The job went really well from start to finish. The lady who took my call to set the appointment was very courteous and knowledgeable, asked all the right questions and was very clear on what to expect when they show up. 2 people showed up, Amanda and Darrell, and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue and suggested that we replace the outside vent to prevent animals from getting in there. We agreed that was worth it. They quickly cleaned out the entire vent, replaced the outside one and what a difference it has made in drying time! Thank you, Dryer Vent Wizard in Avon!!

It went wonderfully. I was aware that my dryer vent had not been cleaned for a number of years. So I was not surprised when I got a new dryer and one of the dryer warning lights came on indicating the need to check my venting system. Dryer Vent Wizard promptly responded to my request for a quote. They were amazing. My dryer vented into the crawl space but needed to vent to the outside. The location of my dryer prevented them from going through the ceiling. I was reluctant to have them go through the brick outside wall of the crawl space which, at first, seemed the only alternative. John however devised a way to go through an existing grate. This required him to use a tool which he did not have with him. Because it was the weekend he said I would get a call to schedule his return . I got the call as promised and he came back that Monday (with an assistant) and finished the job. I was very pleased with his professionalism, his willingness to honor my preferences, and his observance of social distancing. I knew I had made the right choice when I opened the door to both John and his assistant already wearing their masks. Both gentlemen went about the job with care and respect for my property including the cleanup. I would definitely hire this company again .

Wonderful service. While spending more than I thought I would, I do feel like I was taken care of. Like that their service plan and parts have warranty aspects to them, minimizes the costs in the long haul.

We are on a crawl space, in the process of other work that was done this summer, the dryer vent was crushed; hence dryer vent not working. He repaired the vent, put in a new outside vent flap, and cleaned the dryer vent line. I felt the price I paid was very fair for the work performed.

We had an initial mix-up because of scheduling. My landline was down without my knowledge so this was partially are fault. Doug was very gracious when we discussed the situation and made special arrangements for a technician to come to our house. The technician examined our vents and determined that all connections were correct and that we did not need cleaning at this time. He suggested a recheck in two years. Nice to know that there is an honest, considerate, business out there. I would highly recommend this company.

Steve was on time and very professional. He explained the process. Overall, we are very happy with the work done and will definitely be using them on a yearly basis to maintain the dryer vent clean and working properly.

Girl power fixed not one, but two companies' big strong men's mistakes. Amanda found the reason another company's male rep left a new dryer vent sticking out from the house ~ a fire hazard ~ was because they left an unnecessary part in there from decades ago. Another company's male rep since then made the same mistake. Also, the previous male rep used electrical tape instead of metal tape and electrical tapes doesn't hold, so lets lint gets through and into your walls. Another fire hazard. And he also only taped in one area near the outside, whereas he should have taped over every bend or however you want to phrase it there. Over the decades, we'd just put up with the dryer sticking out too far in the laundry room. Thanks to Amanda's precision work, the vent is now flush with the house outside and my dryer is no longer sticking out from the washing machine. Also, the previous male rep broke my brand new rigid duct that I paid $75 for and didn't tell me about it. I'll be asking for Amanda in the future.

The service technician was very professional, timely, and knowledgeable, giving us solutions and changes we needed to know about to prevent fire hazard and offered a routine maintenance plan that was very affordable. The overall price was higher than just the routine maintenance because we needed different parts than we currently had for safety. Going two years without a cleaning for a family of our size was NOT wise. Love that we found Dryer Vent Wizard!!

Dryer Vent Wizard came out to diagnose my dryer vent for efficiency/potential concerns and complete a cleaning. They called ahead of time to let me know that they were stuck in traffic and would arrive towards the end of the scheduled window. They were very friendly and professional throughout the entire visit. The representatives were very informative and transparent about the services being completed and their findings during the diagnosis. They found that nearly half of the vent opening was blocked due to spray foam that had been used during construction or maintenance prior to moving in. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase any unnecessary services. They will be coming each year to diagnose the system and I would definitely recommend using Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana.

I do not recommend Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana (aka Vanmar Enterprises, owner: Glenn Mayfield). I hired them to clean my dryer vents last summer. Their worker arrived late, used my bathroom to defecate against my wishes, and claimed to have cleaned my vents completely but didn’t actually do so. As a result of all the above, I had to hire a cleaning service to do a deep clean of our bathroom, which Mr. Mayfield originally agreed to pay for but subsequently refused to do. As a result, I took him and his company to court and won a monetary judgment against them. Great service, a bit more expensive that I though was reasonable.

A light on our dryer indicated that we had a vent problem. A technician came out and determined that someone had installed the wrong kind of outside vent for our dryer. We made arrangements for a technician to come back in a couple of days; the vent was on the second story roof and it was raining. A technician came back and replaced the vent, which was also being blocked by a large bird's nest. The technician also replaced the hose with a more fire safe one. We feel fortunate that we didn't have a fire, considering everything that was wrong. We had no idea!!
