Everything went well.
Description of Work: Ennis Tree and Lawn took down three small old trees and one medium spruce for us, right by the road. We would definitely use them again. Professional, friendly, fair price.

It went very well!
Description of Work: I had a couple of small trees cut. They priced it out very quickly, and performed the service as quoted within the time frame we discussed. They were very friendly and were in and out very quickly. I would definitely use again.

Description of Work: We had a huge beech tree near our garage that was rotting around the base. Josh took it down neatly and left it in the woods at a reasonable price. Great work! Very nice people.

Description of Work: Our persimmon tree fell apart, seemed to split right down the middle. Mr. Ennis explained that the tree was actually two trees, and rot had formed between them and the wind had pushed them apart. Her removed the tree entirely, and trimmed out Rose of Sharron bushes. We intend to have him come back this summer.

Description of Work: Tree service cut down and removed two unsightly trees from front yard, including the stumps. They also removed a pile of brush that had accumulated in our back yard. Although delayed a few days by weather considerations, job was done in a timely manner. Crew cleaned up area after work was completed. Very satisfied with quality of work and price.

Description of Work: Went fine. Truck made divets in yard, which they filled in with dirt and grass seed. Price was OK, but seemed a bit expensive. I did get a discount for being an Angie's List member.

Description of Work: Granted I live in a rural community (Bedford) where prices are more reasonable ($10-$15/acre) but $100/acre for the Bloomington area was too high even for an estimate. I hauled my own tractor up there & did the job myself.

[Member Name], I can't possibly figure out how you could rate my business with a F. You called me and asked for a service and wanted an estimate over the phone. I told you I can't really do that without looking at something first because I have no clue how bad the situation could be. You asked for a price anyways, so I told you on the high end. I also told you that if you had me look at it, the price could come down. I had 2 employees in my truck when you called that heard the whole conversation as well because I tend to keep my phone on speaker so I can write at the same time. You then proceeded to give me a price that you said you couldn't even do. With regards, you couldn't find somebody to mow for that, let alone haul a tractor over and bushhog what you were wanting done. I'm sorry you were not happy with the price I gave you "over the phone" which I told you I could probably do better after looking at it, but that in my opinion sure doesn't warrant an F grade. I would also like you to take into account that many people ask for prices over the phone. Getting a tree cut down could range from $100 to $6000. It is much easier to give you a price that is on the high end when you were so persistent in wanting one. If you had allowed me to look at it like I asked I'm sure it would have been a much price. From a business stand point and in this kind of situation, it is much easier to come down in price than tell you a price over the phone and find out it is a much tougher job than stated and have to explain to you that I would need more money to do said job. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to speak about this further. I hope you can see where I am coming from and change your grade.

Josh and his two other people started with the small trees. The he came with his truck that went up tall trees and he took them down step by step. He was extremely organized and safe about how he took things down. I asked about something that didn't look good on my landscaping and instead of offering to cut them more and get a little more work, he had an excuse as to why they did what they did. He is a really nice guy, but has a little trouble hearing and working hard with customers. I just think it's that he's good at the trees, but is not a salesperson. He does a great job and we will use him again.
Description of Work: Took down three big trees, two which were over 100 years old due to disease. He also took down about 15 poplar trees that were leaf free and smaller that the other three.

It went very well. Josh and his Dad worked very hard, very carefully, very thoroughly. He checked with me regularly to verify the amount of trimming and did not quit until he had completed the job to my satisfaction. He was courteous, and knowledgeable. I will call him for all my tree needs most definitely.
Description of Work: Trimmed many bad lower branches on 2 large pin oaks, trimmed dogwood trees, cleared all waste.

Mr Ennis was on time and has the experience I think will do a good job when we are ready for the job to be completed.
Description of Work: Mr Ennis was on time and very helpful. We thought we would wait until it was later in the season before doing the work because of the soft ground around the tree. Mr Ennis was very thoughtful and we will use his services.
