_The Service tech explain to me about the different type of services his company could perform, swhich out the hose from alumium to metal and he fix the outside vent...plus he explain, about the heat output that the gas dryer should be putting out. Yes, I would like to have this company service us again.

Scheduling was quick and easy. Technician was on time, polite, professional and worked efficiently. Re-venting cost seemed a little pricey, but by the time I could research and get other quotes, decided it was worth it to go ahead and have it done right then. Although I ended up spending more than I initially expected, the additional cost was worth the peace of mind to know I was mitigating potential fire hazard. One less thing to take care of if/when I decide to sell the house. The technician was not pushy and did not attempt to "hard-sell" the re-venting - he took the time to explain thoroughly and answered all my questions. Would hire again.

The job seemed to go smoothly. They did a great job, were very detailed & professional as well as punctual.

They did a really nice job. The dryer works in almost half the time now. He was nice, professional, and gave us a fair price.

Very quick in returning my phone call and came out when they said they would. Very happy with the experience. Plus now the dryer vents properly outside. There was so much buildup that the hose to th outside was partially blocked.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon on Angie's List to have a dryer vent cleaning done for $69. The company responded fairly quickly when I called and showed up when scheduled. The tech was friendly and informative and did a good job. I asked him to clean out my actual dryer and that was an extra $35 charge, but I needed it done. He did try to upsell me on other services they had, but it wasn't a hard-sell. He let me know that the connections I had for my washer and dryer were not the most optimal and suggested I change them. He would do it for me for $85, but I decided to do it myself. I was able to go to the hardware store and buy new washer/dryer hoses and a new dryer vent for about $25 and install them myself. However, if you are not a handy person, or if moving the washer/dryer would be a problem for you, then it would be worth the money to have someone take care of it for you.

I was worried about a fire, they said my vent tube was so short that it probably wouldn't be a problem, they were honest with me which was really nice! THey really took a load off of my mind and hear about a service you don't need from a vendor, can be unusual so I did appreciate that!

Very good experience with this company in terms of quality of service and job done. I just ended up spending quite a bit more money than anticipated. Our dryer was working TERRIBLY, so we were excited to have these guys come out. My wife would have to run the dryer for HOURS just to dry our bedding. We knew we had a pretty severe problem. Brian came out and was very friendly and professional. He had some difficulty getting to the vent in the attic from the inside, but got in our laundry room and pulled out all kinds of stuff (Damp lint and birds nest. TONS of it). Got everything out of the duct work, but apparently there was still some bird nest stuck up in the vent on the roof that he could not get to. So he offered to have their roofing guy come out and install a better vent with a flap that would keep birds out. He said that they would get the last bit of birds nest if/when the vent was replaced. I felt that that last bit of birds nest coming out should have been part of the original job (complete drier vent cleaning), but I am a fair guy and acknowledged that installing an improved vent probably needed to be done so I went along with it. The vent installation cost an additional $160 (roughly). Brian also recommended that I have a new fireproof "transition" (hose from drier to wall) installed and reinforced water hoses for washer... so an additional $150 or so. I did see the value, so decided to get them. Even after he left that first day with duct work cleaned out and new transition installed, we were disappointed that our drier still did not work well at all... but had been told that the rest of the nesting would be removed from the top when the new vent was installed, so we were patient. About 5 days later Brian returned with his roofing guy who installed the vent. After the job was done, Brian told me that they pulled out another box full of bird nesting and that this was the worst blockage they had ever seen. Lucky us. :) Once the final step had been completed, when my wife came home that evening she started washing and drying stuff and... did not stop for hours. It was like we had bought a new drier! She was so excited! All in all, the Dryer Vent Wizard guys did a great job and left us in really good shape. The quality of the work was really good. My only "complaint" is that I kind of feel like I got sucked in by the initial $80 "Big Deal" but the final cost was over $400. Was that a fair price for what we got? Probably. Did I choose to spend that extra money? Yes, at least on some levels. Would I recommend Dryer Vent Wizards? Absolutely. Would I recommend that you be careful about being "up-sold" on a few additional items? I sure would.

I started my search with some questions via the provider inquiry option on Angie's List. Glen answered my questions very promptly and provided great detail using a friendly and professional demeanor. He made sure I was comfortable with how and what services they would perform and was flexible on a service time. Brian was the service representative. He was professional, thorough, friendly, efficient, and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. He was transparent and provided me options and suggestions but I did not at any time feel pressured into anything. It was clear to me that the services he performed were my decision and he respected that. I would use them again in the future. My only negative is I felt for the amount of time and the equipment used that the price was a tad high. However, I don't know what the market bears (only my own assessment) nor other costs they incur so I may be off base. I suspect the dryer vent was likely not ever cleaned so having this service performed was a plus in safety, protecting birds, and gaining in general overall knowledge. It is now in great working condition and I have a company to contact for future service needs. A big plus. I will recommend This company to family and friends! Thanks Glen and Brian!

I emailed the company to schedule a service appointment. Elizabeth responded immediately. The appointment was scheduled within a week. The technician arrived promptly and was friendly. He told me what he was going to do. He said that the current dryer vent line material was improper and the size was too small. It was also disconnected from the exterior vent cover. He replaced the vent line and the vent cover. I also purchased the maintenance plan. The dryer works better. The entire appointment took nearly 2 hours.

Outstanding as stated above....Highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizard for now and routine maintainance...Will use and recommend again and again.

I had purchased a dryer cleaning special through Angie's List. Glen was very professional. They cleaned the dryer vent, installed new vent covers on the side of my house. I wanted white, but they only had brown on the truck and they needed to order the white. So, they installed the brown and said they will install the white covers when they came in. They installed the white covers sometime. I just happened to look up at some point and the white ones had been installed. What a pleasant surprise that was. I did not have to follow up with them, that is rare these days. Glen also indicated that my dryer was not really producing enough air out of the vent. They inspected the dryer vent in the attic and found a possible fire hazard with the venting. They fixed that, which took quite a bit a time, and the dryer is now really drying. I was amazed, how fast things dry. And, now, I have the correct air flowing through and out of the side vent. I highly recommend Glen and his company. They get the work done and they take the time to get things right. Hard to find these days.
