They were punctual. They weren't as gentle with our inside plumbing as we'd hoped they'd be. They were hard workers and they did the job effectively and efficiently.

A couple weeks after the flood in June, our water slowed to a trickle. We found C&J on Angie's List and called on the weekend. The owner apologized, but said if he had to come on Saturday, there'd be an extra charge. We assured him we could get by until Monday. They came out a little later than we expected, but apologized again and said they had gotten tied up on a previous call that morning. When they arrived, they found that the flood had damaged our tank and the pressure switch. They replaced the damaged parts and gave us a 5% Angie's List discount. Their employees were efficient and completed the work to our satisfaction. We have had no problems since their repairs have been completed.

They told me exactly what they were going to do, how they would do it, and how long it would take them. They were very courteous. They finished before they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. I not only was satisfied with their performance, but they showed up on time and did a great job. They even charged me $75.00 less than on their estimate. This company really went the extra mile.

The two gentlemen went right to work. Jim was very good at keeping me informed as to what was going on and whether any unexpected situations had been encountered. They completed the installation (including monitoring of the new tank cycling on and off and inspection for leaks) in just over one hour. They cleaned up thoroughly and asked me if I had any remaining questions and concerns. As it happened I did some other work in the crawl space and had to call Jim later in the afternoon with a question about the well pressure switch. He was prompt in calling me back and clearly answered my question (which involved part of the well system that he had NOT worked on). I appreciated his willingness to answer my questions on aspects outside of the job he'd completed for me.

We turned on the faucet and had no water. After many plumbing calls the plumber concluded we needed a new well. C & J was able to come out the next day. They had to dig deeper then anticipated-of course you pay by the foot-but they did hit water. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. We have a great water supply-even after my husband left the hose on in the backyard for three days!

The work was ok, but one time the broke my electrical to my pump and said it was my fault, I had it fixed for free by a friend so I never back charged them.

We sold our home and inspection company found e coli in the well. Since we were closing in 6 days, I called C & J Well. They went above and beyond because when we got to the home the electricity had been turned off too soon. Thank goodness they had a generator on the truck and were able perform the preliminary work (while I waited for the electric company to arrive). Jim arrived the next day to check the water quality and take a sample back with him for testing. Got results the next day. I had called 2 other well companies on Angie's List and they were the most responsive. We moved to a home that also has a well and I will definitely use them in the future.

It seemed to me that when they first walked in their first interest was is money than in how they were gonna help me with my problem. I felt that he assumed what he was gonna do before he even checked. His diagnosis was correct but I just felt like I got a new tank and I didn't need one, it was just a new small part I needed. They came into my house with dirty shoes and I wasn't very happy about I'm not sure I will call them back. They were nice but they didn't address my problem first.

When they were drilling for the new well they hit natural gas. They realized they couldn't get the well to work so the owner ended up coming and realized they had hit natural gas. They then had to drill a new well and run it 130 ft to get past the gas pocket. There was no problems with the new well. They water quality is better and so is the water pressure. They explained a lot about the old well and the new well to me.

They responded very quickly to our request, even though they are located in Brownsburg and we live in Noblesville. They were professional and explained everything that they were recommending in detail. We had originally received a quote from a different company of $2,500 indicating that we needed a new pump, among other things. We feel C & J made an honest recommendation of what was needed and did not try to take advantage of our situation. We would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with them. I called them & they gave me an estimate right over the phone. They knew by my diagnosis what the problem was. They came out the next day and I signed the papers. They originally quoted me $700 and it ended up being $665 with the 5% Angie's List discount. They came out one morning, repaired the system & I had water again within a couple of hours. The repair was professionally done & they knew exactly what they were doing. My well is located right next to my garden & there was no damage to my garden at all. The yard was not left a mess and there were no ugly scars or anything left over after the work was completed, which I really appreciated. I was very pleased with them & I will be using them again.

My well was not working. C & J came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. I figured I would have to replace a pump, but they were able to determine that I only needed an electrical box. Another company diagnosed a full pump replacement at $1800. C&J's fix cost only $350, so they saved me $1500. They even had the box right with them - so no waiting! My only (small) gripe is that $350 is a lot for a half-hour's work. I have no idea what the part cost is though.

Crew showed up on time, communicated well, got right to work, and did a dandy job. They left the work area neat. The whole project took far less time than we anticipated (and less than half the time it would have taken us).

I had four different crews on my project, all were very pleasant to deal with and professional. Crew #1 inspected my old well and serviced it to determine if it was still usable. Crew #2 drilled the new well and set the casing. They were very concerned that it was located in the right place and that the mess could be contained. Crew #3 did the directional drilling to get the line to the house. A couple problems arose which they dealt with. Crew #4 installed the pump and plumbing and got us up and running. All knew their job and did it well.

My pressure tank started leaking badly. I called them and spoke to George who was extremely understanding and was prompt to arrange for repair. They arrived at my home and had the repair completed within 4 hrs. What a great company to deal with!

Satisfactory job but problems. 4 separate work days to complete. Well cleanout resulted in debris in the water system requiring me to take apart and clean all interior plumbing fixtures with filters (faucets, washing machine, dishwasher). Existing water line and electrical wiring to well cut by horizontal boring of new line to pond. Required a temporary fix for the weekend since it occurred on a Friday. The temporary fix involved cutting off and removing an outside hose bib to run the temporary line to the basement. The new water and electrical line to the house added additional cost to the project. Despite horizontal boring, there was significant excavation required with a significant amount of lawn that will need new topsoil and reseeding. The end result was what I wanted: the constant pressure pump is very good improvement to our water system. The line to the pond allows me to maintain a more constant water level. However, it could have been more efficient with less mess at the end.
