Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana

My dryer was taking a long time to dry and the exhaust felt moist. Our appliance repair department suggested we have the vent line cleaned. They recommended Dryer Vent Wizard, and they were highly rated by Angie. Rightly so. I was very pleased with the results.

He came out and performed the dryer vent cleaning. He also inspected our dryer vent which actually runs the length of our home, approximately 30 ft - mostly horizontal. He found some rust and other damage along the duct and also provided a quote to install a shorter, more direct vent from our dryer's location. He did great work and we appreciated his advice.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana. The service turned out really good. It was great and they did a wonderful job. They charged me an additional amount but it was fairly reasonable for what they did. They arrived on time. The service man was very pleasant, congenial. They did the work as promised plus they did a couple extra things for a reasonable cost and I'm very happy with their job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. My dryer is not even two years old but the check filter light came on so I had come out and clean it. He checked it and said that it didn't need any maintenance. He said that it was running fine. He pulled out a chunk but it actually didn't turn off my check filter light. He did a fine job. I had called and I didn't hear back from them for a while. I was going to call again and he called and apologized. It wasn't a problem at all. The price was good. They came earlier than I planned on and they were very good.

The work was done professionally and satisfactorily. Fully satisfied and would use this company in the future.

The company was fine. They came out and took care of it on a Saturday. It did not take them very long and they did what they were supposed to do. They suggested I put reinforced hoses from the washer for the water lines so they didn't break so I bought those hoses from them. They could have pulled the dryer out and swept behind it, but they did do what was required.

Company contacted me when they said they would and showed up on time. He was very professional and made constructive suggestions about improvements to the dryer vent.

It went great. They were very professional and communicated very well. We were worried that we have to get a new dryer...thank goodness we didn't need to as they did an amazing job cleaning and repairing our vent.

The experience went extremely well. My airflow was 0mph before the cleaning and 23 mph after. The gentlemen called when they were on their way and showed up when I expected. They cleaned the dryer vent as expected and improved my airflow from 0mph to 23mph. I also had them repair the dryer vent line from the dryer to the wall connection. This included a difficult attachment to the vent in the floor. They did a great job and were very thorough in explaining what they had done. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

The technician arrived on time, inspected the vent and decided to replace it with a new aluminum one. He was friendly (somewhat chatty I'd say, but I didn't mind that) and professional. The job was not really extensive since the vent was right by the external wall. Overall a good experience.

Both company reps were very knowledgeable and helpful. They cleaned the dryer vents as well as replaced the connector.

Showed up on time and cleaned the vent as expected. No surprises which was a good thing.

We contacted them and set an appointment for a few days later. They arrived on time and got to work. I believe they did above and beyond what we were expecting them to do. We did not feel that they tried to sell us on anything we didn't need. We will use them for a yearly cleaning and inspection.

We have lived in our house a little over 2 years and hadn't had our dryer vent cleaned, so thought it was a good idea. As others mentioned, the "Big Deal" was a pretty good price but we too spent some extra on upgrading the vent tubing. We noticed slightly better drying performance after the cleaning. The responsiveness was good from Dryer Vent Wizard; my only complaint is the service tech did not wear shoe covers and got mud all over our stairs. He did offer to clean it up after realizing what he did, but would have been much better to wear the covers in the first place.

I purchased the cleaning service through Angies List Big Deal. The company immediately sent me an email to set up a service time. It's was great as it motivated me to not forget my purchase. You call the number they leave you and you get an answering service who then contacts the company itself. The rep from the company called me back in a very short time frame and we scheduled the appmt. The company sent out email and a voice mail confirmation/reminder. The day of service the repairman called to ask if I wanted him earlier as he had completed his previous job early. He arrived very shortly there after and did a great job of cleaning the dryer vent, assessing the vent issue I had( I knew I had one )and then fixing the problem for me. He had all the tools and items needed on his vechicle, gave me a quote and performed the service in clean ,neat and timely manner. I would highly recommend this company.

I had an older dryer that had come with the house and I was concerned about the state of the vent, so I purchased a cleaning from the Angie's List Big Deals. The service experience was very good. The technician was on time and very professional. He explained the problems with then-current vent, and advised me to replace it. I could see that he was right about it needing replacement, and the price he quoted me was fair. The work that was done was extremely competent and I will not need to worry about my dryer vent for a long time.

Everything went very well. Besides cleaning the vent, the vent duct from the dryer to the wall was replaced to improve flow. It turned out that the vent ducting was not very dirty but this gives us piece of mind. Since the was an Angie's Big Deal, the cost was very reasonable. I was very please with the professionalism throughout the total process of working with this company.

They were very quick to return my call for service. They showed up on time when scheduled and completed the work efficiently. Everything turned out very well with the cleaning. However, the inspection concluded that I needed to replace the whole vent unit.

It was fine, but expensive.

I did not receive the service (vent cleaning) they advertised. To me it seemed like a "bait and switch" scheme where you pay an extremely reasonable fee for a service, then they get there and say they can't perform that service (because I "need new vents"), which they would have been very happy to install for me.... which would have cost me over twice as much as I'd already spent. It was a waste of money and my vacation time. You really don't know who to trust anymore. I'm not saying these people/this company were bad, I'm just saying you never seem to get "the good deal." After reading several reviews of other advertised great deals, it seems like they all work this way. Sad. I'm not likely to jump at the advertised deals anymore.
