It took a while to get the quote. I think I reminded them once and then it appeared a couple weeks later. They came out to look at the work. They were on time and they did everything else fine.

They were very professional and did a great job. They did a lot of cleaning out of a filter that was about impossible to get to. Everything has been working fine since. I would recommend them and I had a good experience with them. I chose them because they had good reports in Angieslist. They came out quickly after I called.

Great. Jeff was prompt, knowlegeable, & presented all our options professionally. The installers worked all day & were great. They explained everything about our unit & how to work it great.

I have a service contract with them. They had to replace parts. I am still waiting to hear from them, but I believe the parts are going to be covered in the warranty. They installed the furnace for the previous owner of the house a couple of years ago. They had somebody here within an hour. That was very important because our house was getting very cold. That was critical. He called and we talked about the situation. He told me what to do and what not to do in the meantime. He showed up as scheduled within 45 minutes which was great. He diagnosed the problem relatively quickly and fixed it. Within an hour and a half of calling it was fixed. That was really very impressive. I think their prices are reasonable. They are responsible and professional people. They are competent and they let you know what they are doing at the time. They are pretty informative about what's going on, which helps a lot. They don't slap on a hidden fee. They are pretty clear about what they are doing. I have a service contract with them and I will keep using them. They are probably my favorite contractor. They are the ones that I have been most pleased with.

I wanted someone local. They are punctual and so far the work they have done has been satisfactory. Everything has been excellent.

The job went very well. The fellow had the part that he needed and made the repair right there. He was polite and efficient. He did the work quickly.

Showed up on time. For the initial estimate. Respected my time by giving me the short version (I was on lunch break). Recognized that I knew what I wanted & didn't waste time trying to upsell me. When a competitor gave a lower price, Midwest matched the price for a better quality product. At installation the tech showed up on time. Removed the old furnace & installed the new furnace in a couple hours. Great work, very satisfied.

New heating/ac system purchased on 11-16-10 and installed on 1-19-10. Installers were prompt and worked 8 hours without a break to set up the new system. We subsequently had a drainage problem causing a leak in the garage by the unit but the problem was given prompt attention and corrected.

The technician was great. This was totally operator (me) error and he was very patient about showing me how to work all the controls of the fireplace. He checked things out to make sure there were not any problems.

My gas log fireplace pilot light was out. I wanted to use it for Christmas. I read the instructions but could not find the control panel. Mowery came out and cleaned the gas logs, and the burner and pilot light. He knew where the control panel was and showed me how to light it. He charged for cleaning and I used the Angie list coupon which save the trip charge. Well worth the money to have the fireplace fixed for Christmas. The service man was very nice and knew what he was doing.

Called them on a Sunday the he arrived in about an hour, and it was snowing like crazy out. Very friendly and professional. Since it turned out to be just a stuck float, I was only charged the service fee which I knew about in advance. Would/will use them in the future.

Always get excellent service from Mowerys...Saved $85 with angies list coupon, although the service man wasn't aware of the discount, I paid the full amount and when I realized there was a discount I called the company after he had already left and they are going to refund my service call charge..YAY!! Excellent company, excellent employees...AAA+

They are very professional. They even put booties on to enter my home. They come in the spring and fall for the servicing. You can request who you want to come out and I like that for consistency.

We purchased a new Lennox heat pump and furnace in June, 2007. Mowery did a great job with excellent servicemen at that time and with other general plumbing issues such as replacing a leaking water heater on the coldest day of the year. In this particular case, there had been repeat problems with the heat pump since 2009. I contacted Mowery per email and listed the times they had been out and always for the same problem. We felt that, rather than do warranty work again, that it was time to replace the heat pump. My email was immediately forwarded to Lennox. Mike, the service mgr came out and evaluated the heat pump that day, calling Lennox. We were kept informed of the communication with Lennox, but when that took more than a day, Mowery decided to replace the heat pump 'because that was the right thing to do', even though they hadn't gotten the okay from Lennox yet. The unit was replaced, Mike checked on it after installation, and even Chip, the owner, came out to make sure things were done to our satisfaction. What is most important here is that there is peace of mind when you feel that a company will stand behind what they sell and install. We feel that Lennox is a good product and Lennox did also agree to replacing the unit, but what mattered most was that Mowery went out of their way to make this 'right'. They have great integrity and we will use them for any heating/plumbing needs.

I would have appreciated some kind of notification on Friday that there was a chance that the plumber wouldn't make it to our house on Saturday, as we could have found an alternative at that point.

Very well! Jerry arrived in the time window that was quoted (10:30 in an 8a-12noon window) and spent two hours diligently and effectively conducting the duties stated above. He was friendly and personable and unlike some other vendors, was willing to show us what he was doing step by step for our own education & edification. He made very good & fair recommendations. We initially scheduled Mowery just to light the gas logs which were inadvertently turned off but ended up purchasing a one-year service agreement for the fireplace & furrnace/AC tune-up because it simply made more sense. We elected Mowery based on other Angie's List user ratings and Mowery did not disappoint.

Mowery service techs are very very pleasant, competant and professional. The only question I have is when they pull out the "fee" book it tends to get a little hairy. I have had a service contract for a couple of years and the charge seems to change. I have absolutely no problems with the work but have no idea if I am being charged correctly. I will assume I am. In the water heater case there were 2 pages of charges for this particular brand and it was "special" because it was a shorter than a standard model and there were lots of fees listed for a "lowboy."

The garbage disposal in the home we were about to rent out exploded. It was pretty urgent to get it fixed because we were scheduled to start showing the home within a few days. I called and they were able to get someone out the next day. I also had them replace the sink stoppers in 2 bathrooms. I was not able to be there for the work to be done so I arranged to leave them a key and gave them a credit card over the phone. They were on time and called to let me know they arrived. The service tech called me with an estimate prior to doing the work. Everything works great! They mailed me a receipt. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly.

The blockage was much more complex than expected. They were prompt and stuck with the job until the problem was resolved. Heath, the Mowery plumber that responded, was committed to a successful result. While not inexpensive, the cost seemed very reasonable for the time and effort.

They arrived on time. They were very professional and took very good care of my property, making to sure not to damage anything. The technicians were very polite and explained in detail how to operate our new system.

Actually, everything was quite unbelievable. The team of professional installers worked until late in the evening and returned early the next morning to complete. Excellent, hard working, great customer service and answered all of my questions. I have never witnessed a company that worked as hard as these guys and by the way we love our new Comfort Express Air Conditioning. The entire experience was absolutely FANTASTIC !

My Air Conditioner wasn't running well, so I figure it need a to repaired. I contacted Mid-West. They came out and explained all it needed was a good cleaning. I signed up on their Gold Club plan and not only save the service call, but saved $60 on new programmable thermostat.

Everything went great from locating the sewer gas leak and repairing it. Mike showed me the problem and then gave us an estimate up front before any repairs were performed.
