Tom was OUTSTANDING! He checked everything out... and sat down and explained the entire system to me. I felt stupid not knowing anything about it... but Tom was patient with me and helped me even light it a couple of times until I was comfortable. Great customer service!

Tom is probably the best service provider I have add on a furnance. He was easy to talk to and took time to show me what was going on with the furnance and explained things for me to watch for in the future. He also inspected the thermostat. Just a great experience overall. Love this company!

Because I was so happy with the furnace I purchased from them a few years ago, I signed on for their maintenance contract and have used them ever since. That was before I joined Angie's List, and when I recommended them to Angie's List for the sink drain plumbing job, I learned they were already on Angie's List.. Their prices are far more reasonable than other like companies I used before them. Plus, they put existing maintenance contract customers at the head of the line when problems occur; they are knowledgeable, efficient, and prompt. I have recommended them to many family members and friends for their dedication and skill at their trade. On both occasions that I used them this month, I was equally satisfied and received prompt, same-day service...a fine, well-run company with highly qualified staff! Kudos to Mike Wells, as well! He even cancelled a special occasion dinner engagement with his wife to complete my job-thanks so much, Mike!

I went with this company because they are family owned and have been around for a long time. The first visit I had to buy a new furnace. They always check up on it and are great at service follow ups. They are fantastic. They are nice, good at their work, and always show up on time. They care about the quality of their work. It is always a pleasure using their service! I will use this company for any issues I have in the future.

Air conditioner went out and needed attention as we were remodeling a room that Saturday and it was very hot in the room. The repairman came out early Saturday morning and had it fixed within a short time. He did a great job!

Mike was very professional diagnosed the problem and did the work efficiently and cleaned up his manner was very professional and he was very personable

He fixed it in about half an hour. A coupon via Angie's List website effectively waived the "diagnostic" fee. They came out the same day I called, no "emergency" fees charged. Very professional, very fair. Would definitely call them again.

They were very prompt and would have come the day i called, but we had a conflict so they came the next day. He was very courteous and explained to us before he started to work what he needed to do. He worked steadily and efficiently. We will definitely use them again if we need plumbing work.

They were excellent. Other companies wanted to sell me a new air conditioning unit and wouldn’t even talk to me about repairing it. They talked to me about repairing it and gave me a good price. They went over and above taking the fan off the motor and finding the proper motor. My unit is about 34 years old. They found the proper motor that I needed. The first motor that they brought overheated and shut down. They instructed me to straighten out the blades on my air conditioning unit. They found a better motor with a vent. My unit is working better than it was before. They were just exceptional.

The serviceman arrived on schedule (within minutes) of the appointed time. Mike was friendly, more than competent and treated my home as if it were his own. He wore shoe covers immediately upon entering my home. He took the time to explain the problems and what he was going to do to fix them. Wonderful experience. I would recommend Mowery's plumbing service to anyone, especially if they happen to have Mike come into their home.

It went very well. The plumber who came to my house was nice, clear on the work he'd be performing, clear on the price of the work, and respectful of my property. He had a look a my broken-off spigot and told me what his plan was and how much it would cost. He went into the basement with me to assess the situation from inside the house, and then went to work. He was done rather quickly and his work was neat. He answered my follow-up questions thoroughly and presented me with a bill that matched the quote he'd given me earlier. I've not really had enough time yet to fully evaluate the quality of the new spigot since we were told not to water our lawns, but the installation process went well.

Everything went better than expected.

The technicians arrived at the appointed time, were well prepared. In fact the owners son was on of the installers. Care was taken to cover carpets and furniture during the installation. The entire process was completed within two hours. Following the installation, they provided a complete overview of the fire log system and how to utilize the remote controller. I could not have been more pleased with the installation and service.

We have been very happy with them. They have been servicing our home, several friends, and we have a small church convocation in Brownsburg. We got a coupon to use them yesterday. They did not charge to fix the handle. We got a discount of $25. They are prompt. They call us before they come. They always here within 20-30 minutes of the time, they called to say they are on their way. They are clean. They always wear special booties on their shoes, so they don't crack things in and out. They always look nice. They are friendly. We have a working relationship with them, so they call us who we are. They do an excellent job.

The technician arrived on time, worked non stop until he had completed the cleaning (about 3 hours) He showed us the material that he removed from the ducts. He was able to complete the cleaning without cutting any holes in the air ducts. Midwest is our ongoing heating and air conditioning contractor and we have been pleased with their work. We have a service contract with them and they completed a very thorough check -up of our twenty- year old air conditioning unit in mid May. We did not get bids for the duct cleaning. I feel that the cost of the duct cleaning may have been somewhat excessive for three hours of labor plus the cost of using the equipment. However, we will continue to utilize this company for our heating and air conditioning needs in the future.

