Description of Work: When he arrived he stated my vent of the hose that puts out are was not to code. So instead of cleaning lint he put on a new hose. Cost me over 100 and the deal cost. Not sure it was. Needed

Description of Work: Dryer Vent Wizard came out to clean my vent as stated in the deal. While there, they discovered that my vent was no longer to code. In addition, the previous company that installed the vent used materials that were a fire hazard and would have been easily ripped by the cleaning process. The technician examined the situation and presented me with options. They ended up installing a new, to-code, vent through the roof on my home. The technician was extremely pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing during the steps of the installation. The difference in my dryer's performance after the work is night and day.

Description of Work: Representative went up into my attic and photographed Estridge' original installation of insulated flex duct draped over joists all the way up to roof exhaust vent. Exhaust vent (flapper) was still in good shape. New dryer required good exhaust specs; so, I agreed to install new, rigid duct. Installer neat & clean, did the work right there, timely, professional, showed me the new install picturs and measured the exhaust 'flow'. Good job & credited the install with my 'deal'. So, I think I got a good price, too.

Tried to sell me extra services: changing out pipe to back of dryer. Will consider the extra work "needed" to be done at a later time.

Description of Work: I had the dryer vent cleaned and an inspection done. The serviceman told me everything he was going to do prior to doing it and explained why. He did an excellent job at explaing why he was doing what he did. He detected some problems in the system that had been done at the time of construction and he corrected those issues. In the past , the vent did not fit well into the wall even after other companies repaired it. This company redid their work , even going into the wall some. It looks wonderful now and is so much more secure than in the past. I would definatley use this company again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Brian arrived as promised and provided advertised service. He was professional, courteous, and had a good sense of humor. However I was surprised to find a huge pile of lint left behind. I have had this service in the past by another provider and there was no residue for me to clean up. Dryer Vent Wizard should include the clean up, or at least alert the customer. Maybe some wouldn't care, but I prefer to keep my yard free of excess debris.

I had them do a few extra things for me during the same visit--i.e., new vent cover, new code approved venting and new new washer hoses. The second visit in September was because I noticed wasp nests in another vent. They removed them and put a new vent cover on this vent (bathroom vent) to prevent other critters int he future. Both services were done promptly and professionally. All mess was completely cleaned up afterwards as well.

Description of Work: The owner (Glen Mayfield) actually performed the work. I had the dryer vent cleaned (second story required), and a washer hose replaced (my choice, an additional fee), and had him check my outvent on the roof. He was prompt, courteous, explanatory. My electric bill went down after the cleaning, as my dryer was more efficient. Would use him again and highly recommend. I really appreciate someone working for themselves in this economy.

Description of Work: Outstanding expertise, knowledge and professionalism, courteous, nice and clean. Our work involved construction and installation, not simply cleaning the dryer vent. Mr. Mayfield was exceptional. And I can't say enough good things about his work. If your condominium complex or home needs to bring its dryer vents up to code, I highly recommend his work.

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time and introduced himself and explained the services to be provided, starting with an inspection of the dryer vent which was on the roof. He then explained the cost for the services. He completed all the work,, answering my questions and explaining everything as he went along. While I was very satisfied with his work and have already noticed a difference in drying time, I do feel the price was high. The technician told me about their annual service contract but did not pressure me it sign up for it. He did not leave anything for me to clean up. I would recommend this company but again the price was more than I had expected.
