They were great and they did the sink for free. The estimate on the gas line was half of what the other place was. I paid $450 on that work. I loved the interaction with them and they were outstanding. They are the only company I would use.
Description of Work: I used Aim To Please Plumbing & Electric late May because I had a small gas leak in the main line and they fixed it and also fixed a small issue with the sink faucet.

There is no story, as it was effortless on my part. I gave Allen my key, and 24 hours later the job was done, and done well. I'm sure Aim to Pleas has a story, as there was a lot of debris, including broken glass, in the crawl space, and some piping had to be accessed through the shower wall. This house has been unoccupied for over 18 months, so it came complete with spiders and other pests. Sorry Allen! I will definitely use Aim to Please in the future.
Description of Work: Received bid on a total repiping of the main level of a 1500 square foot home, repositioning/replacement of shower fixtures, extension of tiling in bathroom, and addition of washer box. Very old home bought at auction and in need of extensive repair work. Aim To Please team was great! I now have water (hot and cold!) in every room, with "burst-proof" pipes throughout, so shouldn't have to worry about future breaks. Also, lines leading to water heater and washer box are color coded (red=hot, blue=cold), so I can easily identify. This was a total plumbing overhaul, so I felt price was very reasonable.

They came out promptly and did a really great job. They were polite and on time. They put in the wiring for heated floors in the bathroom. They also redid some electrical outlets. They made some good suggestions that made the project better. They had also cleaned up after themselves really well. Their price was excellent. Our experience with them was very positive.

He came to my house, considered my request, and came up with an excellent solution. I ended up not having the work done at all (installation of a jetted tub) because the cost was more than I could afford, but I consider the bid fair. I am impressed with the professionalism and the good listening skills. I believe the solution he came up with was the best way to go about the project.

Malachi found a diamond ring buried in the soil during his excavation! That was a first. He washed it a bit and presented it to the homeowner. What a housewarming present, huh? The homeowners had been in the home less than a year and it is turning out to be quite the gem.

It went great, they arrived on time, quickly installed the heater with better valves than what the old one had, showed me how to drain it and explained it should be done yearly. Very impressed with the 2 men who came out.
Description of Work: Water heater leaked and had to be removed to allow floor to be repaired, they came out the same day and removed the heater, gave me an estimate for a new water heater. Then came back 2 days later to install a new heater. Did a great job at a much lower price than the quote I received from a local big box store that was recommended to me.

We discovered a little bit of water damage on our basement ceiling, from what we assumed to be a leaky pipe. I called on Friday morning, but the soonest they could fit us in was the following Monday afternoon. Because it didn't seem to be a serious problem, I had no problem waiting. The guys showed up on time and removed their shoes so they wouldn't track dirt through the house. I showed them to the basement, where we had initially seen the damage, and they thoroughly investigated all possible causes of the leak. I was really impressed with the pains they went to to make sure they understood how the various pipes, vents and appliances were laid out on the main floor in comparison to the soffits in the basement. We had only moved in a couple of months before, so we were still figuring things out ourselves. They were particularly thorough because it appeared there had been leaks in the past, so were all worried about what that might mean. In the process of looking everything over, they even suggested a simple fix to make our dehumidifier work better and be out of sight. When they pinpointed the problem to the refrigerator, they carefully pulled it out from the surrounding cabinets and discovered the tubing for the water/icemaker had a tiny hole which was leaking and causing the damage below. We were so thankful that it was such a simple fix! They replaced the cheap tubing with a new, better version, and they even cleaned up the tile under the refrigerator while they were at it! Couldn't have been happier!
Description of Work: Thoroughly investigated to find the cause of a leak, and then replaced the hose from the wall to the refrigerator.

I've already covered above the circumstances of Alan's repair today: he replaced a diverter valve in my kitchen faucet. I'd like to say that my daughter recommended Alan to me in the first place. She thinks highly of his work and would have recommended him had she not felt completely confident about doing so.
Description of Work: Aim to Please, Alan Meeker, owner, has been doing plumbing work for me since 1998. He's an excellent plumber and a fine human being. He didn't charge me for his work today, because his son Malachi did a similar repair on the same kitchen faucet about a year ago. Alan decided it was fair not to charge me for doing the same repair so relatively recently. This is typical of him. He's as honest as the day is long, as the saying goes. Just as important, he obviously knows his job. In addition to a variety of plumbing work over the years, he also installed a gas hotwater heater for me. I recommend him without reservations.

The timeframe and work was quoted accurately. The crew worked through the day and stayed late to finish in one day and turn the water back on. The installations look very professional and the multiple leaks we had are now gone. AIM even provided us with an ala carte estimate so that we could pick and choose the services that we needed. We ended up selecting everything for a discount and it was worth it.
Description of Work: ran a gas line to our new range, installed various shutoff valves in existing gas line, replumbed kitchen sink, utility sink, and installed recessed washer hookups/replumbed. They removed all the old galvanized and copper pipe and replaced with up to date pieces.