Mowery did a tune up on my air conditioner and found that it was leaking freon, so they did a good job of explaining what our options were. Because of the high cost of repair, we chose to have our AC replaced. They were able to do it immediately. They did a professional job installing the new unit, and we are very happy with our chose.

Company performed well, as expected. With change of ownership of the company, however, I chose to use a different provider for my HVAC system maintenance. Several years before this service I used their duct cleaning service. At that time the service was provided by a 3rd party.

We had a slow draining toilet at a rental house. We were able to be flexible in scheduling. Mowery arrived when they said they would (called first) and called during the service to confirm the pricing to proceed with the solution of using an auger to clear the drain. We paid by credit card to the service tech but didn't get a call back that the work was complete. I thought the cost was a little high. Other than those two items, very good and I would consider using them again.

It went great. We had used them before and they did a really good job. Their customer service and folks in the office were really good.

I noticed that Mowery had a coupon for a free service call with an $85 value when service is performed. My wife called them the next morning after he problem. They were responsive and arrived within 2 hours. My wife went to Lowes while they fixed the leaking valve and then installed he faucet when she returned. I was at work but spoke to the contractor over the telephone. The total time on site was about an hour and a half or two hours tops. Overall, the service was excellent and they did good work. However, the price seemed a little outrageous. They charged $63.19 to repair the leak which seemed reasonable but they charged $265 to install the faucet that we had purchased. This seemed very excessive. They also charged 7% sales tax on these two amounts which totaled $22.97. I have not had any time yet to research Indiana Sales Tax as we have two newborns at home right how but I was not aware that sales taxes were collected on services. When the $85 service fee is added to the amounts above, the total bill was $436.16 and we paid $351.16 after the coupon for $85 off for the service fee. This was for less than two hours of work for the fixing of a leaking valve and the installation of a faucet that we purchased separately. I would not use them again simply for the fact that I feel like they overcharged me. However, it is our fault for not asking them in advance how much it would cost and, to be honest, we really did not need a professional plumber to complete this job. However, with two newborns, it was nice to be able to have he problem resolved in a professional and timely manner. I would consider using them for a major plumbing job in the future or when timing is of he essence but I would not let them do any work without first knowing how much it will cost.

They didn't do too well. There was a problem with the insulation. We had to have them come back out to fix a couple things. Everything is now working properly, but it wasn't a very smooth process. They did however, apologize for the inconvienence.

They show up on time and do what they are supposed to do. I would rate them high overall and would continue to use them in the future.

On a 90+ degree day, our A/C went out. I called Mid-West because of their reputation in town. Since I had no A/C on such a hot day, I was given priority service. I'd say. An hour later, a service tech was at my home and had the problem fixed within 45 minutes. My house was cool again by 11am. Mid-West Comfort Express' staff was friendly, courteous and extremely responsive. We expect that of any company we work for but these folks we above and beyond and it's clear that they really care about their customers.

When the plumber called and said he was 15 minutes away, I expected to be able to meet him at my house in about that timeframe; unfortunately, I got caught up at work and wasn't able to meet him at my house for an hour, so he had to sit in the driveway (on a 90+ degree day) and wait for me for 45 minutes. That would be enough to sour my mood, but the plumber was actually really cool about it and didn't let that fact affect our interactions once I got home. i wasn't sure if the water damage I had came from a cracked collar flange/O-ring or if it was from a pipe that had burst, but before the plumber cut open my cieling he checked the base and found that's where my problem was (I was relieved we discovered that without getting into my cieling). The fact that it cost ~$250 just to take the toilet of it's base and re-set it was a little frustrating and knowing that I could have replaced the cracked collar flange/O-ring myself for about 1/10 of the price was also a little frustrating, but knowing that (in a professional plumber's opinion) that there was nothing worse wrong with my toilet/plumbing was worth the money that I paid. In short, the price for labor was steeper than I would have liked, but the peace of mind that came with it was worth it. The plumber was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional even after I showed up 45 minutes late. I will call these guys again if I have any have any more serious plumbing concerns.

A very big and important thing that they did for us about 3 or 4 years ago was replaced a tub enclosure and that was done really well. They are prompt and are willing to go into detail. Everything that they’ve done has given us no trouble subsequently. Whatever they did, it works. The only slight flaw is probably that they tend to a bit more expensive thing and we have to talk them into doing the cheaper thing. The plumbers have been very pleasant. There is one main guy that we typically speak with at least over the phone and if we have any additional questions, he seems to handle those as well.
