Jerry H., the tech., knew what it was right away.... dirty filter. Cost just $168 to sign-up for their service plan. They will be back for cooling system check-up for free.

Received a call that Jeff was on his way, he did some system checks and then got deep into the unit, components, wiring, etc. Found defective grounding connections, replaced burned out condenser and rewired compromised circuits. He gave me regular updates, estimates on spare parts and made everything right in short order. He was professional, respective of privacy and clean housekeeping. Pleasure having him work on our problem. This is not our first Mowery service, as with past visits, no issues, good workmanship and I would recommend them to friends and family. Thanks again Jeff.

It was fine. I liked that they called me in advance to tell me they are on the way and the technician was friendly and did a good job. I would recommend them. We've used them in the past.

Everything was great. When my furnace went out, they were able to get a technician out the same day. Since the furnace was old, we decided it would be best to install a new one instead of trying to fix it. Jay was out the same day and went over my options for a new furnace and air conditioner. I liked that he didn't try to sell me bigger units than I needed. He was able to schedule the installation the next day. That also went very well.

He fixed the problem and made some recommendations along with estimates for future work since my furnace is 14 yrs old and in need of maintenance.

The technician didn't know the difference between vented and ventless fireplaces. He didn't want to tinker with the logs too much or even try to turn on the gas logs as he thought we had a ventless fireplace and the logs had been displaced. (For ventless units the logs must be in exact positions to operate safely.) Turns out we have a vented fireplace. How does a professional in the business not know this? When the salesman came out to discuss replacing the unit, he mentioned it being vented within two minutes. So basically we paid for the tech to come out and do nothing because he didn't know the most basic thing about gas logs. The tech was nice, but it didn't change the result, which is that nothing was achieved.

Great service plan, very professional and very thorough. We were so impressed at their work, we had them back at another house. We are also planning to use them for some plumbing work in the future. Their pricing was very reasonable and very competitive. Probably more competitive with the service contract and the discounts that are included. They're very good at explaining what they're doing in layman terms.

Completed the job quickly. Gave us a very fair price for the amount of work that needed to be done. Tried to clear the line multiple times with larger pieces of equipment. Let us apply the initial cost of drain cleaning to the total sewer repair. Thought clean up of concrete chunks could have been better and the concrete that was repaired could have looked better.

I bought the pre-paid furnace tune up for $55, a savings of over half. You can't beat it! I like the Mowry folks; they are professional and do good work. I rated a "C" on punctuality only because I had to schedule almost 3 weeks out for an appointment and then my 9-12 appointment got pushed back to 1:30. Luckily that wasn't a problem today, and I understand delay can happen. I recommend Mowry and will use them again!

I called for a gas log inspection/cleaning on Monday and they were able to come out the very next day, which was very surprising. The window is a big long (noon - 6pm), but the tech arrived at 3pm so it was great. Bonus that I got a call in advance to know he was on the way. We tried them last year, but no one showed up due to their new software conversion. For this reason, we wanted to give them another chance since Chip (the owner) apologized for the mishap. Glad we did! The tech was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this company to others who need gas logs inspected.

Scheduled an appointment for 10 a.m. on a Wednesday, waited til noon with no one showing up. Called the office to see if anyone was coming out and informed dispatcher that they had a unit working next door for a neighbor and he said they would come after finishing up there. Unit left the neighbors about 5:30 and left the neighborhood. Decided to go for a walk a 5:45 and while we were gone got a voicemail at 5:52 p.m. saying they weren't going to make it today. Don't bother coming back Mowery's, don't need that kind of non-service.

The work went fine. They fixed it without any issues. What I found irritating, was that they ripped off the service tag from the company that installed the air conditioner, so I no longer have their contact information on the air conditioner. I probably won't use them any more for this reason. They aren't the only game in town.

I called for an appointment and they were able to get me in right away. The technician arrived within the time frame given. He vacuumed and cleaned the logs and the fireplace. He cleaned the gas jet area. It was very fast. I had a coupon so the price was very good. A friend had another company perform the same service for $100 more!!!

They always do great work. I think they are good on price.

Great! He was polite, and got the drain unclogged using his machine. I purchased an Angie's List Deal, so it worked for this job.

The service I paid for went well. I had a coupon for $55. The tech was friendly and professional. I assume he cleaned and checked the furnace properly. I had him look at a flexible line I had an issue with and he said it met code. I also had someone come for an estimate on a leaky gas pipe. He was only a salesman and wasn't allowed to do the work so I would have had to schedule another appointment. He quoted me around $500. He also looked at the flexible line and said it did not meet code and would have to be rerun. I also have to warn customers to answer their phones when they have an appointment. I had the first appointment scheduled in the morning but I wasn't by my phone when they called in the morning so they sent the tech to the next appointment. They shouldn't be confirming 15 minutes before the appointment. It should only be a courtesy call saying they were on their way. If someone else wouldn't have been at my house, I would have had to take off the whole day of work waiting for them.

On-time and professional. Made an effort to explain how the furnace works and how to avoid future problems.

Went great! Jay accompanied the two-man crew to the house early a.m. Tuesday. The crew introduced themselves, walked through what they would be doing, prepped the house for them to limit the debris on the floor. During the design, they helped improve the "return" on the a/c, placed a filter rack, and asked for my confirmation of how this was going to be set up as compared to the old unit. After the crew was completed, they walked me through all the literature left, walked me outside to view the exterior unit, and offered to answer any questions, any time I had them. Overall - great experience and will choose no one else except for Mowery's for heating, a/c, or plumbing needs.

Went great; Jay came to the house and provided us a detailed overview of what his recommendations were, worked with us on cost, and had a crew secured within 4 days. He helped us feel comfortable with the decision, answered all questions thoroughly, and made himself available if we had any further questions that evening, weekend, or prior to the crew coming out.

Mowery was able to provide same-day service with an after 5p call to request. Gentleman came out - provided recommendation for repair (Jeff) and secured an onsite visit for review of new furnace and a/c unit.
