Repair was quick then I had him check out both heat pumps completely. They charge a little over $100 to do a complete check of a unit - so it cost a little over $200 for the work. I thought there should have been a break for two units but there was not. The repair work was $200 for part and labor and travel then $200 to look at the units. Repairman was there around an hour and a half and the total was $420.

The representative assessed our needs and space prior to the installation. He was very professional and quite affable. The installer was very nice—punctual and professional. He finished ahead of the timeline he outlined for us, and he cleaned up everything after he completed the installation. Commercial Service is an A-one company—we have a contract with them for furnace and air conditioning check-ups—as well as air purifier and hot water heater. We have always been VERY pleased with our service calls.

The materials used by Commercial Service (Water Heater & Softener/Treatment System...and Heat/AC) are the very best you can get. We have been customers for many years, and have always been impressed by the integrity and skill of their technicians in both HVAC & Plumbing services. We have subscribed to their Maintenance Programs for many years because those are excellent as well. Their prices are usually significantly higher than similar companies...but because we can trust their work and honesty, we are willing to pay for that.

Diagnosed the problem thoroughly and proposed a reasonable solution.

The rep who came to help us choose the right unit seemed very honest, trying to sell only what was needed. Once the units were installed, any immediate problems were responded to, and tweaking was done to eliminate high pitched whistling. We’ve had general maintenance done since.

The technician was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to me and to show me exactly what was wrong. When the repair was done fairly quickly, he offered to check a few extra things just in case to give me more value for the time I paid for. Then, he helped me carry the temporary window unit I was using to my car! Excellent service!

Excellent. Appointment was between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. Arrived promptly at 9:00. Checked and serviced the A/C, changed the filters. Very efficient. Very professional. Unit is about twenty years old. Will use Commercial when it comes time to replace it.

They came on time, were very efficient, and got furnace ready for winter. We buy their service contract every year.

I used Commercial Service for plumbing twice. The first time I had a leaky faucet in the kitchen. A new faucet was installed, but not properly, as it never had high water pressure to the hot water side. I lived with it for a year. Then I had two different leaky faucets so I called them again to fix two different faucets, one inside and one out. Those fixes went fine. I asked them to fix the water pressure on the original mistake, it was fixed. Then I tried to run my dishwasher, long story short the water to the dishwasher was never turned back on. I thought the dishwasher was broken and called a different appliance repair service to come. They informed me the water was turned off. And I had to pay a service call fee for the plumbing mistake. When I called Commercial Service they said they would “let the boss know.” That was about 2 months ago and I never heard anything. I wouldn’t use this plumbing service again. Two mistakes in two visits is too many for me. I rely on Angie’s List for quality reviews and I was let down this time.

Called to say they could come earlier than apt time if convenient, when found out the faucet had to be replaced instead of repaired explained what was entailed; even though it was a longer job than anticipated was fixed in no time. Cost was a lot less than we had anticipated and wonderful service. We will definitely be using them again.

It turned out to be my water heater that was leaking and needed replaced. They were able to remove the old water heater, replace it with the new one and did it all in under two hours! Amazing!

Technician B.J. thoroughly tested the unit and found a minor problem that was easily corrected. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Would absolutely use again.

They came and answered my questions. I had more questions so they came back and never charged me a dime. I've exchanged emails with them so I think they are doing their best to be helpful and thorough. I have another estimate and they aren't that far apart.

Brett found the main problem almost immediately. The outside circuit breaker had been tripped. This was not obvious because it appeared to still be in the 'on' position, but he found it quickly. He also checked the Freon coolant pressure and electrical components. Quick response and expert work. After hours ($176?) was charged about twice the rate of weekday rate ($88), but it was totally worth it.
