Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana

Was happy with service and work. The technician was professional and answered all my questions. Additional work was required, was notified before the work was done. Airflow was increased significantly.

It went very well. The technician was very thorough with replacing our dryer vent and was very detail oriented. He cleaned our filter and explained to us how to keep it clean.

The technician was on time, courteous, and professional. The actual work performed only included cleaning of the vent line from the outside vent to the inside wall. The cleaning did not include cleaning of the vent line from the inside wall to back of dryer or of the lint screen located inside the dryer. I assumed both would be included in a dryer vent cleaning as they are a natural extension of the dryer vent. I was advised by the technician that cleaning of these items would result in extra charges for each item.. I found this to be disappointing and as a result, the cleaning seemed incomplete to me.. The technician said I could purchase a cleaning wand and clean the lint screen on my own... During the inspection, he indicated that the vent material should be semi-rigid rather than the foil currently being used. However, he then concluded the space available could not accomodate the material being recommended, without moving the washer and dryer to an awkward position that would then preclude accessibility of the door leading to garage..

technician arrived on time and was courteous. All work went well. Cleaned any left over lint left on the ground. Did a Nice job. Would definitely use again.

They called as soon as I ordered the service and set up the service the next day. He arrived early - he called first to see if that would be alright with me. He went right to work with a vac and cleaned the filter inside my dryer, checked the vent and tubing I was using to vent the dryer. He took this off and used a vac to clean out the vent that goes to my roof. When he was done with that he got on my roof and cleaned the vent tubing from there. My dryer now dries so much faster.

I was very happy with the dryer vent cleaning performed by Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana. They called before they came and told me when they would arrive. They did a complete inspection of my dryer vent system, which involved crawling up into the attic as our dryer is on the second floor, and wrote out the estimate of the work needed before they began. They were very nice and explained everything before they did it. They did a very thorough job of cleaning and put a new vent cover on and attached our dryer back up to the vent with aluminum tape. They also cleaned up everything before they left. They charged an extra fee for driving down to Bloomington, but that is understandable for the distance traveled, but I think it was well worth it. Our dryer works great now and i am pretty sure we won't be getting anymore bird nests in our dryer vent with the new cover.

New parts were recommended, some were accepted and installed.

Went well, but found things that were wrong and not up to current code? I live in a condo and checked with our Property Manager and my neighbors and found that no one in the other 9 similar condos has experienced any problems or found a need to change the current set up.

The tech showed up on time and was ready to start upon arrival. He had the proper tools and equipment on the truck to do the job. He also had all the material needed to do the job. Very professional in manner and knowledge. Cleaned up after the job was complete. Work was completed in a timely manner.

We needed someone to come out right away and check our dryer vents, etc. due to a smokey haze in our home that the fire department could not determine what was the cause. They're suggestion was to get our dryer vent checked ASAP and our furnace. I found the Big Deal for Dryer Vent Wizard and called them immediately. They had an appointment open up and put us on the calendar for the same day. Not only did they clean our dryer vent but also fixed the ducts going from the dryer to the exterior as they had come loose and apart. They were very thorough and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this particular service to all of my friends. After reading about a dryer fire in a home on the northside of Indy , I decided to use this company after reading on my e-mail about a special offering to Angie List members. I am so glad that i followed through on this.

They contacted me very quickly after I purchased the Angie's List special and it was easy to work out a scheduled time. The tech was on time and very professional. A different tech had to do the roof work (3rd story roof), but they were very good about communicating and checking back.

My dryer vent collapsed and I called in a handyman service. After 2 attempts, they washed their hands and called the dryer vent wizards. They came out immediately and identified the problem right away. Their expertise in this area is phenomenal. They gave us a bid for the work which was even lower than the handyman's estimate. The handyman then hired THEM to finish the job. Their work was phenomenal and their professionalism top-notch. I can obviously not say enough good things about them. They specialize in dryer vents so REALLY know what they are doing. They are also very focused on customer service.

He first checked the washer hoses to make sure they were metal braid instead of rubber. He then explained why they check the hoses. He then checked the dryer connection duct to make sure it was rigid/semi-rigid aluminum instead of vinyl which can cause fires. We went outside were he then tested the air flow coming out of the exhaust vent with the dryer running. He said it should be at least 12-15 mph and it was only 6 mph. He then cleaned the vent from the outside and re-checked the airflow. It was much better but he thought it could use more cleaning from the inside due to the way my vent was configured. He even ran the vacuum while cleaning the vent from the inside. The vent was really clogged. He also taped off the seams in the connection elbow and re-configured it so it fit better behind the dryer. After checking the airflow one last time, he cleaned up the lint that was in the yard from cleaning the outside section of vent. I was impressed with how thorough he was. Before I had Dryer Vent Wiazard come out, I had my doubts about dryer vent cleaners. I figured someone would just show up with an as seen on TV "lint lizard" and clean a little then say it was clean. He had professional tools, experience, and was very professional. He did an excellent job from explaining what he was doing, to performing the work, to cleaning up afterwards. I definitely recommend them and will call them the next time I need the dryer vent cleaned!

Very competent. The gentleman explained what he was doing and the results. Did an excellent job.

The repairman did a thorough job. He recommended a new connection tothe dryer and suggested a screen on the exhaust hole be removed before doingthose things. The connection was a small additional cost. He even offered totrim the bushes outside of the exhaust hole for me!

Chris was very knowledgeable and explained a couple of problems we had with our dryer vent duct work. He gave us an estimate on replacing the ductwork but was NOT high pressure at all. When we decide to get this repair done we will be calling them back. Excellent people with whom to work.

We purchased the Angie's List coupon for the service. Shortly after purchasing the coupon, I was contacted and we agreed upon a date/time. The person showed up during the window and performed the necessary service. Overall, a good experience.

It was fine. He provided great service, gave us some recommendations on what to with our dryer.

It was a great experience and the guy was very knowledgable friendly and on time. He told me how to clean the high efficiency dryer we have as I have a hard time keeping it clean.

Purchased Angie's List special deal....inspection and cleaning of dryer vent.$74.00 special value.(normally $150.00) Email communication with vendor was fast and courteous. Appointment was scheduled quickly and within a very reasonable time period. Tech arrived on time, was very polite and knowledgeable. He inspected the vent run for any damage in the crawl space. ( home is 21 years old.) Measured "air flow".. Cleaned the run, installed new, more rigid connection from back of dryer to the vent itself. Inspected and cleaned the back of vent in the dryer. Also installed a new exterior damper that I had purchased, but hadn't installed. Measured air flow again to show now within "standards' Cleaned up after himself. Charges for the extras (new connection material, and install of damper) were reasonable. Cost of service was a good deal, compared to other specials I had seen. Again, Technician was polite, friendly and appeared to know his business. He offered suggestions, but did not push and extras at this time. Overall was a good experience and I would recommend to anyone.

Service was wonderful; they were on time, efficient, and did a great job. They also re-connected the vent from my dryer to the wall; it had never been connected properly by the builder.

_The Service tech explain to me about the different type of services his company could perform, swhich out the hose from alumium to metal and he fix the outside vent...plus he explain, about the heat output that the gas dryer should be putting out. Yes, I would like to have this company service us again.
