It went OK. For some reason I was not totally comfortable with technician. System appears to be working fine. I asked tech to install a humidifier filter. When he was about to depart I asked if the filter was installed and the damper opened. He said he did install the filter but there was no need to open the damper "since it was such a short run". This puzzled me as I think a closed damper defeats the purpose of the humidifier. I was please that the service manager sent someone out to open the damper and check my humidifier. However, my humidifier recently stopped working and again the service manager sent someone out to check out my humidifier, at no charge. Looks like this company is trying hard to keep me as a customer.

Wonderful experience. Technician was on time and personable. He ran a snake through the drain 5 times to ensure completely clear. He also gave tips for keeping the drain clear in the future.

Great! Although Phil initially warned me that it might be difficult to clear the kitchen sink drain with a snake, he kept at it and was successful. Then, he noticed that the basement floor drain also needed to be cleared, and did that at the same time.

I tried to repair it myself but it was not good enough. The service tech repaired it and showed me what I did wrong. He was on time and promptly completed the work.

The service call was great--it all went very well. We live in Zionsville. The Mowery's plumber, Heath McDavid, arrived on time, found the problem, explained it to my wife and then corrected the problem by cleaning out the drain. He then checked some of the other bathroom piping and found minor leaks which he repaired by tightening the PVC joints. Heath was professional, courteous, prompt and simply put...a nice guy. We will definitely use Mowery again and have already recommended them to our daughter who lives in Brownsburg.

I needed to turn off the water supply to two bathroom sinks. One of the valves started leaking after being shut off. I shut off the main water supply to my house and called Mowery to see how soon they could have someone come out to replace the valve. They had someone here in about four hours. I decided to have all four valves replaced since they were about 20 years old. The repairman was pleasant to deal with and had the work done in about an hour. He didn't have four valves of the same type on his truck, so each pair has a different type of handle. Since plumbing is a main part of their business,, I would expect that they would have more than two of the same type of valve on their truck. Update - After posting my initial review, I received a call from Mowery thanking me for my review and offering to replace two of the valves free of charge so that they all would match. This work has been completed and as a result I am changing my overall rating from B to A.

I didn't know how to address this. We paid Angie's list 99 and when the work was done, the contractor collected 99 as well. How do I get a refund? Is it through Angie's list or the contractor?

Service guy said system needed 2 lbs of freon. He wanted $250 for this. Told him to forget it. Then had to listen to sad tales of what would happen if I didn't have him do it. This was BS I will never call these crooks again.

It ended up being a good deal. They sent a guy out who cleaned the drain. Then less than two days later it got clogged up again. They sent another guy out who was in charge of the drain department. He again cleared the drain and had a camera snake that he was able to show me the drain all the way up. I had a really good view and he offered some advice on how to keep it clean. They didn't charge me for the second visit and actually gave me a drain warranty for the clog. About a week and a half later, things started going slow again, so I tried what he suggested to keep it running smooth. Sure enough, it started working and I haven't had any problems since then. We thought it was good the first time around, but when it wasn't, they sent the head of the department out and he made it right. I was really impressed when they made things right. They stood behind their work and got it taken care of. They took the time to explain everything to my satisfaction. They were very professional, very nice and very friendly. I would definitely use them in the future.

Mowery was very accommodating -- I needed to schedule this first thing in the morning. They narrowed my appointment window and even committed to come to my home first. The provider did an excellent job, was courteous, friendly and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Our kitchen sink is notorious for draining slowly and one side will back up into the other. We've used the baking soda/vinegar recipe many times and that, along with a few good plunges will usually do the trick. It didn't work this time, so I came to Angie's List looking for a deal. I purchased Mowery's $99 snake deal on Monday, July 6th, called Mowery to set up the appointment and was shocked when they said they could come out that same morning. I wasn't ready for them, so I made the appointment for 2 pm that day. I was called promptly at 2 pm to say the plumber would be there momentarily. Dale was the guy and he was great! Very professional, shoe covers on immediately upon coming in the house, removed on exiting the house, and put back on when coming back in. He needed the really long snake and it even had covers on the wheels so as not to dirty the carpet! It took him about 45 minutes to completely clear the clog, but he never gave up. If I ever need to call them again (and I'm sure I will!), I'll ask them to send Dale again. Overall, I was very impressed with Mowery and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. $99 flat rate for snaking - no other add ons. Thanks!

They changed original appointment to accommodate me. Actually called to see if they could come early for the scheduled appointment. Technician used booties in the house. Ended up turning off a/c due to finding unstoppable leak. We knew we were on borrowed time with our 22 yo a/c, but it was still an unpleasant surprise as we hadn't noticed a problem prior to our annual checkup. Scheduled time later in the afternoon for salesman to review options with us.

They have been great. I was very impressed with them because our air conditioner went bad, it was a simple part that I can replace and I called around town and no one will tell it to me; they all required me to go there. The part is typical and I can identify the capacitor. We don’t have money to have someone come and replace it but we could afford to but the part but no one would help me without having them come out. But it was Mowery who helped us. The air was not working at all and the $30 capacitor fixed the problem for us. I just had to unplug and plug the wires and it worked. I am an electrical engineer.

The technician was on time and friendly. He inspected our AC and cleaned it.

Wow, really excellent service. They contacted me within minutes of my big deal purchase (I also contacted them via their online site) and sent someone out first thing in the morning. Even though it took close to two hours and required a couple different drain clearing tools, they stuck with the $99 fee. Very professional and courteous.

They are the best. They're awesome. I actually got them off Angie's List. They come out twice a year. I pay $169 for the two visits for the year. It includes the tune-ups for my air conditioner and my furnace. I get free service calls. They don't charge me for coming out. I get a discount on any repairs that they have to do should I need them. The guys that they send out are super nice and professional. They make sure to clean out everything that they notice. They make sure to let me know exactly what they're doing and what I might need to do. They make sure that I understand everything that's going on. Everybody is great. The lady in the office is awesome too. The price is perfect. They're great.

Friday night I called them, they were prompt and got someone out to the house to diagnose the system. It was diagnosed as the control panel which wasn't very exciting as they aren't cheap to repair. The first technician needed to order the part so on Saturday I received a call that the part was in and someone would come out in the afternoon to install. The new part was put on the unit and there was still no response. The new technician was awesome and discovered the real problem was just my thermostat. Luckily for me the repair was MUCH cheaper and the unit kicked right on!

The individual that came to my house for the quote and also executed the work was Tim. He was prompt, professional, and thoroughly explained all of my options for repair. I was completely impressed with his service & professionalism. The icing on the cake was that the price was excellent and very close to the estimate he provided. I couldn't be more pleased and will undoubtedly call Mowery in the future for any plumbing needs.

The work was scheduled promptly, the technician showed up on time and got the work done, he explained in detailed everything he did, and he even hauled a ladder upstairs and diagnosed my faulty whole house attic fan. I thought the price was competitive compared to a previous company ($110 versus $179 for both furnace and A/C).
