Description of Work: Repair for refrigerator and service for chest freezer. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: Appliance repair: Fridge quit cooling; the defroster had failed & the coils had iced up. I called in the morning and they were there later in the afternoon. Steve knew immediately what the problem was; he described the failure mode, what we needed to do in the short time to get back up & running, and expected the replacement part to be delivered the next business day (this was a Friday). The part arrived as expected; they called that morning to schedule installation within a couple of hours, by noon everything was fixed and I was living happily ever after. | |I felt Morrison's strong suit in this case was their responsiveness. I was able to save all the food in the fridge, the short term fix would have kept the fridge working for a week or so, and with the replacement part installed within three days we were never at risk.

Description of Work: Problem was a broken dryer belt, which was suggested to me by one of Morrison's employees at the store. I bought the belt at the store, and tried to make the repair myself. However, once I got the dryer disassembled, I knew I would need an expert to put it back together again. Called Morrison's and made an appointment.

Description of Work: We are renting currently. I've had multiple experiences with Morrison's. Overall they have been extremely helpful no matter what path I took to solving our appliance repair issue. We had an oven gas leak. They came out to identify the issue/part. They weren't brand authorized to order the part, but shared how we could order it and when we received it, Morrison's came back and completed the repair for us. When I scheduled the oven repair I shared the microwave turntable wasn't turning they estimated it was a belt issue. They brought the part with them, checked the microwave, confirmed the issue. They explained that it was a relatively easy repair to do ourselves.....so, we purchased the part from the manufacturer and our landlord followed their instructions and repaired the microwave! Most recently (4/8/2011) , the washer wasn't spinning out the clothes properly on a random basis. I called, had set an appointment for them to come out but the problem "stopped" occurring over the weekend so Monday I called - we discussed - and based on the honest "guesstimate" of what the issue is and the cost of the repair to wait until the issue surfaces again before we have them out. I would highly recommend Morrison's and will continue to use them.....I trust them.
