We worked with one of their employees and he was doing some work on the side. I got in touch with him through contacting them. He took some wrinkles out of our carpet.

We are very pleased.? They really took the time when we visited the showroom to point out the differences between styles and brands of carpet.? The crew arrived on time on the day of the install.

Rick Bumbalough was my main sales POC and also did the measuring. He was very nice and took time with us throughout the process. The tile and wood installers showed up on-time and did a very nice job, especially the tile work. Overall I am very happy with the final results. The floor in my house had some special "issues" that needed attention, and they were able to come up with innovative solutions to make the project a success. After installation I did a thorough inspection. There was only one small issue that I found, and when I brought it to Rick's attention, it was fixed that very day. The only negatives for using Bounds and McPike are that the prices are probably not the lowest that could be found if you shopped around more. This is to be expected as they are a larger company and probably have larger overhead. Also, the total installation time was longer than I anticipated because they only used two installers (one for tile and one for wood). If a larger team worked together then it could have been finished faster. Overall I am happy with the results and would use Bounds and McPike again.

We visited several flooring companies, both locally-owned and big boxes. We preferred the customer service of the locally-owned stores. We narrowed down our choices to two shops--Bounds & McPike and another in town. Both gave us expert advice without a strong sales pitch, and had comparable pricing. In the end, we chose Bounds & McPike because of its high ratings on Angie's List and other review sites, plus its membership in the BBB. We could not find ANY reviews on the other shop, even though it has been in business for 25 years. Jeremy talked to us about the different kinds of flooring, and the pros and cons of each. He helped us choose the best type of flooring for our needs, design preferences, and budget. We were able to find a laminate that truly looked like wood--but not just any wood--an exotic type of wood with different patterns and colors (what we liked in hardwood). He also pointed us in the right direction of the new DuPont StainMaster carpet because we have dogs. Jeremy was patient with all of our questions, e-mails, and phone calls. The installers were nice and friendly, and did an incredible job. They were very concerned about the quality of their work--not just finishing as quickly as possible. It was also easy for them to work with our cabinet installers. We have a beautiful new floor throughout our kitchen, living room/dining room, hallway, and stairwell. Everyone thinks it's hardwood. Several of the installers took photos of it because they were so impressed with the style and quality. We would certainly recommend Bounds & McPike to others looking for new flooring. Its people are helpful, patient, and hold themselves to a high standard.

In?addition to an incredible?area of flooring options they have an area of incredible carpet remnants. ?They salespeople are efficient, and respectful.?It doesn't matter how much you are buying they are incredible friendly. ?I was always able to reach my sales representative.

Bounds & McPike Flooring were excellent. They were outstanding, not only the sales reps in the store but the?technicians?who did the installation. They were all very, very good. I was not disappointed at all. They just did a fantastic job.?

Overall the installation of our hardwood, tile and carpet was on time and propfessionally done. Jeremy of Bounds & McPike was very helpful in advising us on the selection of particular products to meet our needs and budget. They are not the cheapest flooring company in this area, but they sell quality products and have excellent installation staff.

Lisa, their sales rep, is AWESOME. We had such a great experience in their show room and throughout the whole process. Lisa helped us figure out the best flooring option and stayed on top of the installation. The installer, name escapes me now, is also great. He did a fabulous job, was on time and responsive. A+ for Bounds and McPike and High Five to Lisa.

My experience was mostly positive, but it was an expensive job to do. There was only a week?s time within which they had to do the job. We had sold our house and had to get out. We couldn?t give them anymore time. They were really professional workers. At one point they discovered that there was some problem with the sub floor. They called us up and we discussed it. We decided what to do about it. They did a good job. I thought that it was a fair and competitive price. They did not let the wood set for a week because of the short time frame that I gave them. They were very responsive
