Description of Work: Water was coming through our ceiling from upstairs bath to living room. Joshua and Matthias came on time and investigated, eventually having to cut into the ceiling. They determined that water was getting behind the shower faucet and traveling down to pool. They found some mold and wetness but it was not widespread. They caulked around the faucet and pointed out other places where we might want to re-grout and caulk (which we have now done). They told us how to mitigate the mold and we will replace the drywall in the ceiling ourselves. They were very pleasant, punctual, and knew what they were doing. We appreciated their expertise. |

+ -1 moreWe called at 11am, got a 4pm appointment for the same day. The work took about 20 minutes. He repaired the leak (caused by the dishwasher installation), replaced everything in the cabinet, cleaned the work area and then refused to let us pay for his visit. AMAZING!
Description of Work: We had a dishwasher installed by another company, they told us we had a leaky pipe and to call a plumber. We have used Aim to Please as our plumber since 1990, in two different residences. They are always prompt, courteous and very professional, not to mention unusually helpful.

+ -1 moreWe found a pinhole leak in a PVC coupling in our water line right after it entered the house, and BEFORE the house shut-off valve! I called Aim To Please, and Adam and Derrick came out to my house (in the middle of nowhere). My house was 'custom built', which means that the owner did a lot of the work himself instead of paying contractors to do it properly, so the pipe configuration was a maze of pipes going every direction, with seven...count 'em- SEVEN shut-off valves on pipes that ended three inches beyond them! Adam took the whole maze down and replaced it with a simple, functional configuration, ONE valve, and easy to repair if needed in the future! While Adam worked on that, Derrick cheerfully went to work on the kitchen faucet where I was complaining of leaking around the ball joint and lack of water pressure. By cleaning out all the filters, the pressure was returned to normal, and he tightened it up and no more leaking! Hooray! He then went to work on the pedestal sink in the bathroom and found a cracked PVC connector that was causing the problems. He replaced it and voila! No more leaking in there, either! I asked them (last minute) to be sure my humidistat on the furnace was getting water, so they were able to clear those pipes for us and restore it to working status! They told me that my calcium content in my water was really high (which explained a lot of things to us), and how we could combat that, and we talked about energy efficiency, and they advised us on how to cut our electric bill significantly. Both men were VERY professional, VERY pleasant, and VERY efficient. They were patient when I asked questions, explaining what they were doing and how it would fix the problem (I'm nosy.) They were kind to my dogs, respectful of me and my home, cleaned up after themselves completely, and were a pleasure to have here. Next time I need any plumbing done, I wouldn't dream of calling anyone else!
Description of Work: Replaced piping in the basement that took care of a leak, tightened and stopped leaking around the kitchen faucet, restoring correct pressure and tightened up the piping behind a pedestal sink in the bathroom.

+ -1 moreI've used this company for over 20 years. I usually see Alan Meeker but they had a big job elsewhere so his son Malachi came instead. He was pleasant, prompt and did the job well. He left no mess and even carried out the can after finishing the soft drink I offered him. This is obviously a family company and they take pride in their work. I also appreciate that they are tobacco free.
Description of Work: I had three problems. Faucet in kitchen sink didn't work; he replaced it with a new one which he said I could pick out. I asked if he had one in the truck. He did and I was happy with it and with the time saved. My toilet was singing, he replaced a part. I had a loose handle on my upstairs bathroom sink; he reattached it.
