Commercial Service

We came home to our furnace broken and a freezing cold house. They came the day we called and were able to bypass the part needed to get it running and get it to heat the house and then came back the next day and repaired our furnace. It did require 2 service calls but we didn't mind. They were wonderful - calling us before coming so we could come from work to let them in and didn't have to take the day off to do that.

They responded on a Sunday morning and took a couple hours to fix.

Came on time and did the work efficiently.

Joe Garman, James and Joe all showed up at 8:00 just as scheduled. James and Joe removed the old units, installed all the new equipment and were done by 4:30 PM. The workmanship was excellent, attention to detail was large part of job. They made sure both systems worked correctly and that we knew how to operate the units. I have not worked with any more professional people in my life. ( I am a retired Senior Mfg. Engr for GM) I can say from the start that everyone was dedicated to doing the job correctly and on time. No hidden charges, no unforseen items or problems. Thanks again Bob

There was a flooded area around my furnace. They had to remove the water softener to fix the leaking pipe. I liked them very much!

We contacted 5 companies to provide estimates to replace our geothermal unit. Out of the 5 companies, Commercial came back with an estimate that was about $2000.00 more than other companies had quoted us. Their quote was not only 2k more, but it was also for a single stage system, when all others were for a 2 stage system with a desuperheater option. When I responded with this information I immediately got an email that they would do it for the same price as another company had previously quoted (close to $10,000) and would also include the 2 stage system. While I appreciate the offer to reduce the price, that still seems pretty significant. He was very nice and punctual and provided us with a lot of information while he was here, but I am really glad that we did our homework. This person from Commercial also told me not to trust things that I read on Angie's List because they don't think it is very accurate. This report is accurate, and I have the price quotes to prove it. :)

We thought it was about time that we replaced our water heater that we had since we bought our brand new home 20 years ago. It was a pretty standard procedure but their technician did a fine job. We also had Commercial Service instal and service our A/C and furnace. They are a rally good company.

Found out that we had a gas leak on our side of the meter. Gas company red tagged our meter and shut off our gas. This was on Friday at 2:30pm. Called Commercial Services and they immediately sent someone out to take a look. Commercial Services quoted us on the spot and said they could come back first thing on Monday. BJ showed up on Monday as promised (even a little early!). The work was completed quicker than originally estimated, which brought the price down significantly. BJs work is solid and spot on. Gas company came back out and inspected, everything looked great. Thanks for the quick service and good experience. Would definitely do business with Commercial Services again.

The service tech came a little earlier than appointed and did a thorough job of servicing the furnace. We were new to the house and he let us watch the steps like changing filters that we could do for ourselves. It was too cold to check the AC so we'll have to wait till spring for that.

James was super and took great care of us. He went well beyond our expectations!

The original appointment for Commercial Service to come give an estimate was rescheduled the morning of, but they were courteous and apologetic for the inconvenience, and showed up the next morning, right on time. Charlie was very knowledgeable and thorough, taking nearly an hour or better to ensure we understood all our options. We did not use commercial service because we choose to go with another hvac contractor.

They we outstanding...punctual, professional and courteous. The work was explained in detail and I had constant contact with them before & during the process. I couldn't be happier.

Very, very well. We thought we were going to have to buy a new water heater; they corrected the problem and told us the water heater was actually in very good condition, which was very good news.

I got two quotes for cleaining/repair and/or replacing duct work due to mice. One quote came in at over 1000 to clean and repair the duct work, while the quote from Commercial Services was 690 to replace the flex duct and clean the plenums. We selected Commercial services, they were right on time, completed the job in a timely fashion, cleaned up and departed. No issues, fast and efficient! Would use them again.

They were actually here to day and they were good, I have a bout year services contract, I am very impressed with their company and the staff , I paid 1234$ for a three year service plan. They are just very competent, The only hiccup I have had was on the installation of the unit in 2010 the settings of the unit was not optimized by the installation crew and according to the follow up visit the company had become well versed with the settings and the technology it was some thing that i was not aware of but the unit was working.

Commercial Services installed a new heat pump in 2013. After a couple of delays, it was installed and running as promised. The thermostat was not working properly with my boiler heat resulting in 2 months of outrageous electric bills during the winter. I had them come back out and reprogram the thermostat to work properly. It works now.

Very pleased with the professionalism and promptness. Tech was very willing to discuss details and provide advice. Zero complaints other than the cost of the R22, which is largely beyond their control. They are at the top of my list when I need to call someone again. I would not say that they are the cheapest (though I don't know for sure). However, HVAC is sometimes a get what you pay for kind of thing.

They have a package where if you commit to having them service your HVAC in summer and fall, they will do so for $x amount. And if you are under contract with them and something breaks, you are moved to the front of the line for service and get a discount on parts. It is a good deal.

Very professional. On time.

Humidifier installation went well, but they were unable to install a water softening system due to the way my house is plumbed - the softener would feed the outside faucets as well as the house which would end up killing the grass. Glad they recognized this and recommended against the system.

The igniter broke a week later due to installation issue. Cost me $100 to fix again 2nd time

They came out once to fix my wheezing furnace, but it was perfectly quiet that day, so they gave me some diagnosis tips. Once the weather got colder, it acted up again, so I called back. Within about one minute of hearing the problem, the tech said, "Oh, I know exactly what that is." He fixed it within about ten minutes. Best of all, though, their office person, Grant, was wonderfully helpful. He looked up warranty information for me, so I knew what my options were. Plus, since they thought they knew what the problem might be from the first visit, he ordered the part in advance of today's visit, so they could have fixed it on the spot, if that was the problem. But since it wasn't, they will just return the part. Thanks for that advanced work that would save me time and money!

They recommended I replace the furnace because was it was unsafe. They suggested I contact another contractor and they just left, they didn't turn of my gas or inform me about the actual danger involved with the continued use of the furnace.

They were really good. They do a really nice job. They were on time and really efficient. They don’t make a big mess. They called and made an appointment. They came out at the exact time they said they would arrive. They evaluated the furnace that day and we had to order a part because the furnace was really old. They called to confirm, they had the part and they rescheduled to have it installed. They came back to install it and made sure it was good to go. I would definitely recommend them

Charley (technician) was punctual, got to work immediately, showed me problem area, kept me informed of progress. He gave recommendation on unit, answered my questions in detail, and was professional in all areas. Would request him again & will use company for any further work.
