Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana

They arrived on time, were very professional and explained everything they were doing. We had been having trouble with the dryer drying properly. They found the flexible vent had broken and had been sending air and lint into the crawl space. It had then clogged up. We had them replace the line and the vent cap to correct the issues. All went well and clothes dry much quicker now.

They were punctual and professional. I appreciate their understanding we had a newborn at home so they didn't waste out time with unnecessary service calls. They were clean an friendly. All in all great customer service.

Called provider to set up service date. Arrived on scheduled date. Provider Provider cleaned dryer and installed new dryer vent line. Replaced outside vent cover at no extra charge. Suggested washer hoses be replaced with braided stainless steel hoses, to which I agreed. Having a basement, I am aware of the consequences should a washer hose break. Recommend and would use again.

Went great - cleaned the dryer vent; replaced the cover on the outside vent. Turned out the heat element on my dryer had died so he suggested a repair service in the area to contact to ask about cost of such a repair vs. buying a new dryer. In the end, it was more cost effective to purchase a new dryer. I will be having the Dryer Vent Wizards out to clean the dryer vent again - well worth it.

When I asked him about the pictures showing them moving a dryer, he said he would have to charge me extra. He had already charged me extra because he had to go on the roof. It went fine overall, I was just surprised that it didn't happen like the pictures showed. I did not want to pay an more extra.

When I called them made an appt then and arrived at the time scheduled. The owner himself came out and explained all of the work they would do and provided an estimate for the work. They also did a check 10 inspection that was included in the service. The did the service in a very timley manner. The dryer works much better now. I will use them again and reccomment them to every one.

Steve the technician was excellent, very well prepared and articulate. Unfortunately I did not get a written estimate before services were performed and was charged for the new hose ($89 which i believed necessary to clean the vent), the labor to fix the small issue with the inlet for the dryer vent ($50 ), and a $49 diagnostic inspection charge (which I believed was excessive). I spoke to Glen the franchise owner, and due to the fact I didn't get a written estimate gave me a partial refund. You could tell he wanted to help and did an excellent job to fix the situation. Overall I will definitely use them again for my other property and any future inspections, due to the excellent technician and satisfactory resolution of my issue in a prompt manner. Although next time I will make sure to get the written estimate before any work is performed.

We needed a dryer vent re-routed. Steve came and gave us an estimate. Made an appt for the next week. Was running behind but let us know and made it right. Work was done satisfactory and happy all is done. Fair price!

We used Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana and that one we used primarily because we had suspicions that we had a clog in the dryer vent and we did, so then we arranged for them to go ahead and fix that for us. Yes, they did a good job. They found, located the spot, the basement ceiling where the clog was and managed to fix it and our dryer vent now is working quite well. They did the inspection almost immediately and he called me like the next day and they were out here within a week and they ran their little thing up trying to find and clear it out and determine if there was a clog there and then we scheduled them to come back and fix the clog. But we didn't do that until right after thanks giving and that was at my request because my wife's family all comes around Thanksgiving and I did want her to take a chance of having a hole in the basement at over Thanksgiving and he came back right after Thanksgiving and fixed it and in fact did a very, very professional job, fixed the whole in the ceiling and it's been working fine. We went above that, we actually had the work done, with the inspection and the cleaning of the vent, we rescheduled it to have that clogged vent fixed and it seems like it was about $125.00. He worked hard to try to clear the clog in the initial call and then I said it was way back under the, we had our basement finished off and the dry vent went between the ceiling in the basement and the floor, the main floor so it was, and yeah he did an excellent job to figure out where exactly the clog was, and. When he cut a hole in the ceiling of the basement to check, it was literally right beneath and it's where actually the vent had broken and was blowing wind into the ceiling so it was fortunate that we got it fixed. I said that I think he called us the very next day after we did the big deal. I would use him in the future.

My experience with them was very good! There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. We had to call back to reschedule.

Turned out better than expected.

Technician was on time. He told me the price which was 121 for the vent cleaning, 49 for diagnosis, and 35 for a vent cover. He informed me I could pay an additional 29. That way the next visit would only be 99.00. I asked if I could pay the 29 and avoid the 49 charge. No it would not count toward this visit. I do not understand why a diagnostic fee was necessary since I knew that when I called. One of those vent covers probably cost 5 at Lowes. He left and did not sweep up excess dryer lint that was left around my air conditioner unit.

Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana were fine. They were good in all ways, like how they explain things and they did it in a timely manner. They're very thorough.

He came in, went right to work. Informed us that the tubing in the crawl was plastic and said he could fix it right then.

It was fine. He came out and he signed me up for a yearly thing and I never heard from him again. And he was supposed to contact me. He did a great job, but I never heard back from him. I've used somebody else this year. I think I had to pony up a little more in order to be on the annual service. He was going to send me a card and put me on the annual service thing and then I never heard from him again, so I dropped it and I went back my old guy. The service was fine, he did a fine job. The deal was for $69 and I ended up paying $90-something. He was professional.

He came on time , was courteous and my dryer started working as brand new again.

I wouldn't use Dryer Vent Wizard again. Through no fault of their own, they ran into trouble while they were cleaning the vents, which meant that I had to do substantially more work, part of which included five cuts in the drywall. I understand that they felt that they were doing what they needed to, I just wouldn't use them again. I had to hire a handyman come in and do the five drywall cuts.

...Chris was punctual, professional, and pleasant - while also very careful in his inspection. Original installation from the builder created a lack of access - so that a new dryer vent had to be installed vs just cleaning/reparing the current vent. Glen called and had to re-schedule 1st planned work date due to mixup in scheduling which he apologized for. Both Chris and Glen came out the 2nd time to make sure the repairs were handled the best and most efficient way. A hole in the ceiling was required to inspect the disruption, and that will still have to be repaired. Both gentlemen were courteous, conscientious, and explained all that needed to be done after uncovering the issue. A new route for a new vent had to be determined and installed. Chris explained the options and what needed to be done - then worked hard to get it completed with Glen.

There were several extra charges because the vent itself was a long one. I was not upset about it. They didn't push me to do it; it was just that the vent was longer. It was the first time ever that we had this done. I would recommend them, but be prepared to pay more. That is the only thing; they would talk you into things that are really needed, like different pipes. I didn't have any problem with that, because these were the original ones and they probably did need to be replaced, because a lot of the air was going under into the cold space instead of outside. But they were old, so I didn't think anything of it. It was much worth it. They were very courteous, very nice men and they were very clean. I would use them again, but I probably will never need them again, because when they did it they said I wouldn't ever need them again, because they did it right. I would recommend them.
