Joshua, Matthias. and Jalen were professional, courteous and knowledgable. I liked the fact that they took their shoes off upon entering the house. I also liked that this is a no-smoking company. They did a good job. The cost was more than I had expected. Replacing the flapper was $5.00, the labor was 100.00. I was also charged $50.00 for the trip which was totally unexpected. I got a $10.00 discount. Overall, I still thought that the trip and job were overpriced. Otherwise, mother would get an A.
Description of Work: Replaced toilet tank flapper. Answered questions regarding water heater replacement.

Joshua did a wonderful job. He was very friendly and pleasant to work with and got my sink fixed in no time and it works wonderfully now. No water leaking like before and it drains faster now too. Aim To Please is definitely going to be my plumber from now on!

Smooth as ever. Josh and Malachi showed up on time and installed my new disposal. The plumbing was difficult because "some idiot" (my words) had put a lot of silicone on the pipes, and there was a fair amount of grunting - but no cussing! Everything was smooth, professional, and friendly.

As in the past they were on time, professional, helpful and friendly. I was not familiar with my electrician/plumber this time, his name was Matthias Garacci; however, he did a fine job and I was very pleased with the service. He of course didn't have Alan's sense of humor, but he was professional and explained things to me well.

We had not been able to use a jetted bathtub because the power switch was stuck and inoperable. I had thought we might have to replace the tub since it was installed in a way that panels could not be removed to access the interior parts for replacement. Josh was able to experiment with the switch and get it apart from the outside so that it could be lubricated and put back in working order without having to access the interior and replace the part. He was quite resourceful in solving the problem.

Alan was great at helping me with my problem. I also learned a bit about my house as we searched for the problem! Glad he noticed the simple problem - I had looked back there a few times and completely missed it. Very nice to work with. Since there wasn't anything else to fix, I had him write up a quote for some bathroom remodeling I have in mind. Got back to me within a couple of hours and I'll definitely contact Aim to Please for any of my plumbing and electrical needs. Actually, I just had a outlet blow out, so I'll be calling them in the morning!
Description of Work: Alan came out to investigate a possible slab leak in my single level home. We went through the house looking for leaks and being a bit stumped until he noticed a small pipe going from my HVAC system to the humidifier was loose, likely knocked loose from my cat. Basically fixed it with duct tape, free of charge.

They've been out here twice for me. The first time was in October for some plumbing. Then they came out in December and hung a heavy chandelier. They worked on a doorbell, which they have not been able to totally fix yet. They replaced the sink faucet. They put in some dimmers for me in a bathroom. They worked on the electric lighting in a bathroom, which another electrician had worked on and was not able to fix it. And then they checked an outlet that acted like it was overheating, but it wasn't the outlet it was what was getting plugged into it. The main guy, he's kind of grouch but they are extremely prompt. They do a good job. They clean up. I gave them a list and they finished the list.

Josh and Matthias were both awesome. They were very quick to diagnose the problem, and only charged for one worker even though they both helped. They figured out there was a huge clog that was not allowing water to drain properly and go up our sump pump. These guys were awesome. They also figured out a problem with our water heater, and found out we just need a couple new elements that need to be replaced. These guys were quick, honest, and great to talk to. As a new homeowner I had never worked with a plumber before. Now I know my wife and I have our plumber for as long as we live in Bloomington!

The work went very well. They came on time. They were extremely professional. Their work area was neat and they cleaned up when finished. We have used Aim to Please in the past and they are very neat and punctual. Their work is well done. They are our go to plumber for Bloomington.

We were extremely pleased with Alan and Mathias from Aim to Please. They were super friendly and professional. They installed a gas line for a new range and everything is working perfectly. We had a little trouble getting a hold of them when we had a question, but once we did our question was answered and explained thoroughly. They also installed our new range without increasing the cost of their estimate. They were awesome and they come highly recommended.

When we noticed a wet ceiling in our garage, we immediately suspected some kind of a leak from the bathtub on the main floor. We called Aim to Please first thing the next morning. They set us up with an afternoon service call the same day. Josh and Malachi, the plumbers, appeared right on schedule. Within minutes, they had diagnosed the problem as a leaking drain line from the bathtub. The repair necessitated removing a small amount of ceiling and insulation. Their work was minimally invasive, and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. In less than an hour, the leak was repaired. The plumbers were professional and highly competent. We would recommend this business to anyone who needs plumbing services. The company discounts the cost $10 for paying at the time of service.

