Description of Work: We started a fire in the first floor fireplace and saw and smelled smoke coming out of the basement. He checked out the basement and saw smoke was returning to the house through the basement fireplace. the house was full of smoke by that time. | I blocked the basement fireplace chimney and maybe a couple of weeks later I tried by building another fire in the first floor fireplace. The smoke came back into the basement somewhere. I will give Mr. Baun another try soon.

Description of Work: Inspected and cleaned chimney and firebox. Rearranged gas logs and checked gas line. He was was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Offered information on how to maintain gas logs and essentially cleaned the firebox more thoroughly than the company that we used one week before through an Angie's List deal! Would highly recommend this company and have seen his van at three of our neighbors houses within the last week, or so.

Description of Work: They replaced a rusted chimney cap with stainless steel cap and did a great job.

Description of Work: I have had numerous chinmey sweeps before, but this was by far the best. Mr. Baun was very professional and punctual and did a good job. However, it was the time that he took to educate me on the chimney that impressed me most. He walked me through what to look for, how to care for build up, and how to clean the fireplace. I highly recommend this company and I will use them again.