Originally, planned on hiring Alan for just the plumbing until we realized he is also a certified electrician. Based upon past basic plumbing repair with us as well as a bath room re-model for friends, we decided to hire Alan for both electrical and plumbing rough-in and finishing. With past work performed, we knew that Alan and his crew did not use tobacco or smoke, were courteous/punctual/experienced/knowledgeable, performed quality work, and communicated well. From the start to finish, the communication was outstanding. Alan called anytime a situation warranted a potential re-direction of original plans as well as provided options to improve practicality of the original plans. Alan also implemented communication table in the bonus space where we could both leave basic messages on how the job was proceeding, ask questions or make requests for specific information. In addition, Alan always notified us when he would be on-site and punctually met the prescribed timeline. The electrical and plumbing rough-in and finish was completed in the expected amount of time, and this included providing flexibility to allow us to complete some of the other work I planned to do myself. Over a short period of time, Alan earned our trust, and we left him with access to the main house while we were at work. Alan and his crew?s quality of work was top notch. They went beyond standard industry practices by using flexible plumbing, 12-gauge electrical wire, and large diameter plumbing vents. The electrical wires for the circuits were routed through the floor rather than drilling holes throughout the vaulted ceiling rafters of our unusually shaped home. All the plumbing and electrical runs were neat and clean. Practiced extreme care with all finished components. Removed shoes and used portable rugs under ladder after new hardwood floor installed. For all stages of the project, the job site was swept and trash removed daily, sometimes even removing trash I left. In some cases, Alan and his crew improved quality of the pre-existing structure without further charges beyond the original quote. Several lengths of floor joists in the bathroom and kitchen were added for support in places where previous contractors had removed too much of the joist. Independent electrical service was added to aid the potential use of the space as an apartment. Flex plumbing for water lines connected hot water into the garage sink as well as the lines setup to ease any future addition requiring water or propane gas. Alan was forward thinking from suggesting the addition of timer to easily control humidity in the bathroom and adding cat5e wire for future media upgrades to setting up the bonus space as a potential apartment. The gas and water lines were setup for easy upgrade to meters and independent electrical service added to measure usage. All in all, the experience of working with Aim to Please was great. I cannot say that about any of the other three contractors that provided services for this project. I sincerely felt Alan and his crew cared about our project and worked hard to turn the customer/client relationship into a partnership.
Description of Work: Alan and his crew completed both electrical and plumbing rough-in and finish for 800 square foot detached bonus space that includes full bath, bed room, living room, walk-in closet, kitchen and exterior spaces. The electrical rough-in included installation of independent electric service, panel, and all wire runs (includes fireblocking) to each living space. The plumbing rough-in included installation of tankless water heater, connection to main house water lines, connection to propane line and waste returns, and plumbing runs using flexible tubing for shower, Jacuzzi tub, bath sink, kitchen sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator ice maker. The electrical finish included installation of all outlets/switches, vanity/track/sconce and recessed lights, ceiling fan, shower fan (includes exhaust run), and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. The plumbing finish included installation jacuzzi tub, tub/shower/sink fixtures.

I thought I needed a new outdoor faucet because there was leakage in the basement ceiling right next to the faucet. It was (embarassing) pointed out that a fixture had come loose--it was tightened, and, because a different section of pipe under the dropped ceiliing had been worked on previously--there was no charge. A part of the downstairs toilet was replaced for a nominal fee.

We have always been very satisfied with this company for both its plumbing and electrical work. We had some questions about the most recent work and the owner made a special return visit to address our concerns. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: They have been out three times. The price reflects an average price. They came out three times for plumbing and once for electrical. Thank you for the glowing referral. It pleases us to no end. We will continue to strive for all A's in the ratings. A "B" for price is food for thought, huh? We need to turn a profit to stay in business; so we can't be cheap, fast, and craftsmanlike. We have to choose two, or maybe just one, craftsmanlike. We hired a crawl space company to insulate our crawl space, and while doing so, they indicated that water was pooling in the crawl space and we would need a sump pump to get it Out. The estimate for the work was $850. We called Aim to Please to ask them if they did that kind of work, and came out and gave us an estimate for $650. And their work, as it has been in the past, was prompt and very good. We have no complaints.

We have truly had incredible service and they will be the only company we use for plumbing and electrical from now on. They run their family business like every business should be run...efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time we've called, they have been incredibly responsive and helpful. This is a great company to support!
Description of Work: We have an on-going problem with a "septic-like" odor in our house. We've had plumbers, electricians, septic-tank cleaners, etc. to our house to try to solve the problem. No one seems to know what the problem is and others have been quick to give up. Alan and Malakai, at Aim-to-Please, have been incredible to work with. The problem isn't solved yet, but I know it will be with their diligence. Alan has been out twice in the last 3 weeks to give me suggestions. He comes and brainstorms and is so friendly and articulate. He has yet to charge us because he hasn't "solved the problem." I am completely faithful, after 7 years with this problem, that Alan will be able to solve it.

Woke to no running water in house- called Aim to Please plumbing after a review of area plumbers websites. Called at 8:15, person was very through in asking problem, and the plumber (owner) arrived at 9:15 am. It was very cold!!! and he crawled into our crawlspace - no small feat in any type of weather - and he re-sealed some open vents and emerged to tell us that the frozen pipes were not under the house. He not only found the source but show us how to deal with it ourselves in the future! He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, fair price and an unexpected pleasure to work with!
