We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with! They showed up early both for the quote and service, they were friendly, the price was reasonable, and the work was extremely well done! We will be working with them again for future electrical needs!

I would give these guys more stars if it was an option. We have used Aim To Please several times and they are fantastic. Great work, great customer service and great pricing. We had a water heater that the bottom dropped out on and they were there immediately, replaced the old one, installed a new one and cleaned it all up and it was an excellent experience. We just had a problem with a shower faucet that was leaking and broke off. They were out immediately again and had the problem under control and corrected in just over an hour and they showed me how to clean out the drains myself. We have electrical work coming up in the spring and Aim To Please will be the only place we call. Highly recommended.

They were highly professional, from estimate (Alan Meeker) to repairs (Malachi Meeker and Keith Campbell). Keith and Malachi found an additional problem and fixed it without charge, despite the fact that I was willing to pay for that charge. Quick, efficient, friendly, respectful, and attentive to the needs of the client. Oh, and of course, they left the place spotless. Without a doubt, I would recommend Aim to Please to anyone. Now I see why so many in Sycamore Knolls recommends them!

No problems and honest, fair pricing. Fast service. Friendly and courteous. Very tidy and they cleaned area up well.
Description of Work: I’ve used them for a water heater install, to find the source of a leak in my basement ceiling (leaking frig ice-maker, not the washer that I’d suspected), and my recent nasty problem…he discovered that drain pipe vent had been previously routed incorrectly a few inches away to outside wall (hidden under siding) causing recurring problem of bathroom sink drain freezing up in cold weather.

Extremely well. I was scheduled quickly, Alan of Aim to Please Plumbing arrived promptly, my concerns were listened to, understood and addressed. All in a friendly professional manner and at a fair price. I will hire again when needed!
Description of Work: If you have followed my WWTT (what were they thinking?) reviews for my 70's house design and build faults, today's review completes the holy trinity of old house repairs: plumbing. This, with electrical and hvac (see my previous reviews for those) are often the challenge of old home ownership. And when you have found folks that do these 3 things well, house ownership becomes a whole lot easier. I suddenly experienced a large water pressure drop at my kitchen faucet. The faucet appeared to be original to my home. This occurred several weeks after I had installed a drinking water filter and separate spigot on the same sink area. I wasn't sure if there was a causal relationship. I definitely needed my water pressure restored at the kitchen faucet in any case. I knew the original faucet would probably be very difficult to repair, so I purchased a name brand replacement in anticipation of a visit from a plumber. I perused Angie's List and gave Aim to Please Plumbing a call. They were able to schedule me within 48 hours. As promised, Alan arrived promptly, even a little early, which was great. I had emptied out the under sink cabinet area to create room for him to work. He listened carefully as I explained the patient's symptoms, and then explained what he thought had happened. He then suggested an action plan for now and in the foreseeable future. Replace the faucet today, and the plastic supply lines coming thru the wall behind the cabinet later when we do a kitchen freshening in a year or two. I agreed to this plan. The work was completed in a timely fashion. He opened the supply valve bodies and confirmed his diagnosis: the decades old rubber gaskets inside had disintegrated when I had shut them off, and reopened them after installing the drinking water faucet, and over two weeks the gasket chunks had clogged up the supply lines and faucet. He had the necessary parts in hand to make all the pieces of the puzzle come back together. He double checked for leaks, and correct positioning of the new unit. Wow. What a difference! Its obvious to me the old faucet setup's pressure had been degrading over time. The new one works so well that its like night and day. What an improvement! Alan paid complete attention to details while working. He left the sink area better than when he found it. And it was a pleasure to have him in our home. Although some home owners would say there is more than just electrical, hvac and plumbing (roofing? foundation work?) it's great to have found Aim to Please Plumbing and add them to my arsenal for the holy trinity of house repair and maintenance. Their refrigerator magnet has been proudly displayed.

Malachi and Keith quickly diagnosed the problem - the socket was out of alginment with its housing and the socket threads were covered with ceiling "popcorn" which made screwing the bulb in almost impossible. They aligned the socket with the housing, cleaned the popcorn from the threads, and applied a conductive grease to maket it much easier to replace bulbs in the future. While the worked, they kept up a running comentary on what the were doing and why. In short, they were prompt, courteous and professal, a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: We have used Aim to Please several times always with good results. This time we got a light bulbcross threaded in a socket located high up in a stairwell (more than 12 ft) that we could not not get out -- we are seniors whose ladderclimging days are over, especially in stairwells.

Had issue with breaker box overload and was not sure what had happened or how serious. Made emergency call to Aim To Please. Alan and Zippy Meeker were at my house in less then 20 minutes. I could not believe how fast they got here. They both dived in, assessed the problem and calmed me down. Fixed the issue, gave me great advice and were on their way. Can't say enough good about both of these guys. Down to earth, sincere, felt like family. Thanks again, Alan and Zippy! Tom Pemberton.............

I've used these guys in the past with success. I guess now they have too much success without enough people. Can't use them for emergencies!!! I love the folks at this company but obviously I can only use them if I have PLENTY of time to wait.
Description of Work: Needed a pipe fixed that was broken under the sink. It was an emergency as the pipe broke under the shut off to the sink so I had to shut off all water to the house. The pipe broke on a Friday. I called them first due to past positive experience. This time....not so much.....as they were scheduling appointments for the following Friday; A WEEK OUT. Obviously not someone to call in an emergency. I called another local company and they were out and done within a couple hours at a reasonable price. Commercial Service / R&S Plumbing (812-323-7592) has won my future business.

