D and C Electric. Our motto speaks for itself, "Done right the first time." All work is performed in house, no subcontractors. We offer free estimates for projects, no "trip fees," and service call repairs and diagnostic charges starting as low as $90 for up to 1 hr. All other jobs will be estimated and approved before any work begins. We are a local contractor serving Central Indiana and localities surrounding Indianapolis, including Avon, Greenwood, Brownsburg, Zionsville, etc. If there are any questions about if we serve your area, please call.

He is his own business. It is more one on one, more friendly conversation. I trust him when he is here. He is neat and cleans up after himself. I think he has fair pricing and he gives me an Angie's List discount each time he comes.
Description of Work: Last time he was here he changed outlets, converted some dimmer switches and added some outlets. He's actually been here several times for several small jobs.

The job went smoothly overall except for the bathroom light and fan. Not sure as to what the issue was, but Dave worked hard and long to make it work. It may have been his equipment, but he was so pleasant and worked very hard. Unfortunately it took him much longer than expected, but he was pleasant and determined to get it done correctly. At one point had to go get a stabilizing part for the ceiling fan as my husband and son put up the last fan, and it was not stable at all. The new fan/light is great, and he did a wonderful job. I was very happy with everything that he did and felt that his price was very generous. He had a couple of specials on his work site, and I was able to utilize them in the work that he did. I'm glad I picked him from Angie's list to do the job. It was a pleasure to have him doing the work and I felt from the beginning it would be a job done well. He is very knowledgable about his work, and easily explained anything that I asked him. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done in their home.
Description of Work: Dave came last week to give me an estimate on some electrical projects that needed to be done in our house. Called the end of the week to set up when he could come to do the job and gave me an estimate and instructed me as to the things I needed to get too. Was suppose to arrive @9am but had some other issues to finish up and called me @ 8:30 to ask if he could come @ noon. Arrived right on time and got right to work. Replaced outside driveway lampReplaced outside of door fixtureDid new wiring and set up a new switch in a basement areaReplaced ceiling fan in kitchenPut in a new ceiling fan and light in downstairs bathroom

Must have been a miscommunication between myself and the customer's representative whom I met at the property. Customer was not available at time of set appointment so had someone else meet me at the property. We discussed the project and I advised representative that automatic gate openers were not something I was confortable with installing, we discussed the possiblity of my installing the underground wiring to assist on the project but advised seeking the services of a professional installer who specializes in this type of project.

He noticed two old sockets that needed additional work and he contacted me days later to come back and fix them on his own merit, without charging me any additional money. They were very honest, friendly, personable, and down to earth. He was efficient and quick while working here.

Our need for electrical repairs was serious. We could only be available on Saturday. D and C Electrical understood the demand we were under and worked with us by coming on Saturday. Thet were on time and discussed every step of the repair. Our experience with D and C Electric was outstanding.
Description of Work: Repaired 8 standard outlets that had not been working in our living room and two bathrooms. Repaired the outlet that was outdoors on the patio. Installed two new outlets in the garage. All repairs and installs included GFI outlets. D and C spent time explaining the work they were going to do and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. They were very punctual and extremely professional. They showed respect for our property. If I ever need electrical service in the future, I would only call D and C Electrical. They were outstanding.

No surprises!