In Spring 2015, we had a new bathroom installed. By summer the toilet had begun to leak. On August 10, we had Aim to Please come to the house. We had two requests: (1) installing a better quality outdoor faucet that we use all the time, and (2) fixing the toilet leak which was filling a bucket every other day. The plumber changed the valve in the outside faucet (something I could have done myself) and told my wife that the toilet was defective and needed to be replaced. I began an extended discussion with the store where we purchased the toilet and the manufacturer. Finally about a week ago in response to a suggestion from the manufacturer, I tightened the bolts between the tank and the base. Since then there hasn?t been a trace of a leak. The plumber spent about 10 minutes working and charged $140. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the quality of service and would advise caution in using Aim to Please in the future.

The primary reason that I contacted Aim to Please is that I misinterpreted "bath remodeling" to include re-finishing tubs, which this plumber doesn't do. A minor leak was deemed owner-fixable. There was no charge for the service call. Pretty amazing in this day and age. When we do need a plumber, we'll be calling again.
Description of Work: After consultation, we determined that the fix could be done by the owner. We received 15 minutes of informed counsel regarding future plumbing projects, including what to do and not do as we prepare to put our home on the market.

He arrived right on time. My previous light was flickering and obviously on the way out -- even though the bulbs had been replaced in 2012 and the ballast as recently as 2013. He checked it out, and reported that, yes, he could fix it, but recommended that I replace it with a brighter light. I agreed to that. We went over to a nearby "big box" store and selected a fixture, came back, and he installed it. I now have plenty of light in my kitchen! He cleaned up completely. I am 100% satisfied, and well definitely call them again if I have electrical work that needs to be done.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Aim to Please. Beginning with our first scheduling call, we felt welcome, and that they were truly being honest with us. Malachi came out first to assess the problem, then Alan the next day to assess and quote. They were (thankfully!) able to schedule the work for the following day, and Malachi, Matthias, and Josh efficiently and beautifully fixed us right up. They were professional, honest (it bears repeating), kind, and hard workers. For the breadth of the job, I was surprised they were able to complete in a day. Everything looks tip top. We will use them in the future, without question!
Description of Work: We had a host of issues with plumbing, faucets, and caulk/grout of our shower and tub. They needed to go through an opposite wall to fix them problem, which had them in our kitchen behind the fridge.

It is a pleasure to write a review and recommend Aim To Please. When we called to set up an appointment, our first contact was with Valerie, who was very pleasant and quickly assured us our problems could be resolved soon. Since we had both electrical and plumbing issues, it was especially helpful that they could send one person to fix the problems. Alan Meeker arrived right on time and soon assessed the situation and got to work. He was personable, offered good advice, and resolved all of our problems in a professional and efficient manner. He was neat and left each work area clean. We will definitely use Aim To Please again. Thank you to Valerie and Alan for an excellent experience from beginning to end.

Alan was professional, friendly, efficient and very clear about what he was doing and why. He treated our home with respect, made sure he understood what was needed, and answered questions clearly. He took extra steps to make sure the job was done right, like personally washing the glass sections of the lamp. It was a pleasure working with him, and I will not hesitate to call Aim to Please again when I need work done.

We had an outdoor spigot that was leaking. There was a crack in the pipe from the cold winter. Alan went down in our crawl space and fixed the pipe as well as added a new outdoor spigot. He added a new high tech toilet seat and repaired our leaking toilet. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable plumber and I liked that he didn't reek of cigarette smoke and took his shoes off every time he entered and exited our home. We really appreciated this factor as we do not wear shoes in our home. We really liked the work that Aim to Please plumbing did and would hire them for any other plumbing work we need done. Alan is a great guy and very funny.

High tech toilet seat..........I've even installed one with remote control! Like, where do they think you're going to be when you operate this thing anyway?! Well, OK, those heated seats are pretty soothing in a basement (not that I have one, my daughter does though, in her basement). I just prefer the regular slow-close kind. I don't really want to touch it and don't want it to slam down either. Cheers, ~Alan Have a good day, smile and play.

Thank you for the nice note. We understand and appreciate the time it takes to contact your e-neighbors like this. It is important for them to be able to get a good "feel" for the service provider before ever he shows up at their door. >95% of our clients are women who must feel safe when a stranger comes to their home. 100% of our technicians are married with children, all four of them. We have keys to many of our clients' homes, and have even had some leave blank checks for us to fill out when we're done. The option to pay on line is convenient for absentee owners too. We thrive on the personal contact though, so we can be your hero for the day. Cheers, Malachi, Alan, Matthias, and Josh