Please pardon our lack of promptness to your emergency. Perhaps it had not been put to the scheduler that you would be willing to have us come out after regular hours to address the project. The worker showed up 10 minutes early so that is great but he was only hear 5 minutes and most of that time was writing out the bill after he said he has never seen a water heater like mine and I should call the company phone number printed on the side of it. '"Aim To Please" advertise free estimate and senior discount but I got neither and paid him the $50 he asked for. I will never call them again. That was $50 I could have given the next plumber I called.

I had planned to do some DIY light fixture changes in our kitchen to freshen the place up. When I took down the light in the middle of the room, I was horrified to realize that there was no electrical box behind it, just a hole in the drywall with cables coming out. Yet again, the builders had cut corners. It was a wonder the fixture hadn't simply fallen in on us at some point. My kitchen was a mess, I had exposed wires and no real way to safely fix the situation, so I called Aim to Please in for emergency support. Although I called at 8:30 on a Saturday morning during the busiest season of the year, Alan and his assistant Jalan were here by mid-morning. Alan examined the situation, told me what needed to be done and got to work. He installed a heavy duty box that fit around the joist and then went ahead and helped me install the fixture itself at no additional charge. It struck me how often Alan insisted on going back to the truck to find the right part or screw, rather than just making do with what he had in hand at the moment. Both Alan and Jalan were courteous and professional, always removing shoes on entering the house and cleaning up after their work as well as giving me helpful tips for future DIY work. I will definitely call them first in support of future projects and repairs.

We get called out for emergencies on occasion. Jalan is fourteen and jumps at the chance to work with Grumpy! Fortunately, well maybe on purpose, we have huge step vans with just about everything in them so we have fewer trips to get parts while on a job. Going shopping adds time to a project ( time= money). Jalan and I enjoy our time together, and a pleasant conversation with a client is a cool learning experience for us all. Cheers!

They did the job. However I was told problem was likely behind the wall and they would need to cut away wall to repair. Actual repair took 5 minutes maybe 10 replacing trap directly under sink. I was 9 months pregnant, extremely ill, and very weak. I feel taken advantage of as they refused to appropriately adjust their billing and billed off the original estimate.

Thank you for the review. You noted our arrival time was as agreed and the quality is standard. We expect the repair to last until the vanity is changed out. It seems you were charged the one hour minimum plus parts and trip charge. The technicians, if productive on a project are not allowed to charge less than the minimum fee. Apparently there was a bid for the project and per company policy they stuck to it. Had it run grossly over time the bill would have been the same. You were given a heads up that it could get ugly, by opening the wall to make a repair. It didn't get ugly.......... Good! When we make a bid we can't see through walls, so we make our best guess. We are happy the project went so well. Cheers!

Everything went really well. Malachi and Josh showed up on time, carefully investigated the situations, brought out a model to show me what was going wrong with the spigot, and gave me some options for getting it fixed or replaced (I went with replacing it). They worked quickly to get it replaced, tested it several times, showed me how the new spigot worked (and how it was better than the old one), and then cleaned up behind themselves. They even put some plywood in behind the spigot to keep it from wobbling and degrading the surrounding drywall. As I suspected, the tub was in bad shape and should probably be replaced. They showed me several areas of leakage beyond the leaks I even knew about. They talked me through some options for getting a new tub and offered to have someone come out for a free estimate for replacing it. (They do bathroom remodels!) They were both very friendly and polite. Even though I hope we never have another plumbing problem, if we do, I will definitely give them a call.
Description of Work: The water spigot in the garage was leaky and very wobbly in the wall. I wanted someone to check it out before we fully finished the garage. I also had a jetted Jacuzzi tub that I suspected should be replaced because of leaking when the jets were on.

I could not be more pleased with the work done by Josh and Malachi. I've had other plumbers who looked at the shower and said there was nothing wrong with it, but Josh and Malachi listened carefully to my description of the problem and took it seriously. When their first idea for a repair didn't work, they rethought the problem instead of giving up. It turned out that there were two overlapping problems--a malfunctioning shower head and a slightly clogged line--that made the issue very complicated, but they figured it out, explaining clearly what they were doing at every stage. By the time they were done my shower was working better than ever. Throughout the process they were both professional, friendly and respectful. I recommend Aim to Please highly!

Proceed with Caution! They took one look at our bathroom and recommended a complete overhaul of the old fixtures. They did not discuss what the issue might be and no other options were offered. I tried to ask about alternatives but was quickly shot down. They quoted the work at $850 for about 4 hrs of work. I hired a different plumber who fixed our tub under 2hrs (includes leaving to find parts) for only $250.

After a faucet becomes an antique we opt for replacement. All too often an antique washer operated faucet needs frequent repair. The new generation washerless faucets come with lifetime warranties. If a leak develops, the manufacturer will send replacement parts directly to you free of charge. Usually even the finish is warranted! Thank you for the feedback and opportunity to make our reasoning known.

On the day of our appointment, Josh Brinegar called to confirm and offered to come a little earlier than our appointment time which was great. He looked at the leak and the plumbing pipes serving the faucet. He offered a couple of different solutions after carefully assessing the interior space where the plumbing comes into the house. After some discussion, we opted for the repair with possibly getting into the bigger job at a later date. I can't say enough about what a professional, kind and thoughtful representative of the company Josh is. I would definitely call Aim to Please again for any plumbing or electrical issue.
