At C&J Well Co. Service, Pumps, & Drilling, we provide Central Indiana with state-of-the-art well and geothermal drilling and a full-service maintenance team. In addition to drilling, we perform service calls and maintenance checkups and replace pressure tanks and pumps in existing systems. C&J is a family-owned and operated business with a dedicated staff and many satisfied customers. We offer competitive prices without compromising the integrity of our services. Because our wells are drilled using the latest drilling technology, you are ensured to get the most out of your money. C&J Well Company is a member of the BBB, Indiana Ground Water Association, and the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis. In a quarter of a century, there have been many notable accomplishments, such as opening C and J Water for softeners and treatment, and integrating other local well drilling companies. C&J proudly continues the legacies of Water Wells by Wilhite, Dean Well Drilling, Harness Well Company, and Scobee Well Drilling. Josh and Christy are grateful for their hard-working technicians and strong support staff that led the company through the years.

Description of Work: When our monthly electric bill was over $60 more than it should be, we noticed that our well pump was running almost constantly. We found C & J Well Drilling on Angie's List and they came out the same day we called. Our pump motor was bad so they replaced it and a 21 year old water tank in the basement. No more large electric bills. I would definitely call them again for any well-related problems.

Description of Work: work and the workers who preformed work we great. The office needs to improve customer skills they were very rude and called 4 days after they sent invoice to see where my payment was and I hadn't even received it yet. They called again when I had mailed it and they said if it was not in the mail today they would call me back. This was a $7,000.00 invoice.

Thanks kindly for the review and good grade. I'm sorry for the call for our funds, but winters can be tough on us here in the water well industry and obviously $7000 is a lot of money which we had a lot of work invested in drilling your new well etc. Since you typically have 15 days to pay your bill when it's mailed I'm not sure why you would have been called so soon after receiving your bill. That is quite unusual. Perhaps it was delayed in the mail?? Thanks again for the good grade and being one of our good customers. Ps enjoy your lifetime warranty on your pump while you never buy a pump again!

Angie's List and Angie's List members: these few pages of poorly crafted "A" grades with several N/A's are from Angie's list "fetch" program where AL has their employees call our clients that are current members and get a grade and comments over the telephone by way of conversation. We are thankful for the efforts put into these reports by the fetch people. However we would like to request that more information would be provided by the fetch group. It should say on the report that the grade was derived from a telephone conversation for instance. We would also appreciate a comment or two. And leaving all of the grades N/A is really not a fair representation for other AL members. I'm confident you guys will be improving these areas and i would like to thank you in advance for your help in these areas for the future. Members: please understand that these were legit C&J customers who are AL members and that have been contacted by AL in order to get these grades. Though these reports could never carry the same weight as a thorough review we would appreciate your understanding in bearing with the process and at least not discarding them as useless or fraudulent.
