tear out and installation. I especially appreciated that they offer the painting service so it is all coordinated in one place. I had obtained another estimate and California Closets was higher. When I indicated that that would weigh heavily on our decision of whom to hire, she worked with her superiors to meet the price of the competitor. Clearing out 32 years' worth of accumulated stuff from the closets was unpleasant, but the end result is terrific.

We had a general design in mind when we began to visit with different contractors to build it, but California Closet's Design Consultant, Erin, did a great job helping with the final design and made sure that no little detail was overlooked. We were trying to 'match' as much as possible to the existing kitchen fixtures and she guided us through the selection of materials patiently and enthusiastically. The quoted price was more than competitive with others we received and once we decided to proceed, the work was scheduled (about a two week turn around time).The installation crew was delayed a bit the morning they were to do the work, and we were impressed that they called to tell us they'd be a few minutes late. Brandon and Johnathan did a great job with the installation... professional yet very friendly and obviously know their job well.We're very satisfied with the result and would definitely use California Closets again for any similar type project.

I live in a older small home and have limited storage space. I decided to have my hall closet revamped to allow for double tier hanging as well as provide some shelf space. I had a wall to wall media center installed in my living room to allow storage as well as add something more decorative to my home. I am very pleased with the service as well as the product.

I was very happy. I had some problems and it seemed like it wasn't even, and the designer and the manager came out here and they fixed it. I am very happy with it now. It was an expert job. They gave me a discount on it.

Cressa did a great job designing the closet system based on a short conversation and rough drawings of what we wanted. Her first rendering is what we used without any revisions. This is very impressive and proved to me that she listened as we described what we were looking for and was spot on in her concept. We paid for half the cost up front and were scheduled for install. In less than 3 weeks the new closet system was installed in a few hours and was exactly what we wanted. The price was very reasonable and not much more than doing it yourself. The entire process was easy and professional.

We had shopped at all the stores in the Indianapolis area, and on-line, looking for a craft table, for my wife to scrapbook. My wife went into the California Closets location off 82nd street. Unfortunately, there are not many examples in the showroom. So, Erin scheduled a time to do a consultation with us, at our home. On November 21st, Erin came to our home, we purchased the system from her that day, and put 50% down. We also got a discount through Angie's List. On Dec 14th, the installers spent the entire morning installing the unit. So, from start to finish, it took around 3 1/2 weeks. The installers were great, very professional, very clean and very courteous on making sure they put down floor protectors and cleaned up after the install.

Cressa did a very good job of understanding our custom needs and translating them into a design. The installation teams were very flexible and pleasant during the projects. Cressa and the installation teams were always focused on customer satisfaction and accommodated all changes. We would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them again in the future.

3rd time we have used California closets this calendar year. Another stellar job! This time we had them do a closet for our daughter (20 months) and son (due in Nov) so they could share a room and split a closet. Completely changed all the junk sitting out in the center of the room. Susan even thought to make all the shelves, hanging spaces, and drawers even in numbers to prevent arguments in the future. Everything has a place and lot's of room to grow. As the kids get bigger their clothes will get longer. Susan designed the closet to be somewhat adjustable so i can have more shelving now and switch to more hanging in the future. Plenty of storage in a really awkward closet (very old house w/ uneven walls and painted paneling). She even thought to check the wall while measureing to make sure we weren't covering up any access panels to the bathroom on the backside. Even the light fixture in the closet she allowed enough room for the shelf underneath it to make sure it didn't get too hot if the kids leave the light on one day. We got exactly what we wanted and Mike did our installation who has been on all 3 jobs this year. Very clean install and wiped out all the drawers and shelves so it was move in ready. Very good people we will be back for bathrooms, kitchen, basement and more closets as time goes on. Also I will note the job they did for us in our living room has really held up in quality. The unit has a false panel with no knobs and as much as I handle it we don't have fingerprints or dirty marks at high traffic areas. My husbands closets are still doing great. Really happy with their products and services!

The designer and installers were all top notch professionals. They delivered exactly what was promised and on time. This product/service is not inexpensive, but well worth the investment.

A rep came out and spoke with us about our needs, measured the area and sent a detailed proposal with drawings the next day. We chose to come by the store to discuss further and select finishes (could have done at home, but wanted to see their models). The installer did an excellent job. It was raining, he diligently used rugs and took plastic protective sleeves on/off his shoes as he made several trips from van to house to carry everything in. He didn't track in a thing! As he was installing the unit, we had a request for a further change - wanted to reduce the top edge lip of the unit so there would be more walking around room. He went back to the shop and made the change, returned the same day and completed the install for no additional charge. After seeing the final quality of the unit, using it now for several months and the professionalism of the installer, we are very happy with the unit and felt the price was well worth it. We could have done something less expensive, but would have had an inferior product that we would expect to replace in a few years. This one will last many, many more.

They are wonderful. After they did the work it feels huge when it’s the same small space. I love it. They were great to work with, reasonable, and tidy. I am particular when it comes to people in my own home and they were tremendous. I would definitely recommend them and have them back if I needed something else done.
