Unclogged a very old, very stubborn clog...it was very tough, down a shared drain that was installed wrong. Persistance and experience removed the clog without having to cut into the ceiling or into the stack. Kevin was very knowledgable, and professional. He worked really h****** the clog...it was a crazy old clog that was prexisting when we bought the house so who knows how old it was. I was shocked he was able to move it without really drastic measures. I'd call Mowery and Kevin back any day for any plumbing issue that comes up for us in the future. Equally impressive was Mowrey stayed with the deal on AL for $99 eventhough it was 3 hours of hard work to get the job done...3 hours!

He came late, gave me an estimate, and then did the repair. The company charges $85 for estimate, only refundable if use them for repair. Then 3 estimates. one standard for $280, and others for about $100 less with agreement to use their company for all my heating and cooling and payment of $14. per month for 12 months. I am going to sell and move so the plan wasn't feasible and besides I like my heating and cooling company. What I most resent is that this double pricing wasn't explained beforehand. This practice seems very devious and underhanded. The actual plumber was courteous and seemed to know what he was doing.

They are prompt, and the quality of their work is good. They never have to come back, they do what they say they are going to do. They are reasonable and you know the prices upfront. They can be trusted and are excellent at what they do. They clean up and you never find a mess in your home.

My first experience with Angie's List and with Mowery Heating and Cooling. Bought a deal, was contacted by Mowery later that day to set up an appointment. Picked my 3 top choices for appointment. Received another message saying they would see me the next day, the first of my preferred times. Mowery called in advance to tell me they were on their way. The serviceman showed up on time, did the work paid for, didn't try to sell me anything extra but did ask if there was anything else I would like him to look at while he was there. Drain is clear, no mess left, serviceman was pleasant and professional. Certainly would recommend Mowery to others and will probably call them for an estimate when I have my bathroom remodeled.

It went well! I watched them do the inspection, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. The unit has held up fine since they did the work. I’d consider using them again.

Prompt response to an emergency situation, dealing with a crawl space that had flooded and was delaying completion of installation of a new air conditioning system. Did a thorough job inspecting the crawl space to determine the problem, got existing sump pump working well enough to get through the night, then installed new sump pump. Did a very good job of discussing our options and did not try to oversell. We will certainly use Mowery for all of our future plumbing needs.

Excellent experience all around. We had been informed by our prior HVAC contractor that we needed to replace our air conditioning system, but were reluctant to have the work done by them because of several negative experiences we had had. Mowery provided an estimate that was very competitive with other estimates we received and did such a thorough job of discussing our situation that we ended up going with a higher efficiency unit that our prior HVAC contractor had not even proposed. Installation of the system was done very professionally and fully within the estimated cost -- even though the installation ended up having to be stretched out over three days because of delays caused by flooding in our crawl space. We are extremely pleased with the work done by Mowery and have decided to move all of our HVAC and plumbing work to them. They truly seem to place on emphasis on providing service and making sure that their customers are satisfied with their work -- even to the extent of the owner of the company stopping by during the installation to thank us for our business and make sure everything was being done to our satisfaction.

I can't remember exactly what was done to get it to work but they fixed it. Very punctual, very courteous and very efficient. It cost a little more than expected especially after using some Angies List deal to help pay for it, but not too terribly expensive. I think they had to get a rare part or something since we have an extremely old furnace.

Shame on me. I misread the offer and expected more for my money. I didn't think the price was that great for one drain cleaning. The drain still seems sluggish to me. They were very punctual.

Replaced both front and back bib fittings.... very professional people. Recently called and requested replacement of hot water tank and seemed a bit high. Overall I was very happy with the service they have provided. I believe when time is due to replace furnace.. I know whom I will call

The service was okay. They were absolutely responsive to me, in replying to me and scheduling their appointment and I guess I was pleased with that. There were no additional cost but they tried to sell me additional things.

The repairman was prompt and nice enough but the cost as astrnomical. I even had a coupon for free service call!! That would have been another $89 added to the charge. I will not call them again. Way too expensive.

The fellow arrived on time, checked the drain but couldn't get the clog without opening up the clean-out. He informed me that this would cost an extra $100 in addition to my $99 Angie's List coupon. I told him to do it. With some work, he cleared the drain and cleaned up a pretty foul mess. It was worth the extra cash as I'm sure the drain hadn't been cleaned in many years. the water flowed freely from then on. What can I say? I was pleased and I'll probably call Mowery again.

I had called on Sat. 3/8/2014 to arrange an estimate for a total HVAC replacement for our home. They scheduled a time for Monday between 2:00 pm & 4:00pm. At 4:00pm, I called to make sure they were still coming and the receptionist who answered the phone couldn't even find our name, address, or even our phone number, making this a complete waste of time for us. Sure wish I could bill them for my time. Sorry there aren't any more details to give.

They gave me some feedback about how to keep the drain clear for long term, which was useful. He was here for about an hour total.

It went very well and I appreciated the prompt service. They got everything done and left no mess. I didn't have to pay additional other than the price of the deal. They were very helpful.

They were fabulous - easy to work with and very helpful. There were no motors available in the city but started calling other Trane dealers in the area to help us find one.

They were able to accommodate to my schedule and come out after 5 pm when I was home for work. He was quick and maybe here for about an hour. He gave good advice on how to keep the fireplace working well and ensure it stays clean. He laid down a rug in front of the fireplace and wore booties to make sure he did not leave a mess behind.

Communication was great with them and they told us right away what they issue were. There were no issues with scheduling. They received the PVC piping and the repair was made within a week. The work took less than a day . We did check with a couple other companies and found their prices were the lowest.

Mowery did a really great job servicing us this past week. Our outside heating unit had become covered in ice and was not defrosting. They came out next day to diagnose the problem, immediately ordered the part and came back a week later to fix the problem. The phone customer service and in-person service was really great. The only reason I gave a B for punctuality is because I was told that they'd be out to diagnose the problem after 8:30 a.m. and didn't show up until well after 11:30.

Phil arrived not long after I called Mowery. He looked at the situation, tested that it was the leak in the hot water pipe causing the problem. He then went and replaced the section of pipe. Tested for leaks, cleaned up and was done.

The house became cold the night before. I was able to get it started again but furnace was very noisy. Called Mowery Heating and Air and was scheduled for the next morning. The technician arrived when scheduled diagnosed the problem and went immediately to get the part even with roads due to snow were bad. Inducer replaced quickly and efficiently.
