Description of Work: Blake Cook gave us an estimate to concrete our driveway. We signed a contract and gave a deposit. He showed up several times giving excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't complete the job. After dragging on for 3 months, I asked for my money back. He didn't return my calls. We took him to court and won. However, he still hasn't paid our money back and he is now out of business. He may still be pretending to do business and asking for down payments. He will take your money and never return to do the work.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE WEATHER WAS NOT VERY COOPERATIVE, SO THEY WERE NOT HERE EVERY DAY; THUS, THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED. THEY WERE NEAT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES EVERY DAY HERE. MY ONLY POSSIBLE COMPLAINT MIGHT BE THAT THE WORKERS SEEMED TO SPEAK LITTLE ENGLISH, SO IT WAS DIFFICULT TO ASK QUESTIONS. THE OWNER RESPONDED FAIRLY WELL WHEN CALLED, THOUGH.

I CALLED OTHER MASONRY PROVIDERS FROM ANGIE'S LIST, BUT COOK MASONRY WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT REPLIED AND FOLLOWED UP WITH A PROPOSAL. BLAKE CAME BY WITH HIS FOREMAN WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TO REVIEW THE WORK THAT HAD BEEN DONE, ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAD, AND FIX ANYTHING THAT DID NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS.
Description of Work: THEY CUT AND TUCK-POINTED SEVERAL AREAS OF MY HOME'S EXTERIOR AND REPAIRED STRUCTURAL CRACKS. THEY ALSO REPLACED ANGLE IRONS ABOVE THEY WINDOWS AND REPAIRED MY CONCRETE PATIO AND BRICK STEPS.
