+ 0 moreIt went very well. The estimate was thorough and they painted more trim on the garage than originally estimated at no additional charge. R.E. construction has a very good carpenter. He has installed and repaired several doors for us. it is a relief to have a working entry door on our garage again, and a nice-looking window sill. They also replaced damaged siding. The painting craft was also good. We have an old home built in the 1870s so lead safe painting practices were a must. We have worked with R.E. Construction on a number of projects and they have consistently done good work.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced the entry door to the garage and repair threshold. Scraped as necessary, primed and painted trim with 2 topcoats on 2-story garage, replaced and painted 2 boards. Repaired damaged and missing siding on south side of home, replaced rotten window sill, scrapde as necessary using lead safe work practices, primed bare areas and painted the south side of the house with 2 topcoats.

+ -1 moreAfter they tarped the roof, they had to leave town for a job for a little while. I was told they'd be back around Easter to finish the job. I haven't heard from them since, and they don't return my calls. I've chosen to go with another contractor.
Description of Work: They de-iced my roof and put a tarp on it. They said they would be back to replace the roof and fix some interior water damage.
