Description of Work: I had some watch batteries replaced on 2 different occasions. They were even able to replace batteries in 2 watches that I had been told elsewhere would have to be sent in to the watch manufacture. The cost for those 2 watches was a little more but so worth it to not have to hassle with sending them in for service.

Description of Work: Their watch repairer is putting a new movement into a watch that I prize. I was quoted $250.00 by Bulova for the movement and repair. Rudy's quoted $160.00 for the same movement, and that includes labor. They are a Bulova dealer. I am very pleased with the price. I expected it to be done sooner. They have had it for three weeks and it is not yet finished. Their repair person may have a high volume of work because there are very few places that repair watches. I think that the quality of the work will be very good. The movement is a Swiss movement and the watch repairer has assured me that it is a very high quality movement, used in very expensive watches. I believe the lady who is repairing it and I think that I will be pleased with the watch. Rudy's was highly recommended by the owner of The Clock Shop in Clay Terrace.

Description of Work: Rudy's resized a platinum wedding ring that belonged to my wife's mother. They also repaired a gold wedding band that had broken EVEN restoring the florentine finish that had worn off over the years on the wedding band and matching engagement ring.

The job was just fine. They also found a watch band that was very similar to the old one which I did not think I could find anywhere else since it was a band from 1920's. The shop was fine and the people were courteous.

They first said they could fix the clasp, then called to say they would have to order a new clasp. When we picked up the watch they were able to fix it after all which saved us a lot of money.

I DROPPED THE RINGS OFF ON A MONDAY AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD BE READY ON FRIDAY. THEY CALLED TUESDAY TO ADVISE THAT THEY WERE READY FOR PICK-UP. THE APPRAISAL HAD BEEN DONE BUT NEEDED TO BE TYPED AND MAILED(WHICH THEY TOLD ME WOULD BE THE CASE WHEN I REQUESTED THE APPRAISAL TO BE DONE). THEY COMPLETED IT AND I HAD IT WITHIN THE WEEK. THE PENDANT SETTING I SELECTED WAS NOT IN STOCK AND HAD TO BE ORDERED. THEY STILL HAD IT READY IN LESS THAN A WEEK AND CALLED WHEN IT WAS READY. WHEN CHOOSING THE PENDANT SETTING THEY HAD NUMEROUS CATALOGS AVAILABLE THAT HAD AN ABUNDANCE OF SETTINGS THAT WERE AVAILABLE. I HAD NEVER BEEN TO A STORE THAT COULD OFFER SO MANY CHOICES AND WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO SHOW THEM TO YOU.

NEEDED MY RUBY AND DIAMOND BRACELET ENLARGED BY ABOUT 1 INCH. RUDYS WAS ABLE TO FABRICATE A LINK OF THE BRACELET AND ADD THIS TO THE END. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW TO LOOK AT IT THAT THE LINK IS NOT A PART OF THE ORIGINAL BRACELET. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN! THEY LATER REPAIRED A BROKEN TENNIS BRACELET ($21). I DROPPED THE BRACELET OFF AT 10:00 A.M., THEY CALLED ME AT 2:00 TO PICK IT UP. FAST REPAIR, LOOKS GREAT. EVEN CLEANED THE PIECE FOR ME. NICE, NEW FACILITY IN A BETTER LOCATION.
