The service provider came at the agreed upon time and inspected the dryer vent and found excess tubing and converted this to a shorter vent to minimize inefficiency and accumulation of dust. He also changed the washing machine hoses. All performed well for approximately 6 loads of drying and then the laundry room became warm and moist. When inspecting the vent, we noticed that metal tape had come undone leaving the vent open to our room. We were not satisfied with this and called and left a VM. The company returned our call the next day and arranged to come back to the house within 48 hours of our find. They fixed the problem with a different exhaust system. Their initial position was to charge us for a new exhaust system but my wife refused making an additional payment as we had not received an adequate installation initially. The service person accepted her position. It has thus far survived 3 loads of laundry. The stainless steel hoses to the washing machine appear to be fine.

The staff were very poilite and responsive while making appointment and the contractor arrived at my home on time. However, my dryer is on the third level of my house, which I had explained on the phone. No one made a note of it and the contractor did not have a tall enouhg ladder to reach the vent. He could not reach the vent and could not reach anyone to bring him another ladder so we had to rescehdule the cleaning. But, they did follow up the same day and returned after hours to finish the job. Other than this glitch, I was very happy with the work.

Elizabeth Sawyer and her assistant were very accomodating and explained everything they were doing. They discovered that the transition piece from the dryer to the wall was against code because of it being a fire hazard, so they installed the correct material. They checked out everything and were competent at their work. I would definitely have them come again.

The company was very quick in responding to an email I sent them mid-week, and they were able to schedule service on a Saturday morning. The two gentlemen showed up right on time (with a phone call to warn of possibly being early on that particular Saturday morning), and informed me of the procedure they would take (review current situation, provide estimate of work/costs, and perform the work). After the initial inspection, they informed me that the portion of the dryer vent going from the wall through the attic to the roof vent was inadequate (made of plastic) and recommended replacing it with the correct metal duct. They also informed me that the previous connection to the roof vent was not correct and that the connection between the dryer and the wall should be replaced. As I wanted this done, and done correctly, I agreed to all their recommendations and they performed the work quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and polite. I appreciated their willingness to do the work in the attic on a hot summer morning, as well as their prompt response to my initial email. I did feel their prices for replacement ducts were a little steep.

Bought this offer from Big Deal. Ended up costing more than I thought because the technicians said I didn't have the appropriate type of dryer vent tubing. I will say that my dryer performs so much better now since they completed their work!

Called Dryer Vent Wizard and left a voice mail on a Saturday afternoon after discovering a bird nest in my dryer vent. Glen returned my phone call early Monday morning and scheduled a cleaning for Tuesday afternoon. Although arriving a bit late for our appointment due to his previous appointment unexpectedly needing more work, Glen was thorough and professional. After a complete inspection and cleaning of our exterior dryer vent and interior hook-up, Glen installed a nifty new bird-proof cover. Very pleased overall! Will DEFINITELY use this company again!

They were very willing to work with my schedule and I was able to schedule a date for them to come out just a few days later. The individual who performed the work was very friendly and professional and actually able to come earlier than the scheduled time. He checked everything out and showed me video on his phone of a section of hose in the attic that was vinyl and needed to be replaced. He completed all the work very efficiently and in a much shorter amount of time than I expected. The price was a bit high but not unreasonable for the work that was done. I would highly recommend getting your dryer vent cleaned and would not hesitate to use this company again.

They did a good job. He knew what needed to be done and explored a couple different options. He ensured his drill could go through the stone exterior for the installation. It only took a hour and half to complete. The price ended up being more than estimate.

We were very pleased with them. We got them on one of Angie's big deal. We were going to replace the washer hoses but couldn't get ours lose so we ended up having a plumber come in to replace some valves. We actually referred them to two other people who've scheduled with them and used them.

The tech arrived on time. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything down to the last detail. He then gave me a price that I agreed upon. He started his work and finished quite punctually. He went over what he did again, which was great.

Clearly identified up front what else they would look at beside the vent cleaning and gave me an appropriate estimate. They also recommended a change in my washer hose lines, but I have a plumber for that. They were very efficient with time and showed up when expected. I latched onto this Big Deal as soon as it was available. I have always been concerned with the way that the Sears workers installed the dryer pipe. I now learn that I had reason to be concerned. The two men from Dryer Vent came. When they saw how the vent hose was installed, they were chagrined. The real truth came when they disconnected the hose and began cleaning it. Tons of lint flew out and the deeper they dug, the more lint came out in thick clouds. I had been harboring a fire hazard. The workers were wonderful in explaining exactly what was going on and in making suggestions for a safer dryer vent. I never felt pressured, nor did they predict dire results if I did not follow their suggestions. They were straight forward and patient. They felt like family members making suggestions. I took all of their suggestions and I am happier as a result. I also feel safer because I know that a build up of lint can cause terrible fires. I highly recommend this company! And I would not hesitate to use them again. They were, in a word, wonderful!

He was great. The job was great and he went over and above to work out a kink even though he got dirty doing it. He wanted to do additional services and it was totaling up to about $200, but when I called someone who knew what was going on he said I didn’t really need it. As far as the actual job that I paid for him to do in advance, he was great.
