Our third floor a/c unit condenser line got kinked and the condenser pump failed, sending water overflowing to the second floor. We called Midwest Comfort Express to evaluate and correct the problem. The office staff were friendly and efficient and managed to get us scheduled even though their technicians' schedules were full for the week. The tech who came out to the house was knowledgable and efficient, but was unable to fix the problem because it required an install team. So the office got an install team scheduled and they came over a day later and corrected the problem. They were pleasant and capable as well.

Called about an emergency plumbing issue. But the service person didn't call back until for more than an hour...long enough for me to find Westside Plumbing who came out immediately and didn't charge a service fee just to come out and look at the problem!

From first time Mowery came out we were impressed with them right away and have called on them ever since. The service and employees has been consistent over the years. They work with you and are accommodating to your scheduling needs.

I was very impressed by the wide range of services that they offered, and I was pleased that they diagnosed and treated the problem so quickly and easily. The customer service staff was exceptionally friendly, and the service man was punctual and professional. As it turns out, the problem was not at all the tub, but rather the sink that backed up constantly. The service man had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Excellent experience overall.

We were purchaseing a house that would need remediation. We needed an estimate on a new furnace for the purpose of a 203K mortgage. They gave us the option of doing a temporary fix on the current furnace but no guarantee as to how long it would last. Since there was mold in the house, we opted to replace the furnace. The purchase of the house fell through but we would use Mowery again. They were great!

Everything was great and I would use the company again

I set up an appointment, the service man was on time, completed the work, cleaned up, and left. He was courteous and profesional.

Heath arrived on time and did a very professional job. Showed us two garbage disposals, pointing out the pros and cons in each. Installed the one we selected in less time than he had quoted. We are very happy with the disposal and Mowery.

The office and staff were friendly and had someone out to my house immediately on both occassions when I called for help. The staff were knowledgable and taught me several things about my heating system. I especially appreciated their promptness. My daughter is disabled and being without heat just about incompacitates her, so they were very quick to respond and we were very thankful for that. The heater came with the house and has caused quite a few problems over the last couple years, so I bought a maintenance agreement.

The price was a good deal, and I was happy overall with the service. The person who came did want to spend considerable time giving me a sales pitch on other options of his company's services, and so I had to be pretty firm about not being interested and say no nicely several times to end that conversation, get back to my work, and let him get on with his. But I understand that companies need to market their products and services.

We were extremely pleased with the responsiveness of the office staff and the punctuality and professionalism of the plumber. There were no overtime charges for a Saturday service call, and our Angie's List coupon (free service call with completed repair) was enthusiastically accepted and applied. The repair was completed in a timely manner. We will definitely use Mowery's services again in the future and have already recommended the company to friends.

The only reason I put "good" in the price was that it was just a shock to us about the cost. Nothing against Mowery. Very competitive for the unit that we got. They even pushed our SEER rating to the highest for the unit (16) which we ordered a (14). They gave us two 20X20X4 Honeywell filters ($100 value). Todd and Miles were our installation guys and they couldn't have been more professional. Mike (their supervisor) checked on the progress of the work several times by dropping by. Jay came out with the installers first thing to see if we had any questions. It took about 8 hours to install, and we couldn't be more pleased. Unit is quiet as promised. Excellent company to work with. They have our business for good!!!

The group is always very responsive. They do excellent work and the techs are always pleasant and willing to explain.

Went extremely well. Tech was very thorough. there were no "surprise" costs that came up or a surprise repair that they found to do.

The A/C quit working and called Mowery to have it checked out ( they had taken care of it previously) and found leak in unit, also the beginning of mold. So it had to go. A few days later the installers showed and spent the day working to remove old unit and install new one.

Our Hot Water Heater went out on a Saturday night and I called Mowery the next morning. I was not willing to pay additional money for a Sunday repair, but wanted to be sure it was fixed on Monday. They took my number and within an hour, I received a call from Mike. Mike actually came out on Sunday afternoon so he could determine what I needed. He charged me for the Sunday call, but applied this payment toward my final bill. (Net result, no charge for Sunday call) He wanted to be sure he could get a replacement water heater ordered and installed by the next day. He even adjusted his schedule and installed another heater on Sunday afternoon so he could get mine done on Monday. He had to order my water heater as it was a 75 gallon with a gas blower and needed to be fitted for propane. Mike also repositioned the heater so it did not interfere with furnace filter replacement. He also repositioned the vent pipe. The next day we smelled gas. He came out the next day along with the propane company. Minor adjustments were made and the gas smell went away. We also purchased a service agreement to have both furnace and A/C serviced. Our furnace was serviced the next day. Price was fair and quality of service was just excellent.

Went well - in and out in one day. Cost more than I would have liked but we now have an excellent hot water system. Especially appreciated the technician's explanations of the various options for the system and the advantages/disadvantages of each.

After waiting all day and calling several times - they finally sent a tech over.

Lead time much longer than communicated on the service call AND expensive but it did resolve the problem.

It's not even been two months since they've been out to repair my furnace, and it's broken. I have to go outside to manually switch back off and on, just to get it to work a little bit and maintain some heat. After conversations with them on the phone, it is apparent that they do not stand behind their word, their work, or their product. They refused to come out because at that time, I had not paid the bill. However, they agreed with me on 12/11/12, that they would put be on a statement bill and not require direct payment. I feel as if they have no ethics at all. I ended up having to call two different companies to come out and look at it since, because Mowrey refues to come. The first group that came out, was an independent, called Ed Snyder. They had it running for a bit, but came back again and couldn't keep it going. They ripped up my bill, and recommended that I get someone that works directly with Leonnox - so they suggested Williams Comfort Air. They are coming back first thing tomorrow morning to finish the entire repair on the furnace system, which is going to cost about $1,000 if not more to replace the computer unit panel. I just can't say enough bad things about the company. They are not reputable in the least! I am extremely disappointed. I would never recommend them to anyone!

Mowery was very prompt, courteous, and professional. Of the four companies that my wife and I visited, they were the only one that suggested sending out a person (Pete) to give us an estimate based on an in-home review. Pete did an excellent job of looking over our project and explaining their products. Pete came back with the installers (less than a week after the estimate) to make sure they understood what needed to be done. The installers were very thorough and paid attention to detail. For example, they did an excellent job of mounting the new gas lines in the basement where they tapped into existing gas lines, and went out of their way to keep from tracking dirt around the house. My wife and I both remarked that the gas log looks better than we expected! We are very please with the results, and will most likely hire Mowery back for other heating/AC work.

I was able to contact Mowery early Monday morning and schedule a plumber to come out later that afternoon, conveniently around my work schedule. Phil was able to diagnose and repair my plumbing problem on the same day. He took the time to explain why my attempted home repair had failed and what to do if it happened again the future. I would definitely use this company again and would request Phil if availible. Thanks!
